There isn't enough I can say about the benefits I've experienced from PT. Less pain, quicker recovery and more mobility are the main benefits I've experienced. The therapy team and staff are amazing. They listen to your concerns and issues and give the correct regimen so that you are able to get back to feeling good. Very knowledgeable and caring team. Very considerate about your safety. Scheduling was easy. Michelle and Haley are awesome! Dr. Menke (Ben), Stacey, Dr. Pepin, Dan, Ryan and Tozer were all great and made sure I got the most out of my time. The place is meticulously cleaned and kept organized. The equipment is high quality and the staff is always ensuring that it is being used appropriately. Info that may help others: Condition: Ankle Tendonitis with prolonged strain. Flare ups would have me out (no walking) for 1-2 weeks. Treatment: stretches, movement, massage and some other methods that were new to me and I had never heard of or seen before but they def worked. Summary: After my time here my recovery time has dropped to 1-2 days and the amount of pain during a flare up is manageable without NSAIDs and I'm even able to get around which was not possible before. I have more stability when walking in uneven terrain which is great! Your mileage may vary but I would definitely recommend TexPTS. Just be sure to stick to the "homework" they give you. read more

I injured my knee while running, it resulted in a strained ligament. My doctor recommended Physical Therapy. I was not sure how that would help an injury, however I was in pain and wanted to at least try therapy. I actually started feeling better as soon as I walked in, such a friendly and helpful staff. One could only imagine how surprised and great I felt after only one visit! The staff was very knowledgeable on exactly how to treat the sprained ligament. After 5 visits I was a 9 almost a 10 on the pain scale. I was doing so well and even went back to my crossfit workouts. I had to start from the beginning there, but I saw improvement. After a couple months I started having pain in the same knee, but in a different part. After a Dr. visit I was diagnosed with Bercitus. Again the recommendation was more therapy. At first I was embarrassed to go back, but again after the first visit I left with far less pain. This time I did not need as many visits and am pretty much back to normal. I have to admit I learned to listen and follow the therapist's directions for exercises at home. I am so blessed to have the experience I had at TPT Leander. Texas Physical Therapy Specialists has been my go-to when I need professional help to recover from back surgery, and more recently shoulder pain and stiffness. Today, I completed therapy at the Leander TX office, and cannot speak highly enough of my therapist, Patrick LaBrode, PT, DPT and the rest of the great staff of doctors, therapists and support staff. Patrick evaluated the issue I was having with my right shoulder and then prepared a program to cover about an 8 week period. He explained how each new exercise is geared to address the issues I was experiencing. As a result, I am happy to report my results as of today. I have full range of motion and control and the pain in my shoulders is also gone. I left with daily tasks which will help me to avoid future problems, and maintain flexibility and strength. Dr. Ben Menke and his team are the best! Dr. Menke listened to all my concerns and asked great questions to figure out the best way to help me. While he is very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of physical therapy and dry needling, he also has a great sense of humor and is easy to talk to. At the front desk, Kelly and Madi were friendly and sweet. They always made me feel welcome. Dan and Joel were the PT assistants and were great to work with too. Both were very friendly and on top of assisting me with completing my exercises during my appointments. During this crazy time of covid, they were very conscious of the cleanliness of the equipment and everyone was required to wear masks. Just 4 weeks out of a total knee replacement I started physical therapy with Dr. Menke at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists in Leander, TX. After just 2 weeks of therapy I have had wonderful success. The entire experience at this location is FABULOUS, starting with the two receptionists, Hailey and Kelly, who ALWAYS greet with a smile on their faces. Dr. Menke really works with me, gradually upping my program for maximum success. Everyone in the office works so well together and the patients and staff become a type of family, encouraging each other along the way. I've been fortunate to have used the services of Texas Physical Therapy Specialists on two occasions: once for neck and back trouble after an auto accident, and more recently to rehab after a knee replacement. The fact that I requested TPTS after the knee replacement says a lot - had I not received exemplary care during my first course of treatment, I would not have returned. Dr. Ben Menke's outstanding therapeutic and leadership skills are evident from the moment you enter until the day your therapy has finished. Every single staff member is well informed, educated, efficient, and effective. Both individually and as a team, they have never failed to exceed my expectations. This is an easy write. I had spinal surgery in May and it was so successful that I wanted my surgeon to fix my lower back too! But he insisted I go through 6 weeks of physical therapy to ensure that surgery was actually necessary. After about a month of treatment the numbness in my legs is gone and the pain has changed to just tightness that feels like it needs stretching. I still have a few weeks of treatment and I expect that tightness will dissipate as well. The only problem is I have to admit to my therapist Carrie and Dr. Jurado they were right all along. Dr. Jan and Carrie are the best. The evaluation and program were both thorough and complete. The didn't just settle for good enough. During the course of the therapy program they helped me to understand how I had been getting around some issues and began the process of teaching me how to correctly move and at the same time gain strength in my legs , hips and low back. I'm in week 3 of therapy and Dr Andrew Pepin has been with me throughout the journey. He and the rest of the staff are absolute professionals and treated me with compassion and genuine concern during my recovery from hip surgery. I have had therapy for a shoulder injury. Dr. Jan and the staff were always checking for my pain level and making sure that I continued to get better. Amazing staff, and Therapists. After taking part in the Military's version of Physical Therapy I was a bit skeptical. However, after two hip surgeries, they walked me through everything I needed to make sure I recovered smoothly. My L4, L5 and S1 are ruptured and my doctor sent me to Texas Physical Therapy Specialists to help build my core. In the 7 weeks of physical therapy I can now get back to a normal life doing things that I could not do before. They also sent me home with the tools needed to continue working on my core. I went to Texas Physical Therapy Specialists for a knee injury from snow skiing. Ben Menke did the initial evaluation which was very thorough, and asked how the knee was doing at each visit, he would also take my comments in a collaborative manner. I went to the TPTS in Leander and Ben was my therapist. I went there in pain. They were kind and empathetic. They quickly pinpointed my problem and got to work ever conscious of my abilities.
