For over 2 years I struggled with persistent right hip pain that impacted every move I made. I developed compensatory movement patterns that resulted in even more pain and muscular imbalances. I highly recommend Swapnali Chaudhary at Quintessense Physical Therapy At the suggestion of my primary care doctor, I started seeing Swapnali Chaudhary in June. She has been treating me for an overused shoulder muscle and stiff neck. The condition was extremely painful. I was concerned about driving safely because of the poor range of motion in my neck. She took considerable time getting to know me and learn about my current issue. We discussed my activity level, my concerns about regaining mobility and my past history with physical therapy. Our conversation was positive and relaxed. She answered all my questions carefully and thoroughly. She quickly established a care plan and focused on relieving my pain. In subsequent visits, she has focused on providing me with an exercise plan to strengthen muscles that have not been as active in my upper body as they should be. I was referred to Swapnali Chaudhary, PT, MSPT at Quintessence PT after not seeing results at a different provider with their pelvic floor therapy plan. I had bad anxiety before sessions and was generally uncomfortable going to the appointments. My sessions with Swapnali are relaxing and nothing like what I experienced during previous pelvic floor therapy sessions. One reason is she is also following Neuro-Kinetic Physiotherapy techniques during my session. This has absolutely changed everything. I was first diagnosed with pelvic pain, kidney stones and then pilonidal cyst. Right after the initial consultation I realized that this could work for my chronic pain. I was neglecting certain symptoms to the point where I could get back pain just by sitting at a spot for more than an hour. It took me 3 babies to finally seek out postpartum pelvic floor therapy. My diastasis recti (long and deep) was bothering me and needed to do something about it. Came across this office on Google and decided to give it a shot. So glad I did! I'm still getting treatment once a week, but my muscles are working so much better now, and already seen improvement in depth. The therapist takes a whole body approach, so I've seen improvement in other areas as well (low back pain, tightness, pelvic floor discomfort, and more). Amazing results. Neurokinetic Therapy is new to me. I am unbelievably so much better since I have been going to therapy. I actually was thinking that my hip was broken and I was walking from my bedroom to my kitchen with a walker. Now in most instances I rarely bother to use a cane. I had severe shortness of breath, which has greatly diminished. Even though my cardiologist and had been blaming it on each other for over a year. I had pain in my neck for years and was attending physical therapy sessions in many different places. Dr. Swapnali Chaudhary is amazing. I haven't felt so good in my whole body for a long time.
