History
Established in 2017.
Dr. Shellie Wallace, DVM, graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She completed a Master's at KSU, a residency in Theriogenology at the University of Georgia, and established the Equine Ambulatory section at Auburn University. After moving to Kansas City for mixed animal practice, she founded a large animal practice. In 2004, she relocated to Texas, starting Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic in Sanger. In 2017, she opened A&E Pet Haven, a facility offering pet boarding in Sanger Texas.
Roger Wallace has 40 years of experience handling raptors. He began at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, rehabbing and releasing injured raptors. He then worked at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney, TX, and spent 17 years at the World Bird Sanctuary in Saint Louis. There, he managed the propagation department and prepared birds for educational programs. In 2017, Roger joined Dr. Shellie Wallace.
