The Cozy Canine team cares for our "kids" like they are their own. We trust them in our home with overnight visits to take care of our dog as well as our aquariums which have several exotic residents. Our dog has a fairly high anxiety level and their team takes special steps to make sure she always feels comfortable and safe. There have been days when we have called them in the morning and asked them to do an extra check in the afternoon because our dog wasn't feeling well or an unexpected storm has occurred. They are always willing to help and make sure our dog is safe and well cared for. Great people, really know what they are doing with our pets, and extremely trustworthy! They are the most reliable support network we have ever had for our pets. Top notch care, in and outside of the home. Truly can't imagine life without them! read more

We absolutely love Chester !! He is marvelous at taking care of our two cockatoos whenever we must leave them. We get daily pictures and videos that show our happy feathered friends content and talkative. He spends time with them so they get much needed face time. I would not recommend their services. I had some very distrubing news reported to me yesterday of the owner hitting my dog while on a walk. When I confronted him, he denied, then changed his story so many times. This is not something I will ever risk again. read more

These folks are first class! They are very attentive to your pet's needs. We have had Cozy Canine take care of our dog and 2 cats several times and there have been absolutely no concerns. They don't just stop in to feed and water the animals, they actually take some time to exercise and entertain your pets. We always receive daily tests with pictures to show the animals are doing well. They also function as a good "house sitter" by taking in the mail and newspapers so you won't have to go to the trouble of stopping the newspaper or mail delivery. Very convenient and reliable. read more

Chester and Lisa are really good!! I found them on the internet, called them up and Chester came by to meet everyone and really see what our daily routine consists of. He takes the time to ask very detailed questions and takes extensive notes to create a profile. Two of my dogs are on medications, he took care of that no problem. One of my older cats is on a special diet... no problem. We never worried about our pets while we were gone. We received daily pics texted to us. Our pets stayed in their own home and barely even knew we were gone. The extra services of taking our trash to the curb, picking up the mail and watering our plants was just an added bonus to an already wonderful pet sitting service. At the end of the job, Chester leaves a detailed account of what went on. Our household gives them 6 paws up! (and yes we have 3 cats and 3 dogs)!! We will be traveling more now that we feel so comfortable with Cozy Canine. read more

Have you ever gone away, and left your pets in the care of a friend, family member, or kennel? We have, and we have always come back with a guilty feeling. "Did the animals get cared for properly? Did they get any interaction and fun at all? Did people stop by when they actually said they would?" The list in our head went on and on. We provide in-home pet care while you are away at an unmatched level. First of all, we absolutely love pets! Established in 2010.

We started very small in our own neighborhood in Prosper, TX. We quickly discovered that the need for pet sitting is in high demand, and that we were really good at what we did! We expanded quickly, and are now the premier pet sitter of Prosper. We continue to expand in to Little Elm, Frisco, and portions of Aubrey. No other pet sitter can handle our volume because most other sitters are one person shows. What if that person gets sick or injured? Who will care for your pets? We have a fully trained team that can back each other up in times of need. We are a legitimate business and not just someone trying to make some extra money. There are MANY imitators, but only one Cozy Canine!

Once older he was not given an allowance, but was paid $5 a week to mow the lawn for his parents. He would save his money every week and spend his money at the pet store on supplies for his beloved pets. His love for animals quickly spread, and he was offered pet sitting jobs at a young age for neighbors. Coming from a long line of animal lovers and activists including a grandfather who was a Veterinarian and a grandmother who was the president of the Denton Humane Society for many years, Chester always knew he wanted to work with animals. His dreams finally came to fruition once he created Cozy Canine. He continues to work tirelessly to ensure every customer and their pets are treated with love, passion, and respect.

I decided to book a sitter to come out from here and I couldn't have been more happy and at ease while out of town. They use a portal which makes everything a breeze once set up. It's easy to schedule times and put in pet information. The sitter comes out for a quick consultation so you also know who will be in your home plus give them any extra guidance. When the sitter comes while you're gone they leave a journal with notes as well as taking a photo of your pets so you know they're well taken care of. I never worried once that my older cat would receive his medicine because I always had the update and photos. This was the best part. The sitter also waters plants, grabs mail and takes out the trash and change lights which is an added bonus. The one thing I would of liked would have been a way to get in touch with the sitter directly. My cat bit my sitter, and I was able to communicate on the portal but there was a delay in response. So I had to wait to hear what the drs said and how bad it was etc because I had to go through the main line, which someone doesnt always answer. It would be nice to be able to text the sitter and follow up so I wasn't stressing it was worse than it was for a day. Other than that though, wouldn't change a thing! The cost is really reasonable for what you get and the peace of mind is priceless. You can rest assured your pets will be in great hands. Look forward to using the service again in the future!

After doing a TON of research we decided to use Personable Pet Care and are we ECSTATIC we did!!! First Julie, the manager, was great at answering all the questions my fiancé had which is no easy task as she had tons of questions. She let us know our options and did a great job letting us know what would be our best option for our 6 day trip and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She left us comfortable enough that we agreed to allow them to come out for the consultation to go over all the paperwork and make sure the sitter was comfortable with our dogs and left us at ease about the service. Our consultation is when we met the pet sitter, Lacey, who would be looking after our dogs and home. She beyond impressed us as she was thorough and took the time to explain everything and asked a lot of good questions to make sure she provided the best care. She even took notes of all our concerns and special request request ( Opening blinds, switching lights, turning on tv, opening bedroom door for dogs and etc). Once we actually departed and we left our dogs which we felt was going to be overwhelming and stressful is when we were put at ultimate ease. The communication was outstanding and we heard from Lacey consistently and received tons of pictures of our fur babies. Seeing how well they adapted to her and she kept us up to date was outstanding. We will definitely start using her and the service for regular walks and now are at ease about traveling knowing that we have Julie, Lacey and Personable Pet Care looking after our babies!!!! I strongly would recommend them with no hesitation at all!!!

Unfortunately, our experience at the new facility last night was completely different. We brought our 5-month-old Doberman to the emergency clinic around 10:00 PM after he suddenly showed weakness in his back legs. I carried him in. Despite this, about 20 minutes later staff walked him back to me in the waiting room and asked me to remove his ear post because the doctor said she was uncomfortable doing it herself. After another 30 minutes, the doctor entered and asked the exact same questions we had already answered twice. When I pointed that out, her demeanor noticeably changed. She immediately began discussing genetic conditions, CT scans, MRIs, and surgery--without first performing or even proposing basic diagnostics such as an X-ray. When I asked whether an X-ray had been done, she responded sharply that she hadn't obtained my approval, despite never mentioning or quoting one. At that point, I declined further services and carried our puppy out. Thankfully, he is fine today. We followed up with our regular veterinarian of nearly 20 years, who agreed that monitoring for additional symptoms was the appropriate next step. I fully understand concerns around backyard breeding and puppy mills. However, we purchased our dog from a well-established, reputable breeder, and the judgment we experienced for owning a cropped-ear Doberman was unprofessional and unwarranted--especially during an emergency visit. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other local emergency clinics. In fact, we stopped by a newly opened ER in Prosper on our way home and were treated far more appropriately.

All of the vets here treat your pets with the same importance as human patients. Their follow-through is stellar, with doctors personally calling after hours to check on test results and health issues. I was compelled to leave a review because I am surprised by some of the negative comments posted here. I have only ever witnessed the staff being kind and respectful to clients/patients & co-workers. He takes my words into consideration. As he should have because I know my pet best. He sat down on the floor with me and my kitty and he truly cared about her health and my sanity. We have a plan! Although we don't know what is going on we actually have a plan and this plan was discussed with me as I was a human being and not a dollar sign. Left her in their care until this evening and we will discuss her future health and what is to come. Thank God for this hospital! They gave me compassion, patience, and understanding. I started using Cozy Canine pet sitting services in November, after my sitter of 9 years moved. I was worried about leaving my animals with someone new, until I met Chester (owner) and saw how my animals reacted with him, and he with them. I received daily text photos starting the first evening. Quick responses to any texts or questions I sent certainly provided peace of mind. They left updates on the counter. The second trip was longer, and all went well, coming home to very happy pups! They even handled the medical needs very efficiently, contacting me immediately regarding some PM meds, which I had not put in the daily pill box. I am glad to have found such a responsible & caring service! They are very prepared with obtaining & documenting any information necessary to ensure the best care for my animals! We used Cozy Canine for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We had a death in the family which required us to leave town promptly. They came over immediately to meet both of our dogs and go over all the details of what they like and do not like. They were very thorough in taking notes and wanted to ensure us our doggies would be well taken care while we had to be away. We had always used a boarding kennel but now we are committed to using Cozy Canine as they provided wonderful care to our girls. It was nice to know they would be sleeping in familiar surroundings and provided care daily. We loved getting the text pictures from each visit to see them. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have their pets taken care at home where you know they are safe. We have used Cozy Canine for all our pet sitting needs for over a year. That includes week long vacations and almost every summer weekend for day trips to the lake. Our dogs have never been safer or more cared for while we aren't home. We have 2 extremely HIGH maintenance, quirky Jack Russells and occasionally we foster additional Jack Russells in our home. Cozy Canine and their sitters have followed all directions and gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and happiness of our dogs. Chester and Lisa are absolutely wonderful! We recently took a trip to Boca Raton, FL and had to find a service to care for our Bengal cats as well as our Australian Shepherd, and our German Shepherd puppy, (quite a handful.......). We contacted Cozy Canine due to their close proximity to us and also would have to find one that we be capable of following our complex routine of shuffling around, feeding and exercising our group of pets. A no-charge pet "meet and greet" happened a week before our scheduled trip, and I found Chester to be very thorough in running down a list of needs, wants, and expectations. We love Cozy Canine! The treated our 2 dogs so well when we were out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. We used Cozy Canine when we went to Mexico for a week. Our dogs were very happy when we came home. One perk is that they check the mail daily - no need to do a "mail stop" while you are gone! Plan to use them every time in the future!!! Also, love the pictures of the puppies every day! read more
