Beware of the current one they will tell you on their website that they will have experienced people take care of your pets (there are only 2 her and another lady.) The owner, her husband and her employee (who was awesome) do love our animals but she has had a few babies in the last few years and I feel has not grown her employee base to handle her client base. They will put on the invoice the names of the people coming to your Home and not list the ones that come to cover or send you a courtesy text that someone else is coming for that visit e.g someone's son. Used this service for 7 years but recently found out after I installed cameras after something got mysteriously broken that during the summer months/ seasons when they get busy they will have inexperienced young people cover for them. While this girl was listed on the invoice not on their website I trusted them. Had a young girl not pay any attention to our dog, take pictures of my home, help herself to items in our freezer turn on our TV in the living room to watch cartoons and sleep for over an hour and a half on our sofa. We were informed they were appalled at the video footage we sent them and they fired this girl who had worked for her husband and thought she could be trusted. They handled this incident well via texts and having their experienced employee go to our home wake her up and get her to leave and we decided to continue with them. We installed cameras after this incident as my dog was acting very strange too like many people had been in our home and where as I said before something got mysteriously broken and on our first trip away we saw what was really going on. After our last trip the owner decided it was best for us to find another service since she felt we were watching her, yep my trust had been broken used them for 7 years who knows what occurred before the cameras were installed... be careful! And to top it off the owner, Lara then feels she needs to put a bad review out on the Pet Comany site that I have chosen to now take care of my puppy and home. This shows the level of immaturity and lack of business sense and professionalism you are dealing with at this company. Good news is her full time employee plans on taking over this business, since Lara is relocating with her husbands business. So maybe Posh Pet Services will re-establish it's good name in the near future under the new management of Sheila Patton!

My 2 English Bulldogs had a bath plus deshedding and my golden retriever had a bath plus a hair cut. All 3 of them came back inside smelling amazing and very happy. There are two reasons why I will never go to PetsMart Pets Hotel again to board my puppy, but they both are centered around negligence. (1) My poor Mac's last experience with PetsHotel in Flower Mound resulted in him getting bitten, which no one noticed and let him lick on the leg for atleast two days (if not more) causing all the skin around the bite and the bite itself to be infected. After the doctor drained it, cleaned it and treated it with Antibiotics I showed it to the Pets Hotel, which they did pay for the service. (2) However, To add to my lack of faith I do not think that they fed him while I was gone. He didn't go #2 when I brought him home on Friday (which is strange for my dog) and I did give him a greenie. He didn't go #2 in the morning either, which is even stranger and after going to the doctor he finally did go poop and it was green. That really started to scare me. So I made sure he had a good dinner, hand fed him breakfast on Sunday and after he had a good dinner on Sunday he finally had his first #2. Needless to say I was livid and will not go to Pets Mart boarding again. I had to find another pet caregiver quickly for my next travel and searched on Yelp, where I found Alice and I AM SOOOOO GLAD I DID!!!! For boarding she offers (BTW, all of this is for $25): 1) Taking your puppy for a walk both morning and evening by the lake 2) Playtime with other puppies on a nice piece of land with trees with squirrels and rabbits (similar to doggie day camp at Pets Hotel, except she will only allow 6 dogs at a time) 3) Treats if you allow 4) Administering as many medications as you need to be given (without extra charge) 5) Feeding toward your schedule 6) Snuggling with your puppy as he or she sleeps, offering to let the puppy sleep with her if you are open to it (like I am) 7) Sending pictures of your puppy during to day (so you can see what your puppy is doing during their stay) 9) If you don't want your puppy to sleep with her on the bed she has these beautiful little rooms for them to sleep in without the chain fence, nice bed and quiet surroundings 10) Hand feeding your pet if needed (which my Mac can be bad at) making sure that your pet 11) There is someone sleeping on site, in case anything happens in the evening. 12) She treats them like they are part of her family, which makes it a much less stressful experience when you are away. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY to have found Alice and recommend profusely to anyone who has an animal, cats or dogs, to try her out. You will not be disappointed. I can not say enough good things about Alice and her company!

The 'problem' dog, as the owner describes why they have certain policies they do in response to…read moreother negative reviews, which aligns with our experience. 9/27/24: We've bounced around DFW the last few years; our five year old dog has been in daycare since he was a puppy. He's well socialized but can be timid in new environments. We chose Legacy Dog Resort as the choice to board our dogs for the first time as we prepared for an out of town trip we were taking. We did the trial day before boarding for a four day stay. On the second day of the stay, they called and said there was an incident where our dog attacked another dog unprovoked while playing alongside a fence - and as a result, they would keep him isolated for the remainder of the day. While thinking this was a bit of a harsh response, this was also the first time they mentioned of a 'three strike' policy they have. While obviously concerned, as our dog has never shown this type of aggression, didn't really know how to handle - especially being out of town. I asked them to monitor him the next day and call immediately if another issue arose. They did not call the next day, which my assumption - like the three other days, our dog played fine. Never questioned an incident took place but we were concerned of the environment our dog was in for him to act out of character like this. It wasn't until Sunday, 9/29/24, after we called to check in did they inform us that our dog was no longer welcomed back because of the one incident that occurred that Friday. So instead of working with us to moderate, break up his play time - judgement was passed and identified our dog as a 'problem' dog - completely omitting their own three strike rule. Upon pick up on 9/30/24, the kind lady at the front desk showed me the footage. There were about 30 dogs in the clip hanging around by a fence as described, but what was not explained initially as shown in video - two dogs jumped on my dog's back, which is what initiated the incident. Not justifying my dog's behavior - but it clearly showed why he reacted the way he did. Again, I repeat, we never questioned 'something' occurred with our dog and that there was an incident, but remain concerned that not only was the incident not as described, they chose to just ban him without working with us to find a solution. To summarize, we are very disappointed with our experience at this facility as a former new client. I still think the staff is great - friendly, and attentive, but have serious concerns on how quickly the owner (whose decision it was) handled the situation to our detriment. I understand the need to uphold policies - but that didn't occur here. We have documents of references from other boarding places to vouch for our dog, and wish they worked with us to correct a one time issue - but we were never given that chance. If you are a new client, please be aware of how they implement their policies to rid out those 'problem' dogs.

Tomorrow is bath day for all my dogs so I did not have time to wait on shipping. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance with anything. When I told them what is was there to purchase, they led me right to it. The price seemed pretty fair to me and I was pretty excited to get a good value! I also picked up some dog treats , of which they had a pretty large selection. In fact I was amazed at all the goodies they carry here.
