Dr. Hartland is a gift, a true gift to our fur babies! You can tell she has such a passion for what she does, she cares for every fur baby she treats. Also, I'll admit, it's nice to take my kiddos to a vet that specializes only in cats. Walking into a clinic where the barking can be overwhelming for our cats, this isn't an issue at Hartland. The visit was affordable and I had no complaints. The staff, again, was wonderful and full of energy. The website was laid out nicely and was easy to use. 3. I appreciated that they background check their employees coming to my home. 4. They came quickly. As soon as I finished paying for my cremation package, they texted me an estimated time of arrival. 5. They arrived right when they said they would be there and were so careful with my boy. As an older woman, all of these things provided me a lot of comfort and confidence that Bandit would be well taken care of. I reached out to get someone to run an errand for me. They would be picking up two tshirts from a…read morevendor and bringing them to me. The driver left at 2:20 pm and picked up the shirts right at 3:05 pm. According to Apple Maps, the vendor was a 46 minute drive away. I receive a text from the driver at 4:27 pm letting me know they had just caught a flat. I was curious since this was 30 minutes after they should have arrived. They assured me they were on the way. I asked how far they were and they said they were 25 minutes away. How is this possible when we're already 30 minutes PAST the time they should have arrived? I contacted what I assumed was customer service to ask this question and was asked "Is there not traffic in Houston on a Friday? Or period?" GPS includes traffic in the arrival time. You expect me to believe the GPS time is off by an hour? I called the driver to ask where he was so I could meet him and get my items from him. It is now 5:31 pm and I am still waiting on him to arrive to the spot HE chose to meet at and said he could be here at 5:15. NEVER AGAIN

There were repeated refusal of care from the scaredy cat nail techs who didn't even want to try... and the vets we've tried in the past recommend sedation before his nail trim... ridiculous as we get his nails trimmed every 3 weeks. Gents & Paws is a mobile nail trimming service created by two veterinary nail techs. Blessed to have found them. Patch continues to hate his nails trimmed; still snarling, but these guys are gentle and they definitely have the expertise to keep him calm. No major restraint, zero sedation required, and no scaredy cats doing his nails.... Also, lots of pet education ... Pets can tell if you're uncomfortable or scared in performing your tasks. Nick & Jeff are the best, and I'm a happy pet parent. Thank you.

These are some great people doing great things in the community! Their mission is to "rescue,…read morerehabilitate, and regime dogs in need whether abandoned, neglected, or surrendered; by placing them in safe, nurturing foster homes while they await their perfect forever families." I have personally seen them live that mission. I had recently posted on a neighborhood site that I had found 6 abandoned puppies and was looking for homes for them. Justin, one of the Founders of this organization reached out to me to offer any assistance I might need. Thankfully, I had been able to get committed good homes for all of them already, but what a great organization to reach out to see if I needed help vetting them or finding them homes. My experience and communication with Justin led me to start following his posts and seeing all the other good that Justin, the volunteers and fosters are doing. God Bless Them!
