AVOID REBECCA. I have worked with groomers for over 30 years and have never dealt with anyone with such a rude and abrasive personality. I took the time to give her detailed typed instructions. She took my long hair chihuahua and cut all the fringe off his ears, arms, back end and tail (everything that makes him a Long-Hair Chihuahua) and cut him like a regular chihuahua, completely ignoring my instructions. When I expressed my disappointment because all of his hair was gone, she angrily told me that 'that's the way you wanted it.' Even though she was extremely rude, I paid her and still gave her a tip because I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. I decided to give her another try and scheduled a follow-up date and waited a full month for her to come out to groom my other dog. When she finally arrived (after the time kept changing), she never came up to my door, but instead sent the bather to the door to say she refused to groom my dog due to the previous issue (where she did the terrible grooming). She stood next to her van in the street yelling all of this at me loud enough for my neighbors to hear, saying said she refused to groom my dog and that I should go find another groomer since I wasn't happy with her previous grooming. She then forcefully slammed her van door shut in anger. The bather just stood there looking uncomfortable. What professional person acts like this? As a business owner myself, I would not have any customers if I ever spoke to them the disrespectful and unprofessional way she spoke to me. UPDATE: I then did as Rebecca suggested and scheduled grooming for my dog with another mobile groomer in McKinney and saved $20.00 on his groom, plus no $30.00 trip charge ($50.00 savings in total). The new groomer at the other company was so kind and did a wonderful job. Shop around. There are definitely much better groomers at better prices in the North Dallas area, and no one should pay $150.00 + tip for a terrible groom AND have to deal with that kind of aggression at the same time from someone who clearly does not know how to groom all breeds and then blames the customer for it. ---See other reviews below from Jun 2024 and another customer from Feb 2024, who apparently also had a similar experiences as ours when using this groomer. read more

We can't say enough great things about Candace and the quality of her work. Our fur baby Hulk has been seeing her for almost 3 years now and we couldn't be more pleased with her work! Anyone who knows Poms know that they are crazy, life-long barkers and they do not like to go with ANYONE other than their owners. Candace is the one exception to this rule! Our Hulk LOVES to see Candace, and we believe the feeling is mutual! :) We can't recommend Paw Splash more - you can very easily tell that they love our fur babies!! read more

After deciding to treat my 6 year old Springer Spaniel to a spa day. I usually clip her my self but thought I'd go ahead and invest for her to have a nice bath, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and hair cut. Well she got her hair cut from her neck down, didn't bother to even try to fade in her hair from head to body or shape and trim her ears properly. Feet are a problem for me but the groomer did an even worst job than I do. Wish I would have checked her closer when I picked her up cause when I got home I found where the clipper blade had cut into her skin. For being voted the best groomer in Prosper. I'd have disagree. Can't say enough about this place. I started with them when they were mobile and now they have opened a store location. The location is beautiful and it was such a great experience for my pups. Always taken good care of and they were happy when I picked them up. Unlike other places that you have 10+ dogs coming and going at the same time as yours, the dogs are much more calm instead of being worked up. Can't recommend them enough! read more

Had Rebecca out numerous times. First time was great. Each time after, we had issues. She kept on telling me what breed of dog we have, and I politely corrected her. I have breeder papers and DNA test. Her cuts became more and more choppy. We took scissors and cut ourselves. Last time she changed shampoo and caused a skin reaction, that we never had before. When I first started using them, they were caring and professional with reasonable prices for mobile services. When I no longer had free things to give Rebecca, it became readily apparent that she no longer wanted to groom my two dogs, and the prices went up significantly.
