Dear Texas Roadhouse of Fallston (MD), This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. I have you a 1 out of 5 only because I felt bad for our nice waitress. We showed up at 5:20 and didn't get seated until 6. That's a 40 minute wait. It was 7 of us, 4 who ordered stake, 1 who ordered chicken, and 2 who ordered burgers. Now, I am fully aware that stake takes longer to make than burgers and chicken. We put in our order at 6:08 but didn't receive our food until 7:20. THATS AN HOUR AND 12 MIN!!!!!! So between waiting to be seated and our food being made, we were waiting 1 hour and 52 minutes! How in the world is that acceptable?! Now, when we received our food, only the chicken was hot. The stakes were room temperature at best and the burgers were cold. The buns were warm, which tells me the food sat under a heated lamp for a long time. I sent my entire plate back and didn't ask for a new burger. The other burger was sent back as well but a new one was requested. Now, the burger was supposed to be medium well. The new burger came out in less than 10 minutes, which we thought was a miraculous triumph for the kitchen staff, until a bite was taken. The burger was so raw, the meat looked like it was about to bleed. It was disgusting. Like most people, I have worked in the restaurant industry. I know wait times and cook times. Anything over 25 minutes is unacceptable, even when you are busy, which you really weren't. The waitress was super nice but true management did NOTHING to try and make things right. I will never return to eat there again. Please hire new management and cooks PS- learn simple math. 5 bread rolls for a table of 7? That's just horrible service. read more

I really dislike negative reviews, that being said, they left me no choice. Server was not interested, food took over 45 minutes to hear it was because the loaded mash was out. Still didn't give us the mash, so why so long? Drinks took forever to refill, not happy and it will be a long time before I return. read more

Food is good but kids run the place. Friday and Saturday dinner times are a complete joke waiting for seating. They have call ahead seating to reduce the wait and it is a total waste of time. Don't bother. It hardly makes a difference in your wait. Also, music is loud and in turn everyone is yelling at one another to try to talk. Place is 90% hicks. it was a busy night so we ordered carryout- hoping it would be as good as the meals we had had at the restaurant . What a disappointment. the order was messed up- the steak was overcooked- and for the cost it should have been perfect. Not a very good experience here. We waited about 40 minutes - that's OK busy restaurant, lots of people. When asked for drinks it took about 20 minutes just for beers. Although pleasant , the waitress hardly ever checked up on us and we found dirty silverware and then a bug crawling across the table. When we spoke to a manager, who did not introduce herself, she said she would take care of us - comp? Don't know she disappeared. The food was marginal. The pulled pork was good, could have been a little more spicy for me. The fries were very salty as well as my wife's dish, the shrimp with rice. I waited until I've had many visits to this TRH before writing my review. I like to see if a restaurant is consistent with their food and service before putting in my 2 cents. After about 20 visits, (over the last year) I can say that I have never been disappointed by the food or service. Of course, I always get steak ......always "medium" and it has always been cooked correctly. My daughters always get something different.....salmon has been their favorite, with the shrimp a close second. And of course, the rolls are so good! I always ask for some to take home and have always been generously accommodated. Lastly, I do appreciate the manager, David, coming by our table on one of our visits to ask how everything was. But it wasn't just one visit....he made note of our names and faces, and continues to stop by our table each time we come in. It really does give you a "welcome" feeling. And who doesn't like that when using your hard earned money to eat out. read more

I cheerfully walked in and stood in front of the hostess station. Everyone was busy talking to one another. I waited almost a minute. A group of people entered and stood behind me. The hostess/waitress turned, looked past me at them and asked them how many in their party. They said four, and they all walked past me. The remaining hostesses kept talking as I stood there. Came last weekend and did call-ahead seating. Still had a decent wait, but considering the line out the door, it was definitely the smart thing to do and the wait was not unreasonable for a weekend. The service was EXCELLENT and we did not have to wait very long for our food to arrive. The rolls were freshly baked and very tasty! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and required nothing more than a little bit if salt - PERFECT! Loaded baked potato was great and the cheesecake for desert was also very good. All in all, we really enjoyed our first experience here and will definitely be coming back. Last but certainly not least, the prices were also very good! read more

My family and I stopped for an early dinner yesterday, and we were slightly disappointed that our dinner was a little cool. No big deal - it happens - but once we mentioned it to staff, the manager came over to apologize and offered us new meals. We had eaten, so we declined, but appreciated her apology. However, when we went to pay, we discovered that she had reduced our bill. However, she also brought over two hot dinners in carry out bags for us to take home. We were surprised and very grateful! After a weak house salad I was surprised how amazing that the BBQ ribs were! The meat was fall off the bone, the perfect amount of barbecue sauce and grilled to perfection. Overall a good value and great for families. read more

The cook at this location has 2 settings, raw or well done. They don't seem to have the ability to cook a steak any other way. Went there with my wife last night and both of us ordered a steak. Hers came out more on the well side, at least at one end, & she will eat that, but mine came out rare to raw in the middle. The waitress took my entire plate back, she did not even offer to leave me the fries to eat & they put the same piece of meat back on the grill. Meanwhile my wife ate her meal, so it would not get cold. When she was just about done, my recooked steak arrived via the manager, who asked me to check it. It was still not as I had ordered it & was still raw in the middle. Needless to say we will not be going back. The manager apologized over & over again & kept saying to give them another chance & gave us a coupon. This was the last chance for this place & ordering steak. They need to fire the cook & get someone who can cook a steak to order. read more

I don't usually review chains. I actually tend to make a point of avoiding then if I can. But if you have to go chain, this isn't a bad choice. Decent beef, cooked as you ask. Stopped there today because I didn't feel like cooking. Food was fine, at at the bar. The two bartenders were ok. They were nice, but they were more interested in standing under the TV talking to each other, than engaging with customers. It's a steakhouse chain. The food is meh. The service is better than a typical chain's - everyone is always friendly and attentive to their tables. The hot buttered rolls served with cinnamon butter upon being seated - and thereafter unlimited - are delicious. This is the kind of place I would never seek out for myself, but if some friends suggested it and felt all gung-ho, I'd be along for the ride without any chagrin. Went here for dinner last night (first time there) around 6:15p and the place was packed. We had to wait for a good 20 minutes until seated. Their hot bread rolls and cinnamon butter was delicious! Boyfriend had their full rack of ribs while I had fried catfish. The wait for our food to arrive was pretty long, but once it arrived the food was great and cooked perfectly. I liked my side baked sweet potato and green beans, but my boyfriend felt his sweet potato was okay and the veggies were garbage. Stopped in for the first time today, Rachel our server hit it out of the park! She could teach a master class in serving. This Texas Roadhouse is fairly new, so we thought we would give the chain a try for lunch, before seeing a movie on the weekend. The chili is Texas chili awesome. and the chicken fried steak was very good. (I have never been given the choice of white or brown gravy before, very nice). As you walk in the door there is a glass cooler full of steaks that you can choose for your meal; this is an option I will have to try for dinner, as they get you drooling from the minute you step in. I hope the manager sees this and gives Rachel a good bonus in her check. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good casual night out. read more

Outside of the insanely long wait this place can have (I'd recommend coming here right when they open to avoid lines), the food and service here is always solid. The all you can eat peanuts are a nice treat, and the rolls they serve could be the greatest I have ever eaten. Seriously, go crazy with those. Went there yesterday during lunch, upon g/f's request. It was around 2PM, and it was packed! There was a wait of 25-30 mins, but we just went to the bar instead, which had about 5 seats open. Horrible night. We were in from out of town doing a huge toys for tots drive event. Our friends who live here recommended we all go to this place. We get there and the wait was an hour to get seated. Another hour to get the food once we ordered it. The service was horrible. The food came out wrong. The utensils were dirty, missing side dishes with meals, and to top it all off whenever we would politely mention this to our waitress she would catch an attitude. Our friend didn't even eat dinner . Her steak came out RAW. Came back out well done. She originally asked for med. rare. The manager only comped us one meal and that was fine.
