I'm rehabbing two new knees (replacements). I started with another PT - they were ok but that place fumbled my appointments (erased them all) twice causing me to look elsewhere. I got many recommendations from my neighbors about One on One and they were so right. I get 30 minutes of knee manipulation from one of the main people then 30 minutes with technicians doing appropriate exercises. It's working really great for me. I'm so glad I changed. Ps. One on One Physical Therapists gave me optimal results for two knee replacements, each gaining 135° range of motion, stability, and capacity for active exercise that I needed. Office scheduling and insurance is seamlessly managed by Wanda, while providing a welcoming atmosphere. The knowledgeable and supportive PTs and technicians make going to One on One a pleasure! After a first, failed knee replacement, I needed to find a different surgeon and PT for my left knee revision, and right knee replacement. Patients as well as surgeons need as much information as possible to prepare for successful outcomes. I asked both both surgical practices which PT practice produced the best results; both answered "One on One". I scheduled their physical therapy for the first day after left knee replacement revision (9/22/2022), and following right knee replacement (3/6/2023). Scott, Rocky and Ariel provide outstanding care. Scott, my main physical therapist, has a mechanical engineer's anatomical understanding of movement, remembering where each knee was in its healing process from prior sessions. One on One adheres to a protocol of manual muscle therapy and joint bending. By the end of each manual therapy session my knees are noticeably less stiff, and more flexible. Their standard manual therapy for 30 minutes/session, is double the time and effective benefit of other practices I experienced. Proscribed exercises are adjusted by the PTs and taught by technicians as healing progresses. My range of motion made careful and steady progress. Scott gave exercises to maintain 135° range of motion for both knees, and to reduce stiffness. After 12 years of soreness, and shuffling, with a few dramatic falls, I now confidently enjoy daily long walks, swimming, and standing for hours at a time to do my work. The place seems to have changed and it's management and it's school and providing excellent physical therapy. It appears to focus more now on volume and obtaining more clients than in providing the One On One Physical Therapy advertised in its name. Inspired for repeated requests, the establishment even failed and something is simple as sending by email promised exercises were a requirement from its physical therapist. A few other reviewers have said it, but I'll repeat: five stars aren't enough. Over the past 18 years, I've seen no fewer than 10 physical therapists, all of whom take zero to get to know their patients and seem to treat everyone as a number. Because of this, I've stayed away from PT as I've generally viewed it as a waste of time and money. After my doctor recommended Scott and his team at One on One, my thinking has changed. Consummately professional, courteous, on time, affordable (and the list goes on), Scott has taken immense time to learn the causes and potential solutions for my degenerative spinal condition. Not one doctor or physical therapist in EIGHTEEN YEARS has shared some of the insight that Scott has shared in four short weeks. He's also actually listened and processed the concerns and feedback I've shared (as opposed to making assumptions and hurrying to get to the next patient). Scott really cares that you get better and he takes the time to find out why you're in pain and what will work best on your particular issue. He also empathizes with you if the particular exercise or technique causes momentary pain. He reassures you that pretty soon you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel and be cured. The location is convenient as well as the hours. The staff is superfriendly and he has trained them well. As someone else stated, I hope to never have reason to return but if I ever have to go through physical therapy again, it will be with Scott. I started seeing Amy Trujillo after almost a year of chronic migraines. I'm overall super healthy and take really good care of myself. I've suffered from migraines all of my life, however, with on-again-off-again years of symptoms. I hadn't gotten them for a few years until the end of yoga teacher training. I was working on headstands and must have compressed something or somehow re-triggered the response. One day I just started getting them again and for the rest of the year I'd have them at best - 2 to 3 times a week and at worst - up to 4 times a day. They start with ocular distortion - a small moving blur that grows larger until I become totally blind. Then the right side of my body becomes paralyzed although I've learned how to work through the physical ramifications so I can still have some control over my movement. I lose the ability to spell check or understand grammar. The symptoms will last for at least an hour although I'll feel "off" for about 24 or so. For-better-or-worse I learned how to work through them, often without people I'm talking to even knowing I can't see their face, feel my right hand, or know that I'm having speech difficulties. It became such a part of my life I learned to work through it. Mind you I watch my caffeine, control my stress, eat vegan, exercise daily and take excellent care of my body. So all other causes were eliminated and I genuinely figured it was just "part of me" and I'd live like that forever. I was resigned to it. Then I moved back to Salt Lake, connected with Amy through a mutual friend, and she started giving me myofascial cranial release treatments. Since the second time she worked on me - I haven't gotten one migraine. It's been over a month. I was literally scared to write a review or even tell her it was better because I didn't want to jinx myself. I'm so, so used to the sinking feeling in my stomach of first seeing a "sunspot" and then quickly identifying it as the vision apnea, and knowing my body would start shutting down soon after. I'm genuinely less depressed and anxious also, living in a body that's your enemy is scary and isolating. Amy assures me that if symptoms do flare up again we can have a touch-in treatment and it'll get better. In over 30 years of suffering from migraines (when I was a kid doctors thought I was stroking out) I've finally, finally found relief. I'm not even kidding - Amy is a modern-day magic woman and I can't thank her enough for making me feel safe to drive, work, play or be happy. After trying a few PTs for my daughter, I found this team via great reviews. I was not disappointed. They listen very carefully on what exactly the problem is, how the injury occurred and information you have from your orthopedic physician. Additionally, the entire group is really friendly, all the way from the front door to back room. This place is Awesome! Scott and his staff are wonderful. I twisted my ankle and fell on my right knee where I had a hairline fracture 20 yrs ago. Scott has been working on the scar tissue that formed and fixing my 2 swollen ankles. He has magic fingers - I feel like a new person after his myofascial work. I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. A year ago, she had some radiating neck pain and associated muscle spasms, and she was referred to another physical therapist. She did a bunch of activities, and eventually, her pain went away, but no real diagnosis was ever made. Fast forward to a year later, and the neck pain returned worse than ever. This time, however, another physician referred her to One On One Physical Therapy, and what a difference. They took the time to do an evaluation on the first visit so they could really diagnose what was wrong. On the second visit, she saw significant progress, and the progress continued with each subsequent visit. Scott really takes time with each of his patients, and he obviously knows what he's doing. My wife feels a ton better now, and she also knows what she can do to keep the pain from coming back in the future. Recommended! read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. I had AC issues with my shoulder that made it impossible to work out with weights. The pain lasted for months and months with no improvement. I began to get depressed and horribly out of shape. My first appointment Scott told me he could have me back in the gym in six weeks...I thought he was crazy or woefully underestimating my injury, but four weeks later I am almost completely pain free and have returned to the gym using light weights. Scott's knowledge of shoulder anatomy and feel for treating injury has been masterful and I truly thank God I found him and One on One PT. Their entire staff has been very friendly and professional. Simply said, this place is phenomenal! After diagnosis by an Orthopedic Surgeon that the pain in my shoulder is caused by arthritis and a bone growth, I was referred here. He said surgery was not an option to correct the issue, but PT would probably help. Scott does the physical manipulation of the joint and soft tissue which has helped significantly to reduce the pain and increase range of motion. Wanda at the front desk is always energetic, smiling, and friendly. Every one of the technicians here are also super helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend. Receptionist were very friendly but there's really no good reason why the receptionist do not know what insurances the clinic accepts. They are answering the phone with the intention to schedule new clients but are having to tell people they're unsure what insurances they accept and asking to have a manger call back. Everyone is super polite, friendly, and goes out of your way to help you with whatever you need, every time you encounter them. As a physician, i am familiar with both the practicioner and the patient side, and as a patient, i can honestly say that it will be hard to find a therapist who is more knowledgeable, helpful, and kind (including his staff) than one on one physical therapy. This physical therapy place is hands down the best in town. I have had 2 spinal fusions and also neck surgery and Scott and his staff have helped me recover and get stronger each time. They don't push you to workout or lift heavy weights like some places do. Believe me, I have been to 2 other places and decided if I wanted to build muscle, I would join a gym. This therapy place gives you individual one on one attention of at least 20-30 minutes and also let you lie on heat to manage pain. Other places in the area don't give you that much time with the PT and just want you to workout. Scott and his staff treat each person like family and with the upmost respect.
