One of my girls snuck out the front door as soon as she opened it one morning and she ran away. Nikki didn't skip a beat to go after her and make sure she was safe at home before going on with her day. I felt totally at peace with Nikki watching my dogs for the week while I was out of town. This is a well oiled machine with strict rules in place in ensure you will get back your baby. I always to a witness cremation here at this location over the years and let me tell you even though this is a big corporation, they still make it seem like a family owned business. I called them as instructed because I wished to have the black cat urn and was told by Andrew it would be two weeks - ok so I paid and waited. I called every week until the 23rd of February and was finally told they did not have the urn STILL yet they had been telling VEG who I was also calling that they had to get a tracking number. Veg told me they had shipped it but they also needed to get a tracking number leading me to believe that my pet had been shipped back to them...BTW they deliver the remains not SHIP them. I called VEG 4 days ago and was hung up on by Cheyenne and when I called back she had the audacity to tell me I hung up because I could not hear her. A complete lie as I told her to take me off of speaker phone. I finally spoke to Kendall at Fond Memories and she told me that they needed to call and find out when they would receive the urn...I cancelled the black cat urn and they suggested I could take another urn and then transfer him to the cat urn?? I just took the other urn and who knows what I will receive today when I pick up his ashes. Maybe just plain dirt! Do not use this place.

There are two reasons why I will never go to PetsMart Pets Hotel again to board my puppy, but they both are centered around negligence. (1) My poor Mac's last experience with PetsHotel in Flower Mound resulted in him getting bitten, which no one noticed and let him lick on the leg for atleast two days (if not more) causing all the skin around the bite and the bite itself to be infected. After the doctor drained it, cleaned it and treated it with Antibiotics I showed it to the Pets Hotel, which they did pay for the service. (2) However, To add to my lack of faith I do not think that they fed him while I was gone. He didn't go #2 when I brought him home on Friday (which is strange for my dog) and I did give him a greenie. He didn't go #2 in the morning either, which is even stranger and after going to the doctor he finally did go poop and it was green. That really started to scare me. So I made sure he had a good dinner, hand fed him breakfast on Sunday and after he had a good dinner on Sunday he finally had his first #2. Needless to say I was livid and will not go to Pets Mart boarding again. I had to find another pet caregiver quickly for my next travel and searched on Yelp, where I found Alice and I AM SOOOOO GLAD I DID!!!! For boarding she offers (BTW, all of this is for $25): 1) Taking your puppy for a walk both morning and evening by the lake 2) Playtime with other puppies on a nice piece of land with trees with squirrels and rabbits (similar to doggie day camp at Pets Hotel, except she will only allow 6 dogs at a time) 3) Treats if you allow 4) Administering as many medications as you need to be given (without extra charge) 5) Feeding toward your schedule 6) Snuggling with your puppy as he or she sleeps, offering to let the puppy sleep with her if you are open to it (like I am) 7) Sending pictures of your puppy during to day (so you can see what your puppy is doing during their stay) 9) If you don't want your puppy to sleep with her on the bed she has these beautiful little rooms for them to sleep in without the chain fence, nice bed and quiet surroundings 10) Hand feeding your pet if needed (which my Mac can be bad at) making sure that your pet 11) There is someone sleeping on site, in case anything happens in the evening. 12) She treats them like they are part of her family, which makes it a much less stressful experience when you are away. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY to have found Alice and recommend profusely to anyone who has an animal, cats or dogs, to try her out. You will not be disappointed. I can not say enough good things about Alice and her company!

As a first time dog and first time Corgi owner, it was important to me that I train my dog well and correctly from puppyhood and they have helped me do just that. Corgis are smart but can be a bit stubborn, and Kathy and everyone has taught me how to handle my puppy with positive reinforcement but also being firm. Kathy also helps board my dog when I am out of town, and is flexible with me since I work long and unpredictable hours at a hospital. It's very difficult to find someone who responsibly vets and lets the right dog personalities mesh while playing, but she does exactly that. I never have to worry about my dog getting into trouble while I am gone. My dog is always in great hands with everyone here, and I would highly recommend Kathy and her staff to anyone looking for someone to help you board or train your dog.

I had gone to this vet before and trusted her with my dog but then when I took my current dog to…read moreher for vaccinations and to get INEXPENSIVE heartworm preventative the staff "found" something wrong with my dog's fecal but didn't tell me what it was and while Dr. Barker was examining him looked in one of his ears (he had been scratching it more than the other ear) and said that he had ear mites. Not only did she diagnose him with ear mites he was also diagnosed with an ear infection. I did see that he had wax build up in his ears that she cleaned. Only later after the vet visit did I find out from talking to his foster mother that both ear mites and ear infections stink to high heaven and his ears didn't stink! I was furious that she decieved me in order to line her pockets when she knew that I am on a fixed income. DO NOT GO THERE BECAUSE IF SHE AND HER STAFF SEE HOW MUCH YOU CARE FOR YOUR PET THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF THEY KNOW THAT YOU DON'T KNOW THAT MUCH ABOUT ANIMAL HEALTH ISSUES!

Not only did the clinic make an early morning appointment to see the three dogs (which were not prior clients), they went above and beyond to write the USDA a letter confirming the dogs had an appointment for the treatment in the morning so that their health documents would be stamped - these actions were taken prior to their being compensated by use solely because it was in the best interest of the dogs. The staff was concerned and caring on the phone and very quick to assist us. We will definately recommend this office for client's in the area in the future for their veterinary needs.
