I highly recommend FYZICAL to anyone looking for PT, especially athletes. Kylie guided me through…read morerehab for both a shoulder sprain and an ankle sprain during my competitive roller derby season, ensuring I was able to compete in two tournaments despite a tight turnaround from injury. She put so much thought into curating a program that addressed the specific physical demands of my sport, and she adapted each session based on where I was that day and what my goals and timeline were moving forward. Even when I sustained a secondary ankle sprain mid-recovery, I was still able to go into tournaments feeling strong, stable, and confident thanks to her preparation. She educated me on taping techniques, warm ups, and recovery strategies. She genuinely takes the time to understand athletes and programs in a way that supports your specific performance needs, not just general recovery. In addition, their office staff was incredibly helpful from my first phone call, walking me through insurance, explaining my coverage, and outlining costs before I even scheduled an appointment. Throughout my treatment, they made the administrative side of things a breeze. I am so grateful for the care I received and would absolutely return for any future PT needs.

OMG let me just say that she knocked me off my feet with her attentiveness, her patience and honest desire to help me! She even got Kylie, one of the PT's on the phone to talk to me about my pain and if they'd even be able to help me....mind you, I wasn't even a patient yet, I was just thinking about setting up an appointment, if I felt they could help me. With my pain as it was, they even wiggled me in to be seen on Christmas Eve!!! These people are hands down the most impressive PT clinic I've had the pleasure to deal with. Call these folks, without question, don't even waste your time going anywhere else. Can't wait for my first appointment!

I cannot say enough about the excellent staff and their one-on-one, very skilled, expert, and professional Physical Therapy sessions. They can help with any areas you are having challenges with- whether hips, feet, back, or any area of your body. They literally kept me walking until I had surgery and then afterwards helped me recover quickly. It is so important to go to PT and THIS is the ONLY place I can recommend! Greg (Dr. Greg House, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT Board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist) is amazing and kind. Fiona has "magic" fingers that take away issues (a type of release). His guidance through my recovery has been one of the key components to my success. The emotional support has buoyed my spirits and allowed me to set expectations for my progress that seemed so far out of reach when we started but have been realized along the way. As you would expect, the office is clean and easy to access with ample parking. The one-on-one therapy is personal and I never feel on display which was especially important to me when this started and I was far from my best self. I highly recommend Spine and Sports.

Frankly, I was very hesitant about starting PT. I appreciate that Leila took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. She let me know that Outcomes Therapy accepted my Medicare and Tricare for Life. She also confirmed that I could select my PT therapy with Dr. Joseph Carneglia at their San Antonio location. After speaking with Leila, I drove to the San Antonio location to see the facility. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained. The front desk staff were very helpful, and they introduced me to Dr. Joseph Carneglia. This is a well-run business, from the Austin staff to the San Antonio staff. I knew after meeting Dr. Joseph Carneglia that this was the place and person I would pick for physical therapy. It has been such a great choice.

As an 82 year old, I wasn't sure what improvement could be made at my age, but I made weekly progress through his care and exercises. He knew exactly what I could tolerate at that particular day and patiently worked with me for a year. I am so much stronger. I have experienced Phys. Therapy at other places, but this was by far the best place. One receives individual care given by a very knowledgeable individual and is not handed off from one person to the next. The scheduling was adapted to accommodate mine, and the whole atmosphere is very conducive to success.

Somehow or other, I managed to injure my elbow. While I waited several months hoping my lateral…read moreepicondylitis (aka "tennis elbow") would heal on its own, I ended up going to an orthopedist who recommended Endeavor. This Endeavor location is in a small strip shopping center and is easy to miss. Inside, you'll find a welcoming environment and trained professionals who address your physical/occupational therapy needs. Individuals are specialized to treat the area of concern, so you'll likely end up with the same person every time. In my case, an intern also handled treatment, under supervision of course. Everyone, including those at the reception desk, is friendly and warm. Covid19 precautions taken are reasonable and appropriate. Because this is a smaller and well-reviewed business, it may take some time to get an appointment. I recommend booking several appointments at a time if you need your visits spaced weekly or more frequently.

I have been coming to Integra for different issues since 2016. I started coming when I had bad back…read morepain while pregnant with my youngest child. I was certain I had a slipped disc or something, but the doctor recommended physical therapy. I was skeptical, but determined to do my due diligence. After coming for six weeks though, I am now a huge believer in PT. The therapists were able to get me relief and teach me how to do exercises that were safe for the baby and helped ease my back pain. In 2017 I came for knee issues after overtraining for the cap 10k. I came again this past year when I developed bursitis in my hip. Each time I have been injured I visit until I have consistent relief and then I discontinue therapy sessions and continue the work at home. I have only had to come the full six weeks once (that was when I was pregnant). Integra is totally cool with this because the whole point of PT is to get better. They don't pressure you to add extra unnecessary sessions. The first visit is an evaluation where they take a look at your issue, test range of motion, ask you about your pain levels and determine a treatment plan. Different injuries require different levels of treatment, more severe issues could result in multiple visits a week but most of mine have been once a week. After the eval, sessions usually consist of a 30 minute exercise session where a therapist walks you through good exercises you can do to strengthen your body in the area where you're injured and making sure you don't end up with any compensatory injuries. The second half of the session is usually some form of physical manipulation, for example, when I had bad back pain the second half was the therapist working out the tension in my upper back muscles. I would call it massage but it was not relaxing. It did, however, (eventually) result in relief of pain. I recently brought my 10 year old in for a knee injury and learned she has hyper mobile joints and weak hip adductors which can be a risk factor for injuries, so we will be working on strength and stability. I highly recommend Integra!
