It's been a year since our last visit, and the service is still just as amazing. We had the best experience with our server, Joshua, and even the hostess who greeted us was so welcoming. Our appetizer and dinner were prepared exactly to our request and to our satisfaction. Even though the parking lot was full when we arrived, we were still able to find a space. My last two steaks were a disappointment, but today they got it right. I was on my way to legendary when I noticed my CGM was going sky high. They got everything right until then. Best I could tell the server or whomever filled the beverages got Coke Zero and Coke mixed up. This could be dangerous for someone especially diabetics. This is my third time visiting this location since is close to my house. The first time was nice, we were surprised how the meat quality was better than Longhorn or Outback. Second time it's a little bit different, the meat is not as good as the first time. Third time (this time), we ordered medium rare for our steak, but turns out it became medium and almost medium well. But we all enjoyed their free bread and the sweet potato! Redeemed! We decided to try this place again and was glad we did. We arrived on a sunday to a packed place around 6:15. We were told the wait was 15 minutes ans was seated in 10 minutes. We are off to a great start. We were seated in the bar area where we were treated to a dance by the ladies. Also the hostess brought hot rolls and a bag of peanuts in the shell to the table. Last time we were here, they had shirts on that said, "I my job" this time, I believed it. Everyone was happy, cheerful, and helpful. Our waitress Kaitlyn was great throughout the meal. We ordered beer and wine to start and then she had the pork chop with mash potatoes and a house salad. I had the 1/2 rack of ribs, steak fries and a house salad. An old friend of mine came into Buford and offered to take me out to lunch. I conducted some research and decided that Texas Roadhouse would be a good place to visit. Unfortunately, on the day when he came over, I wasn't feeling well, and so I limited myself to a chicken Caesar salad and a soft drink. The salad was pretty good and soothed my temperamental tummy. Our waitress was courteous and prompt, although it was a stretch to say she was "friendly." Will I return to Texas Roadhouse when I feel better? Our server was also hostile, which made the whole visit really uncomfortable. I don't like confrontation, and the anxiety this caused is the reason I didn't leave a tip. I have been to many other Texas Roadhouse locations and most were fantastic. This was not one of those. First off, they took us to a dirty table. We asked for it to be cleaned and then sat down. We ordered steaks and the waitress offered a loaded sweet potato. My friend didn't want all of the stuff, just marshmallows. She failed to tell us it would cost extra and when they did bring it out, it was inedible. They put this weird brown syrup all in the bottom and marshmallows on top of that and it was disgusting. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out closer to blue rare, as did my friend's. We barely got drink refills and when we brought these items to the waitress' attention she argued and said "well of course we charge for that." The point was though that they didn't mention it. After the bad (and rude) service paired with below average food, I don't think I'll be returning to this location. read more

The three ladies hosting were not very friendly, and kept snickering at guests who were waiting to be seated. The heavier set blonde young lady yelled Jesus really loud, Jesus was a Hispanic man who was visibly uncomfortable after this, as well as his wife. I went to the restaurant last Saturday around 3 PM thinking it would be fairly empty, but it's clearly very popular because it was packed!! We got seated right away, though it was my daughter, my friend and myself, and we were celebrating all three of our birthdays that it happened in the last couple of weeks. We got our waiter right away. I think his name was EJ possibly. He had a lot of energy and was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I have not eaten there in a long time because it's not real close to my house, but I'm glad we went. I had a small steak which was plenty for lunchtime and it was really good. I would've liked a little bit of a thicker cut though but that's OK. My daughter and my friend both had chicken dishes and they said their food was really good. Since it was our birthdays, even though they had all passed by a few days to a week, he still brought us the little complementary birthday brownie. Brought my grandkids here for dinner after a roadtrip. The service was fast and friendly and Audrey our waitress was very attentive to whatever we needed.The ambiance is casual with a western decor with music blaring and tvs. Here you will find a varied menu but known for very good steak. I had the "Roadkill" chopped steak with onions and mushrooms which was very good. My grandson got shrimp and chili which he said was very good. My wife got a sirloin and baked potato while my granddaughter got a burger. All in all we were satisfied with the food and service. If you are going to eat here with a gift card, BEWARE! We went in May of 2024 and didn't use all of ours. Fast forward to April 20, 2025. I checked the gift card to see how much was left on it since my husband and I decided we'd go here for dinner tonight. When I checked it, it showed I had a zero balance. I then checked the history of the card and someone used it a week later in June of 2025, and took the balance of it for themselves. Now it was only $17 and change but still. I typically go here on average twice a month. Tonight my wife and I ordered filets cooked medium. Mine came out rare and hers medium rare. Even the server when she saw mine was like oh wow. I think they seared it and pulled it off the grill. Server said she would send out manager but she never came. I had taken a few bites but we had to leave and couldn't wait on another steak to be cooked. I said I'd pay half of my steak. She took off a bit but not even half of one steak. This particular visit I ordered the 8oz NY Strip Medium with loaded mash, Appetizer Sampler ( Rattle Snake Bites, Wings, Potato Skins) and a Cesar salad. The meal also comes with bread and a delicious buttery spread for the rolls. The rattle Snake bites are bomb. Served HOT and filled with cheese. Wings are tasty too, not anything special, but passable, and the potato skins were delicious. On the thicker end but loaded with more toppings to compensate. Everything was delicious!!! I ordered 2 Jamaican Cowboys to drink w/ shooters and they definitely packed the right amount of alcohol. After, I was toasty. I hit my vape in the car and had to wait a while before driving off...Lol.... Service is always FAST, environment is Fun, Food is casual sporty flare with good quality steaks from TX, and the drinks are strong and arrive at the table fast! Texas Roadhouse is a favorite place for my family and we have eaten at numerous locations in several states. I arrived at this location on a Friday night hoping to get a decent meal while working away from home. What I got was an experience that I hope to see repeated at other Texas Roadhouse locations when I visit. I was taken to my booth by a young lady whose name I did not catch but she was polite and friendly asking if I had visited before and if I was familiar with Texas Roadhouse. Her thoughtful questions were a welcome experience compared the usual, "Please follow me" seating routine. My server was Kelsey G. and she was very polite. She offered suggestions about the menu when asked and didn't seem like she was rushing me even though she had other customers to serve. I was VERY impressed at how the entire team of servers worked together to help each other. While Kelsey took my order and continued to check on me, parts of my meal were delivered by other servers. Each server was a smiling, friendly face who ensured the item they were delivering was what I was expecting. The Floor Manager, Allison, stopped by my table to thank me for visiting this location. The conversation didn't feel like an assigned stop to greet the customer before moving on to the next table, it felt like an honest thank you for my patronage. Another server who I felt stood out was a young lady named Eris. She was serving a booth near me but delivered part of my order. She made sure that I was satisfied with my order when she delivered it. Kelsey came by a couple minutes later checking to make sure everything was delivered, and I was satisfied with the food. The food was hot, fresh and tasted good. I should've took a picture, but I ate everything before I thought about it. The level of service from the staff made me feel like I was the sole focus of the whole team on that side of the building even though I observed them treating other tables with the same level of care. The group I had the pleasure of being served by exceeded my expectations tremendously. And the amazing thing to me was that I watched them give this level of service to every table around me. I like Texas Roadhouse because the service is usually better than other comparable chains but I have to say that this is the single best dining experience I have had at any Texas Roadhouse. Impressive is an understatement. I'm sure Texas Roadhouse expects a high level of service from all their staff but this group of servers not only nailed it, they blew past the expectations to a superior experience for myself and others. read more
