My dog decided to go on a hunger strike while we were gone, and the staff texted me asking me if there was anything they could add to his food or any other options like pumpkin or yogurt they could give him to make sure he ate. When he continued to refuse food but was otherwise doing okay, they let a friend of mine stop by and visit him and bring chicken for them to add to his food. The chicken was a success. They kept in touch by text the whole time, and this gave me peace of mind while I was 2k miles away. Also, when my flight was delayed 7 hours, they accomodated him for an additional night I hadn't booked. I have boarded at other places and I haven't had any other place pay this close attention to my dog and how he was doing. (And now I know when I board him to send chicken! :) )

We received a text from Jan letting us know that the girls were all ready for pickup. We arrived to find three very clean, fluffy, and happy pups! His last grooming experience about 4 months ago by someone else resulting in him coming home still damp, like he hadn't been brushed, his paws not trimmed and his nails jagged with one of his dew claws split and bleeding. I hesitate to take Liam to places where he will be around other dogs because we are still working on his reactivity to other dogs. I decided I would try mobile grooming although it was pricier than I would like. I reviewed multiple mobile groomers and Luxe Hounds price point aligns with others and they had great reviews so I made my choice. My appointment was scheduled for around 12pm. I received a text letting me know they would be late because of an older dog taking more time than expected and offered to reschedule if needed. I opted to keep the same day since I was available all day. I received an update that they were able to make it to me by 1pm. I appreciated the communication and updates. Liam came back to me looking and feeling amazing! His paws and nails look so clean and neat. He was fully dry and I can tell he was brushed out well and blown out because I was rubbing and petting him for the rest of the day and there was ZERO shedding. Overall it was worth every penny! I will definitely be using Luxe Hounds again. Thank you!
