Ollie has been in for grooming before and we have had great results- they are easy and convenient with scheduling and work with me to get the cut we want. So we decided to try them for boarding as well- they were so helpful and welcoming at check-in, they took time to answer all my questions and never made me feel like any were silly (He's our baby after all!). After talking to the staff for a bit I felt confident that they truly cared about the animals staying there and he wasn't just a number. They even have cameras we could tune in to and see what the dogs were up to. Ollie was bathed and groomed at the end of his stay, and they called to let me know as soon as he was ready. When I picked him up they were telling me all about his stay, how he adjusted, etc... I really love how they care about the dogs, it shows!

You can truly tell they care -- I have an extremely shy fur baby and they have taking the time with him to slowly introduce him to new friends and not only do they give me updates on how he's doing but they take pictures and you can just see how happy he is! We have had a wonderful experience at Camp Bow Wow up until about 6 days ago, and we will NOT be returning. I dropped my French Bulldog off at daycare around 9am and picked him up around 2pm. Upon arrival, they brought him out and I noticed he was panting and breathing way harder than normal. I had never seen him breathe like this before. I was scared and asked the female staff member if she could bring out some water. She brought him water and then ended up bringing him a fan and wet towel to wrap him up in. I told the staff members that I was afraid he was over heating and going to have a heat stroke. They seemed unconcerned about it, and acted like this was normal since he is a frenchie. They never called me to inform me that he was over heating, and they didn't bother to take his temperature when I picked him up either. This is my biggest fear with having a short nose pup is him dying from a heat stroke. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet. $1,300 later ...they had to do blood work and hold my baby in an oxygen tank for 12 hours. The medical report showed that his temp was higher than normal and he was also dehydrated. I called the camp and emailed 4 TIMES OVER THE LAST 6 DAYS with no response from the camp director. I told them I wanted to see the tapes time stamped with how long he was playing in the out door yard. They claimed he wasn't outside at all and that he was "playing too hard" which I call BS. My dog lovessss being outside. Also, they say that the indoor play area is 74 degrees at all times but they leave the door open all day long. How is it 74 degrees if yall leave the door open all day long ? I have attached 2 pictures below. One) With the door being left open and my baby is in the orange collar. Two) With my baby in the oxygen tank at the emergency vet. He was also with the big dogs all day. If y'all noticed him playing to hard and getting exhausted why didn't y'all move him with the smaller dogs? A 45 pound frenchie doesn't need to be left with bigger dogs. I have requested compensation and the name of their insurance company. Camp Bow Wow, do something about this and make this right and I will change this review. This was completely unacceptable. We both know what happened here, and it was negligence on your end. I'm EXTREMELY concerned about all the other short nosed pups that you guys have in your care. Had I picked my dog up a few hours later he would have been dead on your watch!

Per 'the lady' - "your dog became anxiety & bit his tongue".... that's a lie (she was lying to much, she couldn't even talk right!), my dog does not have anxiety and we've never been told by ANY groomer that we have an ANXIOUS dog. 'The lady' even went so far to say he bit his tongue and we tried calling both of you! Lies, Lies, Lies!! Not a single missed call or message on my phone! The lady even went so far to say you can bring them back....WHAAAAT! FOR WHAT!?! JUST GIVE ME A REFUND $175.00. I'm not letting anyone from FIDO rough them up again!     ONLINE I booked an appointment for our medium size dog for…read moretoday at 10:00 with a specific groomer. Our pup was brought in a bit before 10:00. The girl at the front couldn't get our phone number correct or what service we had asked for. This was to be our 3re time here. Everything on line was confirmed when I booked the appt. Fast forward 2.5 hours. No notification that Toby was ready. No text, call or email. When we started to call after 1.5 hours there was no answer. Just a recording. We continued to try to connect also by text- per their website . My husband finally went down to get Toby - when he got there he was told- they were behind and hadn't gotten to him yet. Unacceptable- no phone call advising, not answering the phone for over an hour- unacceptable, and then to boot - usi g the excuse they were behind. I'm not sure how that's except able when for that groomer Toby was the first one at 10:00. And not even an apology. 2.5 hours of him being in a cage. Ignored. And no communication. Then I get a text that my appt was cancelled. They have a policy that they charge without a 24 hour notice. I have a good mind to send them an invoice as well. We will not go back- the last time they neglected to call after he was done. And he spent 2 Hours waiting for us to call. service was poor. Communication - horrible. 1-
