I am very pleased with the service I got from these guys! They were able to get the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT, everyone has been out of stock on. Their price was comparable to everyone else. Got them installed today. I felt like they had a whole pit crew working on my Jeep. They had to pull the TPMS sensors out of my old wheels and install them in the new ones. The new ones are Mopar beadlock capable and have 24 bolts that hold the rash ring, that have to be installed after mounting the tires, but before balancing them. This was no issue for them and the labor charge to do them was minimal. They had me in and out, 5 new tires in about an hour. Highly recommended! read more

But these guys not only do great work, they are the nicest, most honest, and friendly people you are going to find. Joel spent about 3 weeks answering all my questions and helping me find exactly what I was looking for. I actually felt bad for him but he never complained and always got back to me within a couple of hours. And these guys do a ton of lifts. They were booked up for a few days when I got my lift. But it is so worth the wait. I had to drive over from Clear Lake but the 40 trip was well worth it. Oh, and the price is right. Best deal I found by far, no negotiation needed. I went to Texas Offroad and Performance to lift my Ford F150 and I was really new to the whole experience but they walked me through the whole process and answered all my questions and believe you me, I had a ton. I was very concerned about the price because lifting your truck can be about what you pay for is what you get. TO&P already had a package with the lift, tires and wheels included with the installation at a preset price, they worked with me to get a more favorable price that I was comfortable with. At first, I was really wishing that I had spent the extra money and went with the BDS or FAB tech but I am glad that I didn't. Rough Country finally came out with 6" loaded struts that replaced the lift blocks that I had and I went with some AT tires instead of Mud and my truck rides like a dream and is wayyyy more quiet now. I highly recommend TO&P for all your suspension needs. They do it all from 2 inch lifts to incredible monster trucks. And I just found out they will replace struts and shocks on cars as well, what better place to get that done than to a business that has been doing it for years and are well known by word of mouth! read more

I have been wanting a lift on my jeep for a while. Like a long while. Like four years long while. So I did my research, decided on the lift I wanted and started using Yelp's "Request a Quote," button. I did the "Request a Quote," button for about six different places. Five of them responded with a canned response of "Call the shop for more info." The sixth, Texas Offroad & Performance responded within twenty minutes with a great quote on parts and labor. The labor cost was totally fair, and the parts cost was cheaper than anything I found online. I called the shop, and made my appointment. It is about 45 minutes outside of Houston so I decided to wait. They don't have much of a waiting area, but I really don't care about that. I just want them to take good care of my Jeep. They had me in and out in just over two hours. During that time they installed a 2" Old Man Emu lift with steering stabilizer. The jeep rides better than it did stock. I am really happy with it. The customer service was awesome, everyone was friendly, and the prices were great. If I want anything else done to my Jeep I will definitely go back to Texas Offroad & Performance. read more

They suggested brands and sizes based on the look we wanted to achieve. We didn't get the hard sell or pressure to buy additional products. Each item was individually priced with the brand listed so I could verify the price myself to see I wasn't being overcharged. The truck was completed on time and looked better than I had imagined. If you know what your going to and for, I think it's safe to say this is a decent place to do business. It is in Manvel, not downtown Houston, which is probably the first thing you need to understand. The parking lot isn't paved, and the guys are good ole boys. If that suits you ok, then you shouldn't have any problems here. I leveled my 2015 Silverado 1500 and added custom wheels and tires for about 30% less than some of the more well known shops had quoted me. The savings was very welcomed and the work they did was fine for a simple leveling job. 8000 miles later and the truck is still riding great. I will say that they do not offer alignments with their level-lift jobs, which leaves you looking for one afterword. Also, they send the truck next door to the tire shop to have the rims and tires mounted, but since their price was great, it didn't bother me how they got it done. They also offer a cash discount, which was nice. read more

This place doesn't offer warranty on used parts. After replacing my front axle, drove for less than a mile, and everything came apart. Brought the car back, and they said its drivable but at my risk. Took my Jeep Wrangler for another shop and they told me the axle is broken already. After paying $4700 If you value your life and safety try another shop. Bad experience. read more

Not only did they take the time to show me multiple loft kit options, they took the same amount of time for tire options. Add a few cool fog lights and other things and Presto! Sent a text to this company on Christmas Day and wasn't expecting a reply, but they did anyway. Explained I needed a rear level kit done ASAP on my vehicle. They said the parts would have to be ordered but I had no problem with that. He said over the phone they would be contacting me two days later on a Thursday since that's when they will open again to get me situated; never heard back from them, no calls no texts. Went to Nevrslo the week after and they helped me right off the bat through the phone before I went in. This shop is one of the best I have been to. I have had expensive work done by big name brand shops but if your not spending an arm and a leg then they won't give you the time of day. This shop answered all of my questions. They would respond to my emails almost immediately even at 10:30 at night. I just had a rough country lift installed on my 2013 Silverado. I got there at 9:30 and they had me back on the road at 2:00, even after they installed a leveling kit on another truck. These guys have great customer service. If you have a question, they don't try to sell you on anything. I asked many questions and they answered my questions based on their opinion not on how much they can get out of it. I've recently had my 3rd truck done here. I had my first done 3-4 years ago and my second 2 years back. I'm from the other side of Bay City, so its a little drive, but well worth it. They always get me in and out for my appointment in 5-6 hours. That is for full 6 inch suspension lift, wheels and tires. If ever I have a question or concern, I can call or email and get an immediate response. The same can't be said for a handful of other shops I've dealt with. Incredibly knowledgeable and not pushy.
