ONLINE I booked an appointment for our medium size dog for today at 10:00 with a specific groomer. Our pup was brought in a bit before 10:00. The girl at the front couldn't get our phone number correct or what service we had asked for. This was to be our 3re time here. Everything on line was confirmed when I booked the appt. Fast forward 2.5 hours. No notification that Toby was ready. No text, call or email. When we started to call after 1.5 hours there was no answer. Just a recording. We continued to try to connect also by text- per their website . My husband finally went down to get Toby - when he got there he was told- they were behind and hadn't gotten to him yet. Unacceptable- no phone call advising, not answering the phone for over an hour- unacceptable, and then to boot - usi g the excuse they were behind. I'm not sure how that's except able when for that groomer Toby was the first one at 10:00. And not even an apology. 2.5 hours of him being in a cage. Ignored. And no communication. Then I get a text that my appt was cancelled. They have a policy that they charge without a 24 hour notice. I have a good mind to send them an invoice as well. But be aware, if you have any kind of poodle they will charge you a matted fee even if they're not matted which is ridiculous. I made a appointment for my 2 dogs to get washed and groomed the night before since it said they had openings. I took my dogs in at the time scheduled and they took my dogs to the back and I left. There was dog hair, feces and piss all over the floors and it smelled retched. The person behind the counter had called me 2 times and asked for different people about other dogs. They then called me and told me my dogs would be ready before 4, this was at 1:30. I then get a call at 2:45 telling me to come get my dogs that they won't be able to get to them today. So now I have waisted a hour and a half out of my day to get dogs together and transport them there and back with them in the exact same condition I dropped them off in. I cancelled a reservation 2 weeks (plus a few hours) ahead of time during SPRING BREAK and they would not refund the $39 deposit that I was told they would refund if reservation was cancelled in a timely manner. If your looking for consistency and quality service this isn't the groomer for you. I have been bringing my dog here for months because Fido always has availability. Which should've been my first red flag. The reason why they have so much availability is because the grooming isn't great. I brought in my mini schnauzer for a full groom. Usually when you check in the front desk staff then the staff ask what service you would like. They didn't after he was there for 4 hours I figured he was getting his regular grooming. Upon my surprise when I picked him up and the young lady at the front desk had me pay the $115 dollars for his regular cut. He came out with his nails trimmed only. Why would you keep him for four hours just to cut his nails and didn't say oh he only got his nails trimmed so no need to pay the $115 you usually pay. After bringing this to the attention of the owners they brushed it off and continue with the rude energy the receptions gave. I caution you to not take your dogs to this establishment. read more

They totally tried to screw me on the price. I had an agreed price of $49 for my dog which I paid for 2 times in a row and then they tried to charge me $59 without notice when I picked up. I explained to the very belligerent very young man that the owner was involved on the decision of my dog's pricing and he told me he was an owner and there are 3 owners. So 3 owners--different decisions? How do you run a business that way? They need to learn how to get on the same page and stick to the agreed upon pricing. And the very young owner needs to learn how to politely work with customers and not yell at them on the phone when they disagree with him. read more

BEWARE In April took my dog in and see pics attached, I was very disappointed. The new owners asked for a 2nd chance which I thought was fair and in July it was a little better so I decided to use them again. Now in Sept 1st the work was not good again - they cut his skin, made his nails bleed and cut his hair inconsistently around his face. Disappointed and tried to let the owner know what happened so they can address with the groomer. Instead of learning from my feedback they suggested its probably better for us to find a new groomer so we can be happy. My intentions were to help the business identify areas of opportunity but it doesn't seem they are interested in providing consistent great service to their customers!!! I found this place on Google because I wanted my brother in law's dog groomed. I don't know when he last got a furcut but he looked a bit of a mess. I was told that grooming was expensive but this place did it at a great price! And he looks like a new puppy! Champ has been feeling like a stud all day with his new shave and everyone has been petting him and touching him which is his favorite thing ever, so thank you!!! I took my 3 dogs in for grooming and upon picking them up, my oldest dog couldn't open her eye, she kept wanting to close it. When I tried to pet her, she flenched, I noticed her eye was blood shot throughout the white of her eye. I also noticed her eyelashes on that eye were cut so short you could see her skin. When I showed the staff and informed them her eye had been nicked, they said she had an infection. She went in with both eyes ok, no infection. She is an easy going dog and has been groomed ever since she was a pup. My concern is they wouldn't even take responsibility of the incident and when I sent pics and statement to them, the manager never even called me. I have one dog who is a shedder, and I don't know what kind of magic they worked on her, but her fur has never looked better! My dog has never cost me over $100 including tip in the entire 4 years I've been grooming him. I take him here and was told for a doodle is starts at $85. I get notification he is done and the price is $120 WITHOUT TIP! I get there to pick him up and they tell me he was hard to handle so it cost more... it was his first time there of course he is anxious around a new groomer - nowhere in their shop does is state if your dog is hyper that he will cost more money to groom. Then the guy stated doodles start at $95 anyways (which contradicted what I was told on the phone) Overall it was an unprofessional experience, definitely no way to keep repeat business. And they shaved my dogs butt down to his skin, it looks awful. Save your money and time and go somewhere else read more

Update: I'm no longer taking my dogs here. FIRST, when I brought in 2 puppies. They groomed the wrong one. One had already been there for just a bath, sanitary trim etc just to get use to the noises, groomer etc. she was ready for a groom. The other one had never been before and was just there for a first time simple puppy appointment as already stated. So, I had to reschedule and take the one back that was supposed to be groomed. I took her back, when I picked her up she had something in her hair on top of her head. Looked like a weird bow. Of course she got them out and her hair hadn't been groomed on the top of her head!!!!!!!! They had left a top knot. Which I certainly didn't ask for. So I bought doggy rubber bands to keep her hair out of her eyes for the time. Then, a few days after all of my pets going there ( I take them all at the same time. I noticed one of my older males licking one of his feet. Then he starting limping. When I looked at his paw I was very upset. His claws had not been trimmed since ?????? so one was growing in his foot pad. I didn't have anything appropriate to try and at least clip that one but it was so sore he wouldn't let me barely touch it. I took him to the vet the next day. They trimmed all his claws ( which I had already paid for at the groomers) and charged me $33!!!!! Plus he had to be on a oral antibiotic for 10 days/twice a day. So all that cost me another $130. So of course I checked everything on my other dogs ( which I shouldn't have to) and none of their claws had been done since?????? their ears were dirty and filled with hair. I contacted Fido Spa, I asked to speak to the younger man I always speak to. He wasn't there and I was told wouldn't be back anytime soon. I spoke with a older gentleman that could barely understand me and couldn't give 2 shits what had happened. He said all he could offer me was 20 % off my next appointment. Renter beware ! We needed to board our two dogs for an upcoming trip and was able to contact Fido Spa and spoke to a friendly representative . She had the dates we needed and told us to go on their website to register our pets. They required a one night's deposit that would be applied to our final bill. Unfortunately we learned that we would be unable to travel as planned so within two hours we called Fido Spa to cancel our reservation with the receptionist who was going to forward this to Carina who handles the bookings. We received a text message from Carina around three hours later advising us that the deposit was non-refundable. We were never informed of this "policy" when we called to make the reservation. Also the registration form did not have anything stated on It about non-refundable deposits. We contested this non disclosure be the establishment. I'm not telling anyone not to use Fido Spa but am just sending a caution out to anyone who might be considering making a reservation and for any reason has to cancel. Remember, we cancelled on the same day and within two hours . Be sure you ASK about their booking policies or any non disclosed items if you are considering using Fido Spa. read more

I started bringing my Michael there since March of 2021. The owner and I built a good relationship during this time and I was pleased with the grooming service. They have been increasing their fee(s) just in the year multiple times, never really settling to some consistency. January 2022 the fee went up and I agreed, which was the second time. Then I had an appointment today (March 2022) and was told it was going up again today. I left Michael thinking once I spoke to the owner we would arrive to an agreement, as we have done in the past, so I asked if they would have the owner call me. In my frustration I requested to speak with the owner about the constant increase. I then received a text for me to come pick up Michael since I don't want to pay the increased amount, which I never said I wouldn't pay. I just asked to speak with the owner. I then called to see if I could speak with the owner and was told by a male employee, not the owner, to just come pick up Michael and then hung up the phone on me. Needless to say, I hurried to pick up Michael. There is no way I would ever leave my Michael with a business that doesn't understand customer service. What business hangs up on a customer? I don't care how well you do what you do, customer service in my book trumps. You're not going to mistreat/disrespect me and take my hard earned money. They waited until I brought Michael to inform me of the increase. Why not let me know when I made the appointment or inform me that the next time I bring him the increase will take effect? While I will never ever return to Fido Spa, I do hope the "owner" considers who he hires more thoughtfully and how they interact with the customers, even if it is family. Many times family and business don't mix. Should you decide to bring your fury buddy here, be prepared for constant price increases and bad customer service if an issue/concern arrises. As you can read the other reviews that had issues, you can see how Fido Spa doesn't take responsibility. It's always the customer's fault. They are arrogant with their response and unapologetic. I don't think it's the owner who is responding, it's the family member the owner hired. He is very unprofessional and obviously inexperienced with resolving issues with customers in order to try and maintain their business. This is how you loose business and prevent additional new business. I probably would have paid the increase if the customer service was handled professionally and with courtesy. (See Erica Poynter's review) It's not so much the fact that there is an increase, the problem is the numerous times and increase happens within a short time period.
