We took our Alaskan Malamute Ruger to Jungle Camp for the board and train, and he ended up staying almost three weeks. I have always trained my own animals and needed help since we have two Alaskan Malamute puppies who were more interested in each other than learning manners Although three weeks seemed like forever we couldn't be happier with the results!! Linda and her daughter have a wonderful facility and treated Ruger like a part of the family. After a two and a half hour "owner" lesson we are fully prepared to continue what she has started with our baby. Thanks Linda for giving Ruger a solid start on manners and obedience.

I was told narcotics scent training was available but at drop off it was changed to birch wood. Then I have a dog with special needs as he will not eat away from home. I had to BEG for photos and updates knowing my dog wasn't eating for a week. Then they pass the SAME PHOTO and even sent me a screen shot of the edited time stamp to prove that they it wasn't edited. Guess they didn't look hard enough because the date the photo was really taken was on their screen shot. Attached are pics of the two weight pictures (drop off and pick up), a screen shot of the text message exchange and a close up showing the actual time stamp. The biggest thing is that I had a dog with special needs that was away from home not eating and I wasn't getting communication.

My fiancé and I adopted a dog in September named Angus from Paws in the City. We live in an…read moreapartment complex with a dog park and we would take Angus to the dog park to socialize and take care of business. Our poor pupper was attacked twice by the same two dogs and it completely changed his behavior. He just lost trust in other dogs and became aggressive when he would come across another dog. We didn't know how to reverse this behavior and that's when we started researching on dog training. My fiancé found Off Leash, watched all of the videos on their training and we decided to go for their 8 week program. We started with the trainer Brandon and he was wonderful. He really took the time to let Angus get comfortable with him and showed us several commands that had us in awe. Brandon was no longer going to be available on Saturday's so we were going to be switching with Sarah. Brandon observed her for a few session and then she was solo. It was the same service all across the board. The last 2 or 3 sessions, we went to dog parks but just to walk around them, allowing Angus to get familiar with being around other dogs, and how to control his behavior. This has honestly made a HUGE difference with our pupper! The training doesn't stop even though we're done with the program. We're now able to walk off leash with him around the complex and he can place anywhere we point to. We still have to work on getting Angus to be more relaxed when coming in contact with other dogs but we're very confident that we have the proper tools to get him there!

We are going into our 4th week this week, and after only 3 classes I am seeing amazing results. Wally is showing more focus, better household manners, obeying extremely well... I have always trained my own dogs with good success, but Wally, being a service dog in training, I wanted professional help from the beginning. Rebecca has made all the difference in the world! The best part is that she doesn't necessarily train our dogs (in group classes), she trains pet parents to train their dogs, and has enlightened me to techniques and animal thought processes that I would have never aquired without her insite. She is full of great information, makes herself available via phone, email and text. Saturday evening I left her a message that I was having an issue with Wally turning a leave-it command into a new game. She returned my call on Sunday morning, and spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me to correct the behavior. With the advice she gave, once again, by the end of the day I was seeing results. What an Obedient Dog, and Rebecca are amazing. They shed light on how dogs think, how to relate/think like a pup, practice positive reinforcement and are always available to help address each pets particular nuances. I can't say enough great things about them. I will definitely be following up with her intermediate classes, CGC classes and testing and then service dog trainings. I highly recommend What an Obedient Dog! They have so far surpassed my expectations.

For the first hour Lauren provided some good information and things to try with Darwin to help him. After that she said she wanted to bring in her dog for Darwin to be around, I stated I wasn't really comfortable with Darwin being around another dog and I didn't think it was the best idea. Lauren assured us that her dog Mable was extremely friendly and did not care about other dogs (Mable is a pitbull mix that is only 1 year old and about 50 pounds)! As Mable was brought in Darwin was barking and growling (his normal), and Mable was ok but then she started growling and getting aggressive. Her hair was standing up and Lauren said she was just correcting Darwin, so we just kept watching which was a mistake. Mable snapped at Darwin's ribs and bit him. We didn't see he was bleeding until she left. The next day our dog was very lethargic and sore, he couldn't jump up on the couch or walk with out crying out. Lauren did send me Mable's medical records at my request and was made aware that Darwin was bleeding. She did not offer a refund for the training. We already knew our dog has issues to fix, that is why we hired her, now he is even more scared of other dogs. The good news is he is healed up, but we will never use this company again. Please make sure to communicate what you want and you know your dog better than anyone else, do not put them in danger.
