You need rehab? Go to these guys…read more One year after undergoing two knee replacement surgeries and I've spent the morning enjoying a hike in Spicewood Valley Trail. This would not have happened without the care, education, and attention given to me by Round Rock Rehab before and after surgery. My appointments with Matt began several weeks before surgery, building up strength in preparation--and if your surgeon hasn't recommended doing this, ask them about it. He spent a lot of time with me during our appointments and helped me to understand why and how I should be continuing to train in between our sessions. After the surgery, we picked up right where we left off -- and it felt like I was able to do more, more quickly, because of that prep time. Matt very patiently walked me through not just an escalating set of strength exercises but a wide variety of exercises that built up and supported full-body strength development and health. If I reached a plateau, he worked me to find a path forward that got me gaining strength again. If I had experienced irritation or pushed myself too far, he sorted me right out with rest and a mini-treatment plan. No matter where I was in my recovery cycle, he was right there with me. And if Matt was out for a time, I got the same high-quality support from Brad and Michelle. ...and the entire team of assistants! Mike and Serena and...well, just everyone made me feel like I wasn't just someone coming in...I was part of an extended family where everyone's purpose was to help me recover. Once my sessions were complete, I was sent off with a plan--and tons of information--for how to continue getting stronger.  I can't say enough about this team. They are truly wonderful, absolutely cared for my well being, and get my highest recommendation.

Over 20 years ago, when I graduated from cosmetology school, I asked one of my mentors what advice…read moreshe would give someone just starting out. Without hesitation she said, "Get a massage every month." I've followed that advice ever since, and I've been a member here for the past 15 years. As a hairstylist, my body is my livelihood. Standing for long hours and working with my arms all day takes a toll, and I truly believe these massage therapists have helped me continue doing the career I love. Their skill, professionalism, and genuine care have kept me feeling my best so I can continue showing up for my clients. I'm incredibly grateful for this team and everything they do. Investing in regular massage has been one of the best decisions I've ever made, and this place has been an essential part of my wellness journey. I highly recommend FYZICAL to anyone looking for PT, especially athletes. Kylie guided me through…read morerehab for both a shoulder sprain and an ankle sprain during my competitive roller derby season, ensuring I was able to compete in two tournaments despite a tight turnaround from injury. She put so much thought into curating a program that addressed the specific physical demands of my sport, and she adapted each session based on where I was that day and what my goals and timeline were moving forward. Even when I sustained a secondary ankle sprain mid-recovery, I was still able to go into tournaments feeling strong, stable, and confident thanks to her preparation. She educated me on taping techniques, warm ups, and recovery strategies. She genuinely takes the time to understand athletes and programs in a way that supports your specific performance needs, not just general recovery. In addition, their office staff was incredibly helpful from my first phone call, walking me through insurance, explaining my coverage, and outlining costs before I even scheduled an appointment. Throughout my treatment, they made the administrative side of things a breeze. I am so grateful for the care I received and would absolutely return for any future PT needs.

With my pain as it was, they even wiggled me in to be seen on Christmas Eve!!! These people are hands down the most impressive PT clinic I've had the pleasure to deal with. Professional, friendly, respectful, attentive, and courteous. My physical therapist, Jacob Martin,…read moreevaluated an ongoing problem that was causing me to lose sleep every night and... fixed it. He was very careful to explain his approach to me, including the importance of trying one potential fix at a time. He constantly monitored my pain levels and taught me about what I needed to change to get better as well as how my body works. I gained self understanding and awareness that will serve me well in the future. Their hours are broad - the earliest therapist starts at 7:15, while others come in at 9am and stay until 6. The reception and staffing, on the other hand, like almost all doctors' offices, was less than stellar. They're very regular about calling patients the day before to remind them about their upcoming appointment, which is great. I did have some problems with billing, however, including an attempted double charge, and the receptionist who said my referral "had not arrived" when it was sitting in their inbox. Their computer system seems problematic. The experience was still a positive one. If my problem ever recurs, or if I have a new concern that this therapist can treat, I will certainly come back, and would recommend him.

Located not actually in SNW, but in the building next door, this physical therapy facility seems pretty well equipped for the treatment of all sorts of injuries. Lots of gym-like equipment, some weighted balls, private curtained treatment areas, a cool computer machine with lots of attachments for simulation of different life skills, ultrasound machine to deliver deep heat, and hot/cold packs to alleviate pain/relax muscles and whatnot. The only thing missing, I think, is a pool and hot tub. Wendy is an occupational/hand therapist , so she's been working on/with me for the rehabilitation of my elbow. Our sessions always start with a hot pad on my elbow, then Wendy manipulates my elbow into positions that it certainly doesn't want to go into. Which sucks. A lot. Again, for my own good. After that, she likes to mix it up, which I like, because I'd get bored with the same thing time after time after time. She has a pretty decent knowledge of how my insurance works and is very conscientious about the number of visits I have remaining, making the most out of each one. On the down side, Wendy is a REALLY busy lady, so scheduling can be a bit of a hassle. I've taken to scheduling a couple months out, knowing that I can cancel, if I miraculously get better faster than anticipated. Who am I kidding, I'd expected to be way better than I currently am at this point. No more timeline anticipation here. On the up side, with Wendy's help, I've made considerable progress in my recovery. When I first started, I couldn't extend my arm past a 90 degree angle. I don't have full extension yet, but it's much, much better. We're working on flexion which has been a torturous process. It'll get there. Eventually. AND I CAN WASH MY HAIR WITH BOTH HANDS NOW!
