I would basically float back to my car after our sessions. Her intake process was very thorough and covered any previous conditions or physical problem areas I had, but also covered what was going on with me mentally and emotionally and my personal stress levels. Her treatment approach was a solid balance between medicinal and holistic. We did a Human Design session once, before an acupuncture session, I enjoyed learning more about myself. We also did cupping once, too. I call her a mystic because of how amazing I felt after each session. She's fantastic and I highly recommend seeing her if you have any persistent issues or just need to deepen your own self care. I can't wait to see her again.

I am not the same person I was when I started. Each treatment is slightly different depending on what I come in with and I am always amazed by what it is I feel during and after a treatment. Audrey does an amazing job at listening to what it is I share and she supplements a treatment that boost my healing with whatever it is I am feeling physically and/or emotionally. This includes a wrist surgery and shoulder pain from work overuse (I'm a massage therapist). I also really enjoy the nuggets of Chinese medicinal wisdom she drops in during my treatments, they give me something to conceptually grasp and a sense of relief, that what I am feeling is all part of a bigger picture and that I am okay. Whether you are a newbie or a veteran to Chinese medicine, I highly recommend seeing Audrey if you are leaning towards acupuncture treatment. She has helped me tremendously with clearing old, energetic blockages that kept me in a sluggish, depressed state for years. If you are new to acupuncture and are curious about it, then I suggest trying one of the community nights. This was my first treatment. When I felt the cooling sensation arise over my lungs (this is where grief is stored in the body) is when I decided to make my first individual appointment. The experience at community night opened my door to the benefits of Traditional Chinese medicine.

They were able to get me an appointment for an hour long massage within half an hour of calling the place! The place is clean and has multiple massage rooms, so it is suitable for larger parties as well. The massage itself was good, however the therapist did not speak English so communication was a little difficult. However she did respond well to cues and gestures and was very attentive overall! The use of hot stones was a plus. The technique seemed a mix of Thai and Swedish strokes, so it is not a place if you are looking for deep tissue/trigger point relief kind of work. The prices are very reasonable given that this place is very new ($50!!). They have a good deal going on if one is looking for a foot massage combo (I believe $27 or so) and also a Groupon online. I would come back for the price and if I need a last minute massage appointment.

I stopped by on a whim this Monday afternoon after my morning workout and lunch and decided to get the grand opening special combo massage. It being $26 for an hour for your head, arms, back and legs/feet was so great and just the right amount of pressure. I was so sad to have to realize it was over and an hour had passed, I mean that's the best right? Standard Asian massage place where you get your feet soaked, rub down and then hot towel at the end. The rooms are clean, minimalist decorated, dimly lit and the guy massaging me was great at what he did. I can't wait to go back. Ps. bring cash to tip your masseuse!

I've tried several therapists during a time of severe, constant pain…read more Out of desperation, I kept going from one person to another, every time I left a session without feeling any better than when I felt going in. Devon was the only one who was able to provide a quick and significant reduction in pain from the very first session. I had a noticeable increase in my range of motion which he told me upfront that he'd be very surprised if I didn't get at least that. In fact, he was the only one who had the confidence to tell me that I would feel better before I left, whereas the others I tried, just said "they hope so and that was the goal, but everyone is different@ is what I essentially would get told. Devon was different. He had a confidence in what he was doing and knew his skill well enough to be so confident in his response to my question or does he think he'd be able to reduce the pain and increase my range of motion. His approach was unlike anyone else. It wasn't painful like the others. There was some pain involved but nothing like m the kind you feel when someone does deep tissue and they're really digging in. It was tolerable and very quickly resulted in relief. It was like magic the way he worked on me and was able to quickly create a release in a gentle way. I don't know how else to describe it honestly. It blows me away because I've never seen anyone with this kind of understanding of the body. Anyway, I can't say enough. Oh! Another thing that took me by surprise is how he wasn't trying to sell me on a package or multiple visits. Everyone I've gone to struggled to tell how effective their session would be and instead, they'd assume and tell me upfront that they'd have to see how many sessions I need to get things under control and that we'll just have to go with the flow and see how I do after each session. In their defense, assuming the best of intentions, they probably didn't know because they are providing out of the box traditional training for massage therapy which generally requires multiple sessions over a few weeks. The problem with that is your body will probably heal on its own over a few weeks anyway. So I don't see the value in that prolonged approach. With Devon, when I was done, I had to ask him when he needs to see me again, he said I shouldn't have to come back and see him. But in case I unexpectedly needed to, he let me know what was his next available appointment. He was that confident. He went into it with the best intentions knowing that with my particular condition, he could likely take care of my needs from the first visit. I instantly realized why he's so busy. He's the most trustworthy and effective guy I've ever ran across. I really can't say enough. He's worth his weight in gold! Thanks so much Devon!

I have been receiving, and giving body work for twenty years, and this This is some of the best…read morework that I have received. And I am extremely picky and particular about who I choose to use as a body worker since I work in the field myself. I was experiencing intense neck pain when turning my head as well as wrist pain and tightness from a scapholunate ligament tear.  As well as and some overall muscle soreness from working out, and trouble falling asleep. After only one session though, the next day I was able to turn my head without any tightness or pain and to put pressure on my wrist without pain or soreness also.  Functionally, I was even able to do skull crushers with weights and tricep front bar presses without pain in my wrists, which I haven't been able to do in over a year without sharp pain and my wrists completely failing on me. And my sleep has improved and anxiety decreased as well. Devon's calm and peaceful energy in itself is very relaxing and soothing, and his knowledge of the body and application of Shiatsu acupressure points and Chinese medicine is unique and incredible.  I would highly recommend him and Tao Health Clinic to anyone for relief from pain or in need of healing.
