    THE BEST ROLLS AND BUTTER

My 1st time at Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint! They bring you to the table with fresh HOT rolls and butter, like instantly you are happy. The service was so quick and friendly. Vibes are classic cowboy bar and I love it. This is a MUST TRY

Stopped here in February as I haven't been here i. Years. Very busy and HUGE portions! I recommend you get on their waitlist online so you don't have to wait. It was my boos first time and we talked up the rolls and cinnamon butter. Still as good as I remembered! They are so fresh! They give you a bag of peanuts vs baskets back in the day. Probably smart! We shared the "Cactus Blossom" blooming onion and it was salty but satisfied the craving. I always got the salmon and still enjoyed it. This time I got with mashed potatoes and dang were those evil! I shared the shrimp skewers with a friend and those had great flavor. I was surprised! My boo got the Sirloin combo with Ribs. The meat was good enough for him to want to order again so I would say that's a good thing! The one thing he hated were the green beans. They looked waxy and jarred. Otherwise, we all enjoyed and even took good home! Good job for keeping the food up to par with the past.

Had an amazing meal!! We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and decided to go for a good steak. We got that. Along with fried pickles for an app that we're very tasty, baked potato, yummy rolls and a great salad. Everything was very good. We did have left overs to take home, yeah!! Our service was very good as well thank you that always helps to have an enjoyable time. I got a NY strip steak and my husband got the rib eye with mushrooms. We were both pleased with everything. Ate tooo much.

Did take out after work. Was really craving a steak. The bone in ribeye was delicious, had a butteriness that filled me up. I love a good, expensive steak, but this can also fill the bill when you need some good beefiness.

Big fan of Texas Roadhouse, always! This time I spiced it up from my usual sirloin to get pork chops and applesauce, such a great combo. And Texas Roadhouse has some good pork chops. I got applesauce and fries as my side but I feel like the fry portions keep getting smaller. Also while I know meat is why we go to Texas Roadhouse, I do wish they had more vegan options as my sibling is vegan so there wasn't much they could eat, they just got a beer. Usually we have good service but this time the service wasn't very good. Our server forgot to put in our potato skins and then came back asking if we wanted to do any apps. We also had to ask for refills after she walked by us multiple times. It was busy but still not the service we are used. This is still one of our go to spots!

We went here last Sunday just before 8pm. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to be seated right away. This was my second experience after trying the Woodbury location for the first time a few months prior. I was excited for the exact same meal it was so good. Unfortunately the experience was subpar, especially compared to the experience at Woodbury. The service was very friendly, but we seemed to be the neglected table. A lot of little things added up to the poor experience. We ordered the filet medallions with loaded potatoes with two house salads sides. Our server was not present and didn't check in until after our meal was completed. The food runners brought out the salad first and we didn't realize our table didn't have silverware until after they walked away. The salad was good, but the tomatoes served past their prime. When our main dish was delivered, they forgot our requested onions and mushrooms. We were so hungry we just ate what was prepared. The potatoes were lukewarm at best, and the requested extra rolls never made it to our table until after our meal was finished. The meal was good, but when you go out you expect your meal to be a decent temperature and have drinks refilled.

Went to this steakhouse on a Friday night and it was packed! We were there around 5:30pm and there was a 40 Mn wait already. We decided to go to the bar area seating which is first come first serve. I have to say that despite being so busy, the energy was buzzing and there was the vibe of everyone happy to be here sharing good food with family and enjoying an evening out. Saw large family groups at many of the tables. I was very impressed with our bar/server staff. They are definitely a well oiled machine. They were fast, efficient, good service and a smile on their face. Even the person who eventually brought out the food made small talk, and in no way did you feel the staff was overwhelmed with the place completely packed. Saw servers every once in a while collectively dancing on specific songs for entertainment, which absolutely adds to the family and fun atmosphere. Everyone gets the fresh bread and sweet butter on their table. It was hot and absolutely delicious! Also had the 16oz ribeye with steak fries and a baked potato with butter and cheddar cheese and sides of steamed vegetables and buttered corn. All of the food was wonderful. The steak was cooked just right. The baked potato was fluffy and cooked all the way thru. The vegetables and corn had good simple flavor to complement the potato. They have a $5 everyday 16oz beer or 10oz margarita. No time restrictions which is good knowing whenever you go you can get that deal. Parking lot is attached and pretty big. Hosts were taking names even before you enter. ( maybe that's just for when it's busy) Looking forward to another evening out here.

Our server was great and my portobello Mushroom chicken was delicious. My brothers dish stole the show. It looked very impressive and he said it was "pretty good."

This is our go-to steakhouse - both dining in and take-out. First, the quality and quantity of food is fantastic. My husband and I can get a great tasting meal with leftovers for less than most restaurants let alone steakhouses. Their soft rolls are the perfect delivery system for the mouthwatering honey butter. I have to limit my intake because I could easily fill up on these (and have when we order takeout). Hubby always gets the steak kebabs and subs out the rice for a different side. I get the country-fried steak when we go in person, and the kids mini-cheeseburgers when we take out. We sit at the bar because the service is great and soda refills are speedy. The only missing for me is more dessert options but that definitely won't keep us from going regularly.

Wonderful service! Made a reservation ahead of time which was a brilliant idea with how busy the restaurant was. The manager came to greet himself, overall costumer service was top tier! When we got seated, we immediately got served with some fresh buns and our lovely server kept them coming! Food was on point. No complaints, best location so far. Pricing is not bad for the amount of food. Ribeye* 12oz

Been many years since we've dined at a Texas Roadhouse. Overall good experience. This location has a large dining area. I recommend reviewing the menu before coming because they offer a lot of options. Bread and cinnamon butter was divine. So soft and buttery. The onion blossom was nice and crispy. Both of us ordered the bone-in ribeye, that comes with 2 sides. I ordered my steak med rare but it came as a medium, which I kind of expected. Most mid priced restaurants can't get the right temperature for steaks. They tend to err on the side of overcooking than too rare. The sweet potato looked a little sad but was fine. They offer options of getting your potatoes "loaded" but I opted for just butter. Service was friendly and they checked on us regularly. I appreciate that they have a tablet at the table to pay by credit card and it also has online games for those with kids. Speaking of kids, the restaurant is loud. Unfortunately the table next to us had 3 small kids and they took turns screaming. Ugh. Also to note that they have peanuts in the shell at the table. Great for those who love nuts, dangerous for those with nut allergies.

My family and I stopped in around 5 on a Saturday night. Although the parking lot was packed we were immediately seated with bread and sweet butter on the table. Our waiter came over to take our drink order immediately as well as asked if we were ready to order. It felt rushed. I ordered the ribeye with the loaded sweet potato and fried pickles as an appetizer. The pickles were crispy and hot. The ribeye was a little saltier than I would prefer, but still good. The loaded sweet potato is practically a dessert in all the best ways. Overall, the food and service was okay, but definitely focused on speed.

Love coming here. Even though it's always busy, the wait list makes it really easy. Always fully staffed and food never takes too long. Steaks were cooked as ordered. Ribs were falling off the bone. Rice and chili are MUST gets as your sides. They gave a free birthday brownie.

You sit at a table and order off your phone, and servers will bring your food and drinks out to you. Had no problem with that, it was a fairly easy process. Our servers were kind and I believe we talked to the owner for a bit who was attentive to all the tables! The food is the disappointing piece. I had the chicken rojo avocado tacos and they really lacked flavor. There was plenty of chicken in such a small tortilla, which made the taco fall apart as you ate. My sister ordered the pesto Mac and cheese with chicken and it was okay, but the chicken was not good. I didn't try the tenderloin bowl, but it seemed to have better reviews than my meal or my sisters from my family. I don't make my way out to Blaine often enough to try again, but I think this would be a better spot for pizzas and milkshakes.

The inside of the restaurant is nearly identical, the food is nearly identical, much of the staff is identical, the signature meal is nearly identical. The only significant changes are the ever-increasing prices of the steaks. The rustic cabin vibe never gets old. However, one thing that I did not previously review are Lindey's lunches. This has to be the only restaurant where the lunch menu offers more choices than the dinner menu! Now, keep in mind that the dinner menu has only four choices (really only three, if you don't count the prime sirloin which no one orders because it's only a dollar or two less than the "special." However, in addition to the "full" dinner menu, at lunch you can get steak sandwich, two sizes of hamburger, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a grilled cheese sandwich. If my math is correct, that's double the options! On the plus side, the steak sandwich is excellent and costs less than third of the Lindey's special. It is tasty, juicy, comes on an excellent hoggy bun and seems be the same cut as the dinner steak (albeit, a smaller quantity of course). All sandwiches come with either chips or their funky (but lovable salad with Russian dressing), and a pickle spear. Please note that if you want their potatoes, it's $2.95 extra, and additional ingredients -- from onions to tomato to lettuce are about a dollar extra per ingredient. Still, it's a solid value. Also, if you are used to the dinners, please note that the potatoes are not limited and the price is per person, not for the table. All in all, I recommend Lindey's for both dinner and lunch. However, if you have only had dinner there, I urge you to try if for lunch too!.

There were six of us, and I loved that their menu was straight forward with about 10 main dishes to choose from. I got the cheese tortellini with steak. We also got the breadsticks as appetizers and I got a side cedar salad. The breadsticks were big and fluffy and it came with red sauce, but we also asked for Alfredo sauce to dip it in. The steak on top of my tortellini was cooked great! Was probably cooked to about medium-medium rare. The Alfredo was top tier. I loved the flavor and it was very creamy. They gave you a lot too which was nice. I liked the size of the Caesar salad, not too big, and the dressing was great. I wasn't a super huge fan of the croutons because they were a rye type of bread. We tried all three desserts and they were all very good. The lava cake was my favorite. The waitress was also the hostess. She was very nice. The only thing I would say was that it was a bit odd that she was wearing leggings and a crop top. Just felt a little unprofessional seeing her belly button piercing. She did a very good job serving us though. The food was very well priced and good portions because I walked away with extras. The place was relatively quiet for a Friday night. First, when you walk in, note that Prime is upstairs. The first level is a casual pizza pub. The space is modern but comfortable. Service was incredibly good. They have a nice list of cocktails and we enjoyed our Hemingway Daquiri and Vieux Carre cocktails. It's hard to find the latter in the Twin Cities, especially one well made. We started with the Bread, which is $10. It was good bread, and the accompanying Honey Butter was very good, but I still get really annoyed by this trend of having to pay for bread. We followed that up with the Bone Marrow appetizer. It was very good, and came with nice crispy Ciabatta toasts and an Apricot Jam that didn't have much Apricot flavor but the citric acidity was good for cutting the delicious greasiness of the marrow. My wife had the Scallops appetizer as an entree. With 5 decent sized scallops, it was perfect and she really liked them. She also ordered the Shrimp Scampi side dish ($23), which was the only miss of the night. The Shrimp were cooked perfectly, but were under-seasoned and there was no garlic flavor at all. Despite all the reviews on here implying that Prime has trouble getting meat temperatures right, I ordered the Petite Filet Mignon. It came at a perfect Medium Rare as ordered. It was also nicely seasoned and paired well with the very good Bleu Cheese Fondue add-on ($5). For dessert, we opted for the Whiskey Bread Pudding, even though they offered us a free Molten Lava Cake for our anniversary (the gave us a glass of sparkling wine to share instead). The Bread Pudding was good, but was a little dense and didn't really have any Whiskey notes. All in all, we had a very good meal and would definitely return.

Booked at Prime as most other choices were already full and we thought we'd give them a try. Arrived to find out they were backed up and our reservation may be at risk. Bar tender told us "people are just staying longer than we expect". We discovered why later. The place is small. The bar was staffed by three bartenders and they were still slow to take orders and deliver drinks. The bourbon and scotch list was small and a very mundane selection. Not a steak house level of options. If I'm going to spend $90 for a steak I expect casual, comfortable and not squeezed in tight with others. Seemed more mid-level than a high level steak house. We were seated and our drink order was taken and delivered. Then nothing. Finally came to take our order. Maybe 20 minutes into our evening. Then another very long wait until our appetizers finally came. And a longer wait for the meals themselves. There are no toppings for the steaks (I.e. crumbled blue cheese). Instead they bring out small metal cups of sauces. Not what I would expect. The tomahawk looked great. The asparagus was a very small order for the price and almost cold by the time it got to us. We finally wrapped the night after 3 hours. And I now see why reservations were being pushed. The delays were painful. Operationally they are having issues. This is NOT on the level of a Pittsburg Blue; which I would accept but their prices are even higher than Blue. The steaks were nice. But nothing any better than other options with better service. The 20% tip was already added to our bill. Our waitress was wonderful but this didn't warrant 20%. So we tried something new. Not a disaster, but we will not be going back when there are so many other better steakhouse options not that far away.
