    Sticky toffee pudding
    Lynne C.

Pittsburg blue is known for their namesake steak that is completely raw on the inside and charred on the outside. My husband wasn't brave enough for that quite yet but did get an aged sirloin - I'm not a big fan of wet-aged steaks so I opted for the prime rib sandwich. We also ordered table-sized individual sides of the loaded mashed potatoes and creamed corn. The server was great, super sweet, conversational and easy going! The food was pretty standard, nothing too special other than huge. My prime rib was super dry and the creamed corn wasn't that great. The mashed potatoes were really tasty though and my husband said his steak was good for being wet aged. We ended up getting the sticky toffee pudding cause you don't really see that on the menu here in the states but it was pretty disappointing, and also dense and very dry unfortunately.

Who doesn't love date night! Let's start with the service - we made last minute reservations and got in by 5:15, the place filled quickly by 6pm. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated right away. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Never leaving a glass of water half empty. Food- I had the queen cut prime rib, medium. It was cooked perfectly. A good cut of prime rib, what you would expect. Hubby had a cowboy ribeye with espresso/coffee rub - the steak itself was super tender, but I was not a huge fan of the rub. For sides we had loaded mashed - duh... perfection of potatoes covered in cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives.... Heaven! And for the veggies- kung pow veggies, which was a mixed veggie medley with a spicy sauce. It was good but had a little spicy kick. To finish... key lime pie. I am a very picky key lime pie connoisseur , this was smooth, creamy and tart. The size of this slice was huge! It could be shared with more than 2 people! The only downside was the graham cracker crust didn't stick and fell apart.

I have bad experiences in the past with wet aged steaks so i was a bit nervous but it exceeded my expectations. Ordered the sirloin cooked medium as a safe option and it was solid. I now feel comfortable to get a more rare cut (maybe even the Pittsburgh blue) and be satisfied. The mashed potatoes were amazing 5/5! And I like what they did with the creamed corn: it has a nice roasted flavor to it. The french dip was also delicious with the dip itself not being too heavy or dark. The service was the most attentive I've ever been around: top notch from both the server and the busser.

    Crème brûlée. Outstanding!

My service was fantastic. I turned 31 on April Fools' Day (I'm not kidding)! I ordered the pull-apart rolls, crab-stuffed shrimp with lemon herb butter, creamed corn and fries with bernaise sauce. The shrimp was outstanding. The fries were a bit salty, and the creamed corn was sensational. For dessert, I ordered crème brûlée. Such a simple recipe, but Pittsburgh Blue's is one of the best I've ever had. It was a bit noisy, but that's because the restaurant was busy on a Friday night. I would recommend Pittsburgh Blue to anyone looking for a celebratory dinner!

I always have good experience visiting Pittsburg blue, both maple grove or edina location but not this time. The food is great as usual but I am rating three stars for the following reason: 1) I found a piece of black wiggly long hair stirred in the pasta. It was gross. I was trying to flag for attention, which brought to the second point 2) the service was extremely slow. We visit the location during work day after Christmas and the restaurant was not busy. I am not sure if the restaurant was not stuffed properly but we did not see our servers came by very often. After the meal is done, we asked for our bill, it was a wait until the bill come and to gave the credit card right away and it was another long while for the card to be run. The wait time was painful. 3) wish any add on items that with extra charge suggested by the server is called out. I guess we would not order the add on had we known there are extra charge - which is more than the cost of a side.

Located in the popular Maple Grove food/shopping destination. Shares a parking lot with surrounding businesses. I stopped by about a month ago with some friends late evening. It took about a few minutes before someone greeted us in the front check in area. Once greeted we were quickly seated. Service was fast and friendly. Our server brought out some raw steak samples to show us the kind of cuts they were offering. I just wanted a quick bite. I decided to try the jumbo lump crab cakes. It wasn't as jumbo as compared to others. More like medium to large, but not jumbo. To my surprise though, it was delicious. Served with sweet corn purée. Would ok to come back and try other items.

Awesome steaks, great onion rings & good service. Chose this place for our anniversary dinner & they did not disappoint. The mushroom capped filet was so tender & had mushrooms 3 different ways. Their prone rib was great too. We even got a free cheesecake dessert to celebrate!

Went last night for my fiancé's birthday dinner with some friends. Service was great. Missy was our server and she did a wonderful job. The food was really good especially the porterhouse. It was definitely a little pricey, but that is where we are right now. Everything is high, lol

Giving them another try being we had a large gift card to get spent. Everything we ordered was delicious, I started out with a virgin blackberry drink and fiancé had a beer. We shared their chop salad and both got steaks that actually were absolutely to die for flavors and done to perfection and shared the loaded mashed potatoes. Our waiter was very attentive and great but I just don't know that I would say it was worth the cost with tip it cost us our entire $200.00 gift card. Steaks should come with at least 1 side when they are priced at $53.95 and $58.95 and potatoes cost nothing so $12.95 for 2 servings of potatoes is crazy but they get these prices because we will pay it.

I was here for the first time recently for dinner to celebrate my graduation, and overall, I'm quite impressed. The atmosphere is comfortable, classy, but relaxed. Our server Kyle was very friendly, chill, and made us feel at home. The food was in the "very good" range. I had the King's Cut Prime Rib, which was cooked perfectly (and the au jus on the side was perfect), but it felt like it was missing a bit of flavor and came out with a lot of extra "juice" on the plate I didn't care for - 8/10. We also got the asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes to share. Both were excellent -10/10. Their cocktail options are extensive due to their full bar. I got the Butterflies on Saturn. It looked beautiful, but I like my srinks on the sweeter side and don't feel like there was enough passion fruit to balance the gin -7/10. A super sweet touch to the end of the night was they brought out a complimentary cheesecake - 10/10

Pour is in a little strip mall. They have added black curtains and some cozy seating areas from when we were here last. Nice updates. Our waitress was very accomdating until she got busy then we felt we were forgotten. We ordered the Drunken shrimp , bread with olive oil and the avocado toast to start with. The drunken shrimp is just as good as we remember the saffron sauce is sooooo good! but there were 3 of us sharing the apps and it only came with 2 crostini's we asked for a 3rd so we could each have one but little did we know that one very small skinny piece of bread had a $1.00 charge to it. The steak bites with their homemade blue cheese sauce was to die for melt in your mouth!! I even asked if we could buy some of the blue cheese sauce, she said no but that she would bring us another dish of it but she never did. My girlfriend ordered a cranberry mule drink, she was charged an extra $1.00 for the cranberry. We also ordered the goat cheese with sauces that were very delicious with an ample amount of crackers. We got the chocolate Ganache cake to share for dessert. But............ the waitress never took our empty dirty plates but showed up with the dessert with the mess on table, I asked for extra clean plates but she never brought them. Everything we ordered was very delicious, but as the night progressed our service got worse, we asked for the bill but she never came back to get our payment and we had questions my girlfriend walked it up to the bartender with our payments. 2 of us were paying cash and one a credit card and we were charged an extra fee of $5.18 for her using a credit card. That is when we saw the $1.00 charge for 1 piece 3/8" bread and the $1.00 for cranberry mule. Talk about nickel and diming. We would love to go back but unsure if I can get past some of these things. Also, now looking at the bill even closer, none of us had a mimosa and we were charged $8.95 for one.How did we miss that? All added up we paid $16.00 more than we should have. CRAZY!! Sadly, Don't know if I'll be back.
