Free bread and fried pickle chips.

Overall a great value for what you compared to high end steak restaurants. For instance webers charged $52 for 16oz prime rib where Texas Roadhouse charges $32. Webers is fantastic one of my favorites places in AA, but what you get a roadhouse is pretty good as well and for the value cannot go wrong. I ordered 6oz filet and rib combo for $31 many other steak houses would have the 6oz filet in mid 30's and 9oz in the $40's. I love their complimentary bread and cinnamon butter and free peanuts. We tried their fried pickle chips super thin and crispy really enjoyed those. Service was outstanding they made sure my steak was cooked the way I liked before leaving the table. If you are in the mood for a good quality steak and do not want to break the bank cannot go wrong at Texas Roadhouse.

Tbh this was the best meal I've had so far in Ann Arbor??? We came here on a Friday evening and we had to wait around 30 minutes to get a seat. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance was very casual-- just a good old restaurant to come with friends and family. - Cactus blossom: 100/10 (some of the best onion rings I've had in a while! Super fresh and crispy. The sauce was delishhh) - Porterhouse: 9/10 (decent porterhouse) - Mashed potatoes: 9/10 - Rice: 8/10 - Green beans: 7/10 - Spicy marg: 10/10 (great size and decent spicy marg)

Service was excellent especially as busy as it was on this graduation day. Restaurant was clean with an upbeat atmosphere. Appetizers came to the table quick and tasted great. The burger in the picture was excellent but the prime rib was not edible, extremely chewy. I'd give this restaurant another shot on getting my prime rib right when I'm back in the area. Pricing for 4 with appetizers, drinks was definitely within the average person's budget. Parking was more than plentiful and don't let a full parking lot deter you as there is plenty of seating and well organized if you have to be placed on a waiting list.

Texas Roadhouse in Ann Arbor never disappoints! The complimentary bread, fresh out of the oven, is honestly what keeps me coming back -- warm, soft, and just perfect. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which makes the dining experience even better. I highly recommend the smothered chicken and ribs -- both are packed with flavor and cooked just right. Big shoutout to our host Riley -- she was cute, attentive, and made us feel really welcomed. Great food, great service! Free ample parking

This is a very unique dining experience! Dimly lit and a little loud, but fun! The servers line dance and offer friendly service. The food is pure comfort at decent prices. Believe the hype about the rolls and cinnamon butter!

Not sure what I was expecting but this place was definitely a pleasant surprise. Their unlimited bread and butter was some of the best bread and butter combos I've ever had at a restaurant. Bread was nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Paired with the cinnamon butter? Some of the best you'll ever have. Blooming onion was very typical but did NOT disappoint. Was crispy and their dipping sauce matched it very well. The steaks themselves were very average. I'm not very big in the toppings you can get on them, so if you go I'd say to just get a steak with no toppings. Sides were also just okay, fries were kind of crispy but wish they were a little smaller and more crispy. Mashed potatoes felt like they came out of a bag, they were insanely smooth. Overall I would rate my experience a solid 7.5/10. Come give this place a try it you haven't before!

Come here for the bread :) Those breads are to die for! The steaks were just ok, their cooks had hard time cooking the steaks to how you ordered them, we got medium on all of the ribeye's we ordered, some came out medium rare, medium well and well done. No consistency on how the steaks were cooked. Our waiter was busy working other tables, so didn't see much of him. Took our appetizer order and took our main order when we were done with our appetizers. Reasons for two stars, our dining table was sticky and oily. They need to do better job of cleaning the tables. Even the bread baskets were sticky unfortunately.

I had a wonderful experience thanks to the cheerful and kind employee, (Bristol) she does great job . Thank you for hiring people who truly reflect professionalism and respectful, high-quality customer service.

Chicken was good. The bathroom was a bit small but clean. Service was excellent. Strawberry Lemonade was amazing. Hats off to the manager for taking the time to say hello. No "Kersi". No one has heard of her :)

Half done, have raw (the leftmost cut is a decent rare, the rightmost is raw)

Genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I did not want to cause any problems, but I ordered a rare steak and they brought out a blue rare to raw, so I anxiously asked to have it redone. They brought out a medium at best. I felt terrible and worked up the courage to ask for a new one. It was also raw on half of it. I'm talking, blue, entirely cold meat. The manager was rude to me and was only willing to take $5 off my meal's $35 bill. I really needed this as a pick-me-up and now I'm left feeling worse than I did at the start--plus I'm out $30 + tip for a terrible experience. My waiter was amazing though. Very understanding and helpful.

First time here! The ribeye steak was tender and juicy and I really enjoyed the fries and house salad. The complimentary bread they serve is also really soft and tasty! I wasn't the biggest fan of their raspberry lemonade but overall, the food was great.

Got an order of the kids jr chicken tenders to go, got home and... just look at the pictures. It is honestly comical. Ordered them 60 mins before closing and I don't know if they just assumed "kids meal and it's late so I don't care, toss those old scraps in" but what the heck man. It's gross and just wrong. They covered the "chicken tenders" with fries as well as if to hide them. There's maybe like one chicken nugget worth of meat and the rest is just breading. The rolls were good though.

We grabbed a spot on the waitlist and got here around 4:30pm with a party of 6. Our waitress was running late and we were all pretty hungry. Despite not being able to take tips due to him being a manager, Matt grabbed our drinks and orders accurate and quickly and took care of all our little needs (we brought two little kids). He was kind, patient, professional and we were so so thankful to have him on a busy cinco de Mayo evening. We will 100% come back just because of Manager Matt's excellent customer service.

AMBIANCE = 4 I have read reviews that inside is dated. I am ok with it. The changes going on in Ann Arbor. It is nice to see stability. Be thankful a place weathering city transformation and not closing thier doors. If things get renovated so do the prices. With the price of food... 2. FOOD/DRIINKS = 4 I had Salomon. Other two had White Fish. London Broil. No one had any complaints. Food was well flavored and enjoyed the meal. Beer was Two Hearted on tap. Good. Red wine was house and had robust flavor. 3. SERVICE = 5 Our server was on top of everything. Friendly. Not overbearing. Drinks came in good order as well as food. 4. BATHROOM = 4 Clean and maintained. 5. PRICING = 3 On part for the times we live in. Inflation of the last 4 years created new norms. One area that tends to change is tipping. With wages for michigan getting to $15.00 all that has to play into pricing. So I give cash tips. The whole thing of putting tip pricing on the bill. I think many see it. 1. Brussel sprout appt. $15.00. 2. Meals were $27.00. If you went with steaks things get pricey. But if one follows news the beef herds are being reduced. So days of low cost beef meals are in the past. We just do not eat out as much so when we do it is a treat. 6. OBSERVATION The bar area was full. What I liked for a Thursday night is number of trades people at the bar. Parking is adequate. Not sure what a Friday or Saturday would look like... We were seated at table near bar area. One comment was we would have choose a booth the next time. Noise level in our area was loud. 7. We've been here several times, and it's always a solid choice for a date night. The interior is modern and comfortable, and they have a bar area with TVs. If you're not looking to drink alcohol, they do offer a nice selection of NA beverages. For dinner, my husband got the prime rib, which he said was excellent, and he thinks their mashed potatoes are the best. I ordered the au gratin potatoes, which were very good, and the risotto. The onion rings were awesome, fried artichoke hearts, you can skip... for the burgers, I would recommend you stick to classic - meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions. We all got it med, the meat was juicy as usual and we all enjoyed it. The draft beer that I ordered was flat unfortunately. When we got our check I noticed that there was a "convenience fee 3%", which is applied to your meal prices only. I'm not a fan of convenience fee, if they are trying to offset the credit card charges or adjust their prices due to the inflation or higher material costs, they should just raise their prices to offset those. I also didn't see anything about convenience fee being added, granted if it was in a smaller print so I could have missed it. It seems everyone is adding on convenience fee to everything.

I had heard good things about the food and was looking forward to eating here in addition to the music. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment for me and just about every dish was under-seasoned. The one hit was my wife's branzino, while the one big miss was the red beans & rice add-on to the prix fixe menu - I mean, nobody in NOLA would pay $28 for red beans but if we did I would surely expect more than a few tiny pieces of sausage and to not have undercooked rice and undercooked beans plus need more salt and acid. Brussels were fine but again missing salt and ideally a bit of acid while the pork chop was somewhat fatty but cooked well however other flavors & textures on the plate just weren't very exciting. I would consider coming back to Blue Llama for the right show and the ambience is great, but would probably choose to eat elsewhere. Maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen, who knows but I'm not inclined to return for dinner again.
