Food is just the same as any other Texas Roadhouse, which isn't bad. I will say the "call-ahead" seating they do will leave you waiting much longer than places that don't partake in this. It extends your wait quite a bit. If you don't call ahead, they assign a wait time of 1 hour and anyone who calls ahead at a time before your hour, will be seated ahead of you, even if they called ahead after you started waiting. IF we come back, we will definitely call ahead before-hand. I understand this system is designed to benefit the customer, but it is flawed to the point that it is an actual detriment to those who don't know about it. read more

After waiting 45 minutes for a table, which we were ok with, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food! No one ever gave us a drink refill until we were leaving. Our table was clearly forgotten about from the beginning, despite us politely asking about our status. Horrible experience. Went for my daughters birthday (2). Our waitress, Erika was completely in another world. Would take 15 min to bring a refill, had absolutley no personality. A man made a balloon for my daughter and son and was very nice. He told Erika it was my daughters birthday and she acted like she could care less. Food came out cold. One kids meal had half as much food as the other one and they were the same order. Asked Erika again at the end if they do anything for birthdays and she brought out a scoop of plain icecream, with no personality, no song, not even a smile or a wished happy birthday from Erika herself! Daid Never in my entire life have I seen such poor quality of management. While the food may be delicious, it's hard to ignore the clear lack of management and structure in the work place. When I asked to speak to a manager to simply compliment my waiter, it took over 30 minutes for him to reach me and he was cold and inhumane. This is the third time I've spoken to said manager, with each time being worse than the last. If you don't like your job then find a new one! But there's no need to be disrespectful to your customers and staff simply because you're resentful of your life. It's simply too much to overlook anymore and this Texas Roadhouse will no longer be getting my service. Said manager is named Bob and if you every have the injustice of speaking to him I recommend you speak to a wall instead and walk out of the establishment instead, as anything you say to him is comsidered, appreciated, or even recognized. I enjoy eating at texas road houses at least once a month, and this one always been up to expectations. I have been at least five others (pittsburg area, state college, york, gettysburg area and one in lower maryland) and this one is just as good as you are going to get from them. If you haven't been to a texas roadhouse before, this one is a fine place to go to. Know to expect peanuts! (They like to eat those everywhere and leave their carcases on the floor to walk on.) They are also well known for their rolls which are delicious. Their steak, rib and chicken are always a safe bet, I enjoy their side salads more than any other steakhouse around (they get an extra point for having honey french dressing), and their sides are good too. For me texas road house is just another branch like chilis or mcdonalds, I wouldn't go out of your way to find and eat at one. However if you live near one, it can easily become a regular place to eat. read more

This only gets a 4/5 due to the hit or miss seating. I've called 4 times for call ahead seating, once waiting 90 minutes (and finally leaving) and the other waiting 45 minutes, the other 2 we were seated right away. The food is amazing, starting with the hot dinner rolls. I've either always gotten the steak or chicken tenders, and my steak has always been cooked to perfection and very tender. This was sort of a last minute stop from w trip back from CPAC, but hey, it's Texas Roadhouse, it can't be that bad right? I should have almost know better. My party of 4 entered the establishment at 8:33 PM. The wait was "20 minutes", we got seated at 8:55, now the fun begins. The four of us are seated in a corner booth, waiting for our server. We have this waitress Laura breeze by us, saying she will be back "shortly." Yeah right, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that. 17 minutes later, the lovely individual finally makes her grand reappearance. We still haven't even received plates, water, or freaking rolls. She says, and I quote "do you want rolls?" My Friend responded "We want our drinks, our rolls, and to order our dinner." Finally we ordered our simple meals and the order was placed. Let's fast forward 34 minutes, our food finally arrives, lukewarm at best I might add. Collectively this waitress needs to be retrained, she was barely deserving of her $2.21 tip off of my $16.95 meal with tax. Next time you and your friends are coming back from CPAC and need dinner, save your time, energy, and well being, and settle for "Wawa", lm a New Yorker so I barely know what that is. This appears to be quite popular and waiting times can be long and reservations are not taken. it can be loud at times for dining depending on what a person is wanting. The food is adequate, but not great by any stretch and definitely overpriced for the quality. Lots of add on costs, baked potato, cream cheese extra for example, if not aware, it mounts up, what shows on menu as $11.99 entrée can be $20. I came in at 8:30 pm on a Sunday and they were fairly full but no one was waiting to be seated. It took the host a minute to realize that I was standing there in front of him. He proceeded to call 3 different waitresses over and asked each them if they would take a customer. All 3 said No with me standing right there. Visited Tuesday at 4:00 pm with my 12 yo daughter. We like the early bird menu. The service was fine. The steak was very tasty. The reason for my poor review? What do most people look forward to, besides a good steak? The peanuts and warm rolls! NO ROLLS for us or any other guest while we were there. Basically every guest got cheated out of a staple and great part of the meal. From 4 pm till we left at around 4:50 pm, no rolls. UNACCEPTABLE! The manager on duty did not do their job today! It was our first time here and did not know the menus were hidden behind the peanut baskets and large drink menus. So we waited and waited for a waitress. We found them on our own and then she magically appeared. We asked for a few minutes that turned into 15 when she brought us more bread and butter. We ordered and another long wait where we finished off the bread and a good deal of peanuts. I ordered the sirloin medium and it was very well. My companion had very dry chicken and even drier ribs. The veggies were very good with the exception of the gravy with some mashed potatoes in it. We thought it should have had more potatoes than gravy. We had to flag down our waitress for a check as she never came back. The price was OK. The food was not as expected and the service was extremely poor. We will not be back. read more
