WOW! What a great first visit with Dr. Eddy and her vet tech Sue. I have never been greeted by a front desk person at a vet with a big smile and compliments to my dogs. Sue put myself and my dogs right off the bat when we walked in. I am so happy we have a great vet and tech team that showed compassion and care for both Maverick and Mylie. So impressed with this customer service. I didn't feel rushed and they were so careful with Maverick who has been bounced around to 3 other homes before ours. You better pay special attention to the confirmation text they send you! Especially if you booked via the website! They show appts on the website on the hour and every 15 min after (I chose 1:30p and put it on my calendar that way). They changed mine to 1:20p and I didn't notice. I thought I was 1 min late. When they said I was 11min late, I told them I'd selected the 1:30 slot. Her response was, "we'll you confirmed for 1:20 and she's every 20 min, so......." as if I was lying about selecting that time because it wasn't even an option because she's every 20 min. (see attached pic for proof that's how they schedule on the website). And if you don't notice that it's been changed on the text, and are more than 10 min late, you're either SOL or have to pay an $88 "work-in fee". So apparently, it's not really about not having the time because you're late (unbeknownst to you), because somehow $88 miraculously creates the time to see your pet that wasn't there before you paid the fee. IT'S A MIRACLE! What a joke! That's an hour of driving out of my day for nothing. Won't be going back! read more

You know, they do good work, but the upsell is a real problem. They suggest treatments, but are not very forthcoming about what is needed vs. recommended vs. optional. It's a challenge every time to dig all of that out. I have found a new provider after our last visit for updated vaccinations turned into labwork that was expensive and unrevealing. And the nice assistant told my daughter, it's recommended, but isn't necessary. It's a good idea. Yeah, hundreds of dollars later, not such a great idea. read more

Dr. Eddy is awesome. I had a sick rabbit that had a dental abscess. I was referred to Dr. Eddy after another vet had run out of ideas on how to battle what was happening to my baby. My other vet and Dr. Eddy even went as far to get on a conference call with another exotic animal vet in Chicago, trying to come up with a treatment to save his life. I've been to several different vets before - and they've all been people who liked animals - hence their profession - but this was a place where I knew my rabbit was LOVED the way I loved him and the staff was so compassionate toward him and to me. I never worried about leaving him there. I've also taken my dog, a hyper Red Heeler, and she was treated like a princess. I've moved far away from this area since my sweet bunny passed away, but I would drive the extra 100 miles to go to this location to get the skilled treatment from Dr. Eddy. read more

Dr. Eddy has been our family's vet for nearly 20 years. We've followed her all over the Metroplex because of the compassion she shows towards her clients and patients. The last time I went to see her, I took our kittens in for kitten shots. One of the kittens made a mess in the traveling cage. We warned the techs when we arrived about what had happened. No problem! They took the kitten and cage away; both were returned clean and fresh smelling. Dr. Eddy does great with exotics, too. She has taken care of our rabbits and hamsters. We've had other vets tell us that our hamsters weren't worth taking care of. "You can buy another one for less than $5." If we bother bringing a pet to the vet, then we expect our pet to be respected. Dr. Eddy does more than respect our babies; she loves them. It's a small practice so don't expect to be worked in. She'll try to get you in if she can but, honestly, they're often swamped by patients. They're swamped because people want Dr. Eddy! She is simply the best. read more

I have been using Corinth Veterinary Clinic ever since I moved to Lake Dallas, 10 years ago. Dr Eddy has always been an incredibly caring Doctor towards my dogs and has been spot on with her diagnosis when they have problems. Pricing at the clinic is pretty good when compared to other clinics in the area. it's not the cheapest but I feel that you get good value. Its a small clinic that can get very busy at times. So be sure to call ahead. read more

Dr. Eddy has cared for my animals for about 15 years. I have moved out of the Corinth area but it is worth the drive to go and see her and Dr. Kerce. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. They love animals that's why they do what they do. Dr. Eddy takes the time to think things through and explore different options as my animals all seem dedicated to getting everything imaginable from a recluse spider bite, to mast cell cancer, to dog bites and everything in between. She has been there as my aged pets Daisy and Pepper passed over the rainbow bridge when it was time. She had tears in her eyes with Daisy. She thanked me for taking such good care of Daisy over the years. I so appreciated her compassion during that time. She cares. I trust and have tremendous respect for her. She calls me personally to give me important test results. Her core staff/techs have been with her for years. My dogs are happy to go see them and they know my dogs by name. They really care. You couldn't make a better choice in my opinion. I have pulled up to the clinic screaming trying to carry my 100 lb dog after she was attacked and was bleeding and they ran to help me. I will never forget the sight of tech Sally running out of the front door to help another customer whose dog collapsed in the parking lot (when they were still by Albertsons), she scooped the dog up in her arms, and ran back to the clinic with the dog in her arms. The dog ended up being fine. A similar incident when my dog's stitches came open on her leg, although they were closed for a staff meeting. I had called from the parking lot and left a message. Dr. Kerce had heard my message and I looked up and she was knocking on my car window to take my Chloe inside to care for her. The office staff and reception are the gate keepers as with any business. They are what makes Dr. Eddy able to run a business and provide the wonderful and loving care for our animals that she does. read more

Service is so slow, and they have no idea what I'm asking for when I go in to get medications for my dog. Takes 30 minutes at least for them to find records and provide 2 pills for me to take and give my dog. Furthermore, there is no attempt to allay the frustration that they should expect would occur over the protracted wait. Show some compassion toward the people, not just their pets. read more

This is a heads above every other vet in the Corinth/Denton area, with doctors that are very thorough and caring throughout the process of treating your dog. The doctors here have frequently discussed the issues with our dog for 30+ minutes and NEVER PRESSURED us to spend money at their facility. Furthermore, they are cheaper than vet clinics in the area and never force random fees upon you at checkout. read more

I recently had an emergency with my lil baby, besides being new to the area and it being 7:30 in the morning I was very unsure where to go. I showed up at 8 with no appointment or even a phone call to let them know I was coming. I was quickly taken in to a room and the awesome Dr. Eddy was right in. It has been my experience that not all vets particularly like treating 2lb dogs but Dr Eddy was not one of those vets!! She was beyond wonderful! She did not try to force unnecessary tests on me, she just made sure my baby was ok! Two days later I felt my dog might need something for pain and Dr Eddy quickly called me back discussed options and had her medicine ready and waiting for me within 15 minutes. Dr Eddy and the entire staff are wonderful people and I'm so glad I chose them over the other area clinics and know my Truffles is in great hands in the future! read more

Dr Eddy is a great vet. Friendly knowledgeable. Problem is they are always booked so you can't get in for emergencies. Also when I am there for annual check ups I sit in the office and wait long periods of time. Always there a minimum of an hour. I have a 2 year old child and sitting that long drives me and him crazy. read more

We've used Dr Eddy for years. We've been pleased with her and her staff as they've helped take care of our two dogs (one of whom is now in Doggy Heaven). We've been impressed with Dr Eddy's incredible knowledge and caring demeanor, as she handled things as simple as vaccinations and as complex as removing our dog's eye. When the time came to euthanize our dog the entire staff was very compassionate and treated our situation with professionalism. It is not easy to get in for an appointment at the last minute because this is a busy, busy and popular clinic. Scheduling in advance is your best bet. I've been taking my dog to this vet for the last 4-5 years. The veterinarian is extremely knowledgeable. She explains everything in detail. The place is on the small side. They only have two exam rooms which is ok for me because when I'm there I usually get in and out pretty quick. The clinic seems to do a lot of business. It is harder to get a same day appointment. The only thing that bothers me about the place is that it is not open on Saturday. It would be very convenient if it was. The staff is friendly and they seem to care about my dog so I will continue to take her there. read more

Dr. Eddy! If it was just this fine veterinarian I was reviewing I'd give a five star plus, but staff can and does make a big part of any business. On one trip I took my two dogs in to get their nails shortened. We prefer they be ground down rather than cut. We heard both dogs whining as if in horrible pain while getting the nails worked on. One dog came out with a trail of blood from a claw that was taken down too far. The technician didn't notice and had a rather neutral attitude, even when confronted about the painful yelps. We surmised the technician was in a hurry and had the grinding stone placed for too long on the nails, creating burning heat. In fairness, we have had other similar treatments at Corinth with no issues. Dr. Eddy is one of the nicest, most informative vets we've met over the past ten years, both while living in southern California as well as north Texas. The staff is generally friendly and they do professionally the pet's needs and in a timely manner. I'm looking to put a fifth star on Yelp, but have to keep my rating real. read more

Careless and haphazard care, I highly recommend you choose another Vet. Sassy's story, we want to the shelter to rescue a kitten for my 7yr old son, his 1st pet. We found a beautiful friendly grey female named Sassy, she had a spot on her tail but we were assured the Vet had checked her out. 2 days later we took her back to the Vet for a check up and to make sure the spot wasn't RINGWORM!!! Not RINGWORM Corinth Veterinary Clinic told us, they had seen her previously and she was fine. 2 weeks later everyone in my household has RINGWORM!!! We take her back to Corinth Veterinary Clinic and they check her with a Woods lamp and confirm it is RINGWORM!!! So back to the shelter which is another story, 2.5 months later we are assured Sassy no longer has RINGWORM. Corinth Animal Clinic even did another Woods lamp. To be sure we take a hair culture to another Vet and you guessed it, Sassy still has RINGWORM!!! They failed her 4 times with their careless treatment. read more

I have a pet rabbit. He got a slight infection near his eye. First apt was just a check and they gave him antibiotics and pain meds for 5 days. It was pleasant and the bill was just over 100.00. After 4 days the small infection turned into a large growth on his outer eye and it was VERY hard. I called to let them know he was getting much worse and we came in for another visit. They took a sample of it to look under a microscope to rule out cancer cells because he is 14. No Cancer! I was happy to hear that but it still looks terribly bad. They gave me some topical ointment and sent me on my way to continue the antibiotics. A couple days later they called to check on him. I told them it was even worse and I was very concerned. The girl asked if he still had antibiotics left and I said yes. She advised to finish the meds and give it a few days and take pictures of the progress. Never got another call. Turns out the growth exploded and it is so huge now he can not see out of his eye. Thanksgiving came and so I waited till Monday to call first thing to let them know he was worse. They told me Dr was in surgery and usually calls back between 1-3pm I waited all day...about 2:30pm I decided to call my old vet and beg him to see my bunny. There are not a lot of vets that see bunnys so finding them has been difficult. I never received a call from the Vet at Corinth even though today they are claiming she called me. I have an apt first thing in the morning for my bunny with my old vet. I have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way but he will finally get the care he needs. Corinth said "why didn't you call the emergency line" my reply....REALLY and pay emergency prices when I have been in contact with you during normal business hours the whole time? They already have charged me 200.00 and my rabbit looks 10 times worse then when they first saw him? If I had seen the slightest bit of healing or hope I would not even be upset. I wish I could put the photos on here to show you. I will NEVER take another pet to this place. read more

Dr. Eddy and her staff are the BEST!!! Dr. Eddy is very knowledgeable, honest and spends her time evaluating and discussing your pet's care with you. Approximately 4 years ago, we adopted a special needs rescue Sheltie. When we took him to see Dr. Eddy to have him checked, he was very nervous and when we tried to leave the clinic he bolted and crossed over I-35. Dr. Eddy spent several hours that evening with us out trying to locate our dog. Fortunately he was found a few days later. In my opinion, not many vets out there would leave their practice and sacrifice from their own family time in order to help look for our dog. This incident speaks volumes that she is extremely devoted and compassionate toward her clients and patients. I have been to other vets in the area and none can compare to her. I am puzzled as to why others would say the staff is not kind, Pearl, Kim, and all the staff I have ever spoken with are nothing but kind and helpful. I would say that if you are having trouble getting an appointment, perhaps it is because Dr. Eddy and staff are SO AWESOME that everyone wants to see them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more
