Had the best server in the word her name was Tori, she was always checking on us and wasn't pushy, she gave us a lot of extra rolls and even when we were about to leave she was like I brought you guys extra rolls, super nice she even made a joke with me saying I brought you a purse lol she was talking about the to go bag but she's was super friendly and funny. As I mentioned in my last review on the tomball location, I decided to try the Conroe location. Everyone was super sweet and some girl even said omg the girls here r so cute! (A.k.a us.) Ordered the Caesar salad but a hunky waiter waiter came instead (still got the delicious salad tho). We made eye contact throughout the meal, I left a number on the receipt as well. My Official go to for steak! I've visited multiple times now and always a great experience. I once literally walk in with near closing and received excellent service with a smile. Greeted with a smile every time... I've master visited when it's least crowded, so I'm always seated quickly with my bucket of peanuts and fresh and hot baked bread. The steaks have always been juicy and cooked to perfection with my side order of loaded mash potatoes. My daughters never get to finish theirs, so there's always take home... Yay! The past five times we have gone to this location have been rather disappointing and truly FAR from legendary. I've been a loyal Roadhouse patron ever since I married one of your front-of-house managers 15 years ago. Last night was the last nail in the coffin for us. The entire order was so bad that we threw the meal away. Let me explain the entire breakdown of failure. 1) The new 3 window pick-up area wasn't explained, and we didn't realize the location went through a new remodel. The pick up was a madhouse, and the person on the phone was very curt. People waiting for tables were standing in front of the to-go windows creating the illusion you were standing in line when there isn't one. The process is so poorly managed, creating such a disorganized, chaotic mess that I will not be subjected to that lack of leadership and service again. I paid for still no food yet... 2) The made from scratch sides were not on point - This was the first time we've ever tasted stale croutons on our salad at TRH. 3) Bacon bits were missing for my baked potato (who's was on expo that night?) 4) My sirloin steak was cooked well done, very well done. I ordered Med Well. It was hard as a leather sole. (again, expo failure...) 5) 1/2 rack ribs were burnt and charred, one rib was consumed rest garbage. Nothing legendary about the ribs last night. 6) The kid's steak was the same way very well done and not good. 7) Clicked yes for utensils - received NONE. and finally, the last failure which was the biggest disappointment. 8) asked for extra rolls - the signature part of the meal - we get a box with 6, for 4 people. Needless to say, after five chances and Rudy's grand opened 3 miles away, we will not be making the 12-mile trek back. HUGE disappointment. read more

Ordered to go from this location and had a lot of missing food in my order when I arrived. It seems like the quality control is not the best with their to go orders. Also called to make a small complaint and get out in hold because they are dealing with other upset customers. Just fix the consistency issues and everybody would be happy. read more

Realizing that times are crazy I believe staff is doing a great job but...... the combo plater I got as a starter was disgusting. Since it was a takeout order I wasn't able to complain. Our 2 meals were great but I would never recommend that pricey little platter of chicken nuggets, I mean wings, snakebites- no self respecting snake would EVER-and the fried dill pickles were just rancid. Hopefully this review will save someone a 10$ mistake. Just go buy some frozen TGIF appetizers. Same quality. This is my favorite steak house, by far! I always get the prime rib, which is always delicious and cooked just the way I like it. The peanuts are nice when I'm waiting for a table. The service is great. Every time I go, I am greeted by a friendly staff. My server always checks in with me regularly. If I ever want a great steak served with a smile, I come here. read more

This is by far the best roadhouse. I've been to one on 1960 and another in king wood. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even near closing time they are amazing and do the most for their customers. I live in humble and the drive is well worth it. I won't go to another Texas Roadhouse even though it is far. There are a few employees that I've noticed have worked there for years. Just proves what a great place this is. read more

Food is ok. We went when capacity was limited to 50%. Refused to sit where we were originally directed in the middle of 100% occupancy. Found a safer seat but were completely surrounded within 20 minutes. Bar was full and many large groups were seated. By the time we left, the place was completely packed. OUTSTANDING! The Mr. and I had 2 perfectly-cooked ribeyes, seasoned so well, we wanted to lick the plate (we didn't). The sides? Loaded baked potatoes, cold, cold house salads on chilled plates, and warm bread with honey butter... like little mouth pillows. Delish! What was over the top? It was our first visit, so a restaurant staff member came over (Morgan?) and gave us a warm welcome, complete with samples of their chili (YUM!) and a goodie bag. I absolutely consider it a treat for my wife and I to come up to Conroe to eat here. We have never been disappointed. It's perfect for families to enjoy nice steak options without mortgaging the house. The food always has a great taste to it right down to the green beans. We always have a coupon for a free appetizer, I would recommend the rattlesnake bites. We never leave hungry. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. There's always a long line to get in but we never have to wait very long at all. Love it! read more

Overall very good, stopped off for dinner on the way back to Houston. Had a 10oz ribeye which was cooked well and tasted very good. Had a house salad and mixed Vegs and mushrooms. Again all tasted good. A bit pricy I thought compared to other steakhouses but overall good food. Very busy on a Thursday evening at 6pm had a 20min wait for a table but if you keep an eye on the bar places open up. So managed to get a place at the bar within 10 mins. Went to Texas Roadhouse for hubbys birthday with a party of 8. Called ahead and reserved a table. We arrived 20 minutes early and checked in at the desk minus one person who was coming from work. The hostess was very annoyed that we were early and that one person was not yet arrived. While we were standing there (they refused to seat us) another party of 8 came in without a reservation. The hostess turned to us and said if your person doesn't come in 10 minutes I am giving your table away. Keep in mind, we are still early! I really do not understand this policy of making us stand there for 20 minutes. We would have ordered drinks and appetizers, but we didn't because we were made to wait and threatened by the hostess. When we were finally seated our waitress was so sweet and accommodating, but the restaurant was so loud that we couldn't enjoy one another. The food was disgustingly salty and my burger was so wet it fell apart. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again. You clearly don't want our money and don't appreciate our party. Very disappointed in tonight's service. It was my sisters birthday, so we decided to go out for a family dinner. We called the restaurant twice today, to confirm they could accommodate us, and they said absolutely. We had 8 people in our party, and i was the last to arrive, only to see they tried to sit us at a 6 top booth. After we complained they agreed to find us another table. We waited about 15 minutes, only to be sat at another table that didn't have enough room. I ended leaving and didn't get to spend time with my family. This is going to sound rude.. But I was told my pick up order would be done by 7:15 ..then at 7:35 my food came. My son's fries were cold. I asked for peanuts 2 times. We love coming here for a good time. There are peanuts everywhere and the rolls are the best. A lot of my friends work here and we're always treated well and promptly. The TVs at the bar are situated where you can see them from most places in the restaurant if you want but the volume is completely off and there are not a lot of them so they are also simple enough to avoid/ignore. My boyfriend and i went over for dinner on valentine's day, i knew they were going to have a long wait since they don't take reservations so i had put myself on the wait list an hour and a half earlier. when my boyfriend and i got there we were told that the waitlist was running a little bit behind, which was understandable since they were super busy and i had no issue with this. as a host i know how these things go, guests get agitated after waiting a long period of time and begin to get frustrated with the FOH. The two hosts outside did an OUTSTANDING job, they were attentive and offered to get the people waiting some rolls and peanuts while they waited. eventually we got a text and we were able to get a table. greeted by ms chelsea, this woman was amazing, super sweet and constantly came up to make sure we were doing alright. My wife received an email concerning an Easter family meal deal. It contained 3 lbs. of prime rib, 1 qt. of mashed potatoes, 1 qt. of green beans, family sized salad, and 12 rolls. All of this for $60! We had to have it! One of the amazing things about the deal was the curb side pickup...very orderly and organized. I was in, I was out with a carload full of food. When I got home, there were easy to follow instructions on how to reheat the prime rib. My family and I were amazed at the juiciness of the prime rib...we cut it with our butter knives! A truly spectacular meal all at an amazingly low price. Fantastic job! read more

Oh Texas Roadhouse. With the awesome butter and rolls I fell in love. For almost 15 years I've been coming here. It all depends on what day and time you go. If you go Friday or Saturday or at 6:00 or later, prepare for bloody steak when you wanted well done. And if you send it back they will bring you back a charred chunk of jerky. I've been numerous times and it was great. But like I said it all depends on when you go. All the teeny bopper waiters and waitresses crack under the pressure of busy night rush. So if you want good food go on a Sunday at 3:00. If you are ok with not getting what you ordered or under cooked meat they just hacked off a cow's ass, go on Friday or Saturday evening.
