I stopped by Discount Tires to get air in my tires. I love that it is a free service. I ended up finding out I had two screws in my rear tires. They also pointed out that my tires were starting to bald which made sense since I was almost at 50k miles and was due for a new set. My original plan was to have Mercedes replace them, but after talking with the technician, we both agreed it probably wasn't safe to drive any farther. I decided to replace all four tires on the spot, and the price was actually a little less than what I would've paid at the dealership. I appreciated how much they genuinely cared about my safety instead of making a sale. despite being very busy, they had all four tires replaced in about 45 minutes. I'll definitely be coming back for any tire needs or minor issues in the future. Great service! read more

I am so disappointed that this store, despite completing the customer satisfaction survey, has not been acknowledged that they made a huge error- leaving the plastic cover on newly installed windshield wipers. Mind you, I came to the store to just get a tire checked. While I was there, I was offerred new windshield wipers to install. The price was comparable to getting them from the part store, so I opted to have it done. It was raining that day and when I received my vehicle I did notice a red object on the driver side wiper, but I thought this was part of its design. It was raining pretty hard, so I couldn't compare until two days later whe I kept noticing that the driver wiper was dragging. I honestly thought that maybe they installed some old wipers because that's the sound the wipers make when they're used up. Upon inspection, I discovered that the wiper still had the red plastic cover on it, which was causing the noise. Once I took it off, the wiper worked fine but goodness, I really felt the store made an huge oversight that could have damaged my windshield. I shared all this in the store's survey feedback over a week ago, but no one has called or sent communication on how they will resolve avoiding this oversight in the future. Stick to Tires DT if you're overwhelmed and too busy to take a piece of plastic off some wipers. Once more, to ask for feedback and do nothing to address the disatisfaction of a customer is useless to do. Stop it. read more

The whole team here is awesome! I got in the wrong line and wasted some time but they came out to my car immediately to help me check my tires for a leak and found a nail. Enrique was helping me and was super kind and informative. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time in my lunch break to wait to have it repaired but would definitely go back to them. They have a drive through tire pressure check and fill which is nice but the line can be long. read more

I came in for a new tire consult because I have an AWD vehicle. Laura was fantastic and helped me search for affordable tires that would work for my vehicle. I was in and out very fast with new tires. Thankfully, fewer customers today. Thank you Laura!! read more

I (unfortunately) have had to come here about 4 times in the last few months for various problems. Each time I utilized the make an appointment option on their website and was in and out despite the crowded lobby of waiting people. Everyone I have interacted with has been super friendly and I haven't found better prices anywhere else. read more

Having a tire problem is inconvenient, but discount tire is seriously the best. Everyone is so nice here. And the waiting room is large and spaced out with comfy chairs. And lots of places to plug my phone. And they send me a link that lets me track the status of my car and estimated time they will be done. And because I have road hazard warranty, they are fixing my air leak for free. read more

They were open earlier than we expected, had what we needed in stock , honored our warranty for the replacement and they were pretty quick about taking care of us - thanks read more

I rounded the curb and got a flat tire just as I was picking up the grands from school! Called AAA and a tow truck was there at the school within 20 minutes! The next morning, I rolled into Discount Tire and within 35 minutes, I was riding off with a new (and fully warranted) tire! The service was top-tier! My tire was in the back. The tech came out and took the data, walked me in (with baby in-tow) and I purchased the tire and had a seat. Next thing I knew, the car was pulled up, I was given my wheel lock back and was on my way! Fast and easy! read more

I don't know how they do it, but kudos to the whole team at Discount Tire in Pearland! I showed up with a big ol' nail stuck in my truck's back tire, expecting a hassle or at least a charge. Instead, they took it off, patched it, balanced the tire, and put it back! all for free. Every guy in that shop was moving fast, working hard, and treating customers with real professionalism. You can tell they care and take pride in what they do. I was in and out in no time, and I left feeling truly grateful. This kind of honest, above-and-beyond service is rare these days. I'm seriously blown away. Thank you, Discount Tire Pearland. You've got a customer for life. read more

I cannot believe I'm writing a review a tire place. But the Discount Tire on Broadway in Pearland is just outstanding. On multiple occasions, they have checked things for me for free. So sure enough when I went to buy tires where do you think I went. Four new tires for under $500. Costco was way more. Southwest Infiniti was double that. By the way Southwest Infiniti has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. But however, bad they are. That's how great this Discount Tire is. Thanks again, guys at Discount Tire in Pearland. Next level customer service. read more

I had a good experience when I showed up at my scheduled appointment - Tyler helped me. After checking my car's tire, he explained the year when the tire was built and to my surprised 2017. I required a replacement at this time due to wear and tear as well condition of the tires. After providing the estimate and the cost seems reasonable - I was surprised that it only took no more than 30 minutes and I was all done. Highly recommended for the prompt service. The only reason I rated less than 5 stars was due to after installation - noticed the tires does not look new due it looked dirty with white stuff and some sticky residues. I had to wash the tires and applied Simoniz foaming tire shine to bring the black tire side look as well as for me to feel I have new tires when I look at it. The warranty and additional cost approx. $145 for protection in the event of tire mishaps were good for the entire life of the tires. read more

My vehicle has a marriage/arrangement with Discount Tire. The only it will get tires is here, unless it's Ana emergency. How do you say that a tire shop gives you Chic-Fil-A vibes. When I say the team there is awesome, I mean it. My experiences have been nothing short of great every visit between this week and last. Here is the story, started getting that notorious low tire pressure light about a week or so ago. So, I paid a visit to Discount Tire, only to find out it was a leak, not because of a nail, or hole in the tire, but a bad rim. Who authorized the rim to go bad. Now after, 1 week of making a drive to Discount to top that tire off, everyday except "Sunday" (they are closed), how can you be closed we need you everyday. So, everyday I cruised in about the same time between1:30pm and 3:30pm. Of course you make ask, what was so important about this visit , right? This part, majority of the days it was the same gent at the air station with the friendliest and polite attitude. Even when it was in the 40's and raining. He always had a pleasant smile. Didn't get his name, so my apologies, I might just make a trip for that and update this later. A small token of appreciation never hurts. Arturo Thanks!!!! Cameron Thanks!!! Air pump man with a smile Thanks!!! (Name to be added) Either way, I finally got the new rim in today and of course these gents assisted me with getting it replaced and I back on the road in 30mins or so and back to Yelpdome. Until next time, Bye-Bye! read more

I went to Discount Tire on May 20th because my tire pressure light came on. After a quick inspection, they told me my tread was bad and recommended replacing two tires. I trusted their judgment and spent almost $900 on new tires (Sales Receipt #5038668099), expecting that a full inspection would be done -- especially since I drive a Tesla Model Y Performance and came in for a pressure warning. I drove straight home and parked in my garage. The very next day, May 21st, the tire pressure light came on again. I took the car to a different Discount Tire location, and they quickly pointed out that the rim might be cracked -- something the first store completely missed or failed to mention. When I went back to the original store, all they said was, "Yeah, you have a crack," and gave me a referral to a rim welding shop. No apology, no explanation, no ownership of the fact that they mounted new tires on a damaged rim -- even though I initially came in for a pressure issue. This experience was frustrating. They focused on selling tires without thoroughly investigating the real cause of the warning light. Whether the crack was missed or ignored, it shows a lack of attention to detail and concern for safety. Bottom line: I came in with a warning light, spent almost $1,000, and left with the same problem -- only to discover a cracked rim they should have caught. If you go here, don't assume they'll fully check your wheels -- ask questions and inspect things yourself before you leave. read more

I've been here twice so far and though it can get busy, the service has always been pretty exceptional. The workers don't feel like they rush you into making a decision and take the time to understand what you need along with making recommendations you might need. They didn't feel like they were trying to upsell on things like I normally would feel at a dealership or something. I've gone twice, once to replace my tires and the other to get my tire fixed. Both times were walk-ins and we're done with an hour or two, usually quicker than they estimated. It's conveniently located around all sorts of restaraunts and stores so there's plenty of ways to kill time if you don't want to wait in the clean and spacious lobby. read more

That's an amazing experience! Discount Tire really went the extra mile to take care of ME, rather than just making a sale. A lot of places might not have gone that far, especially if there wasn't a current promotion, but that shows a lot of integrity and great customer service. It's not often you find businesses that put your safety first like that. read more

I've been going to this store for the past 4 years and today was the best experience I've had. I was on my way to daycare drop-off and then work and I stopped to have air put in my tires. The guy( I wish I paid attention to his name) noticed one was very low compared to others and I told him this happened a couple weeks ago as well. He actually took the time to have me turn my tire different angles so he could look and he found the nail. I parked and before I could fully load my toddler in the stroller, Kyle showed up and looked at the tire and took me inside to give me the prices for a new tire. I wasn't fully comprehending the prices he was giving me as I was focused on my toddler not jumping out of the stroller. He let me come around and look at the screen myself and he patiently explained everything. In the mist of this, I spilled my coffee on the lobby floor. With no hesitation Kyle told me do not worry about it and he handled it. Before I could pay, a tech came and grabbed my keys. I sat in the lobby less than 20 minutes and they had replaced 2 tires and I was out. I was still able to drop off my toddler and make it to work on time. I really appreciate the patience, kindness and respect I was given today. Thank you read more

I called discount tire and spoke with a young man named Douglas and I was really just calling to find out if I needed an appointment and what I needed. He looked up my account up, what size tires my son purchased before, got the military discoubt and even told me he could send the mobile guy to my home. I work from home, but I am a caregiver for my father and can't just leave for five hours at a time. Kevin came to the house and was so nice and fast. Did the install with the quickness and I just wanted to make sure that Douglas and Kevo got HUGE KUDOS for making my day easy and seamless. We need more of them in this world. read more

So disappointed in customer service my young daughter, who is now crying uncontrollably received. I was out driving all around town working yesterday and my tire pressure light was on... One of my tires was on 15 psi, ahhh! I stopped here asking if they can look at it for me. I believe it was Eric who checked me in. (They have little handheld devices to check you in now.) I explained my situation. He said at the moment it was going to be 2 hours for service. It's late Friday afternoon and I still had more work to do so I declined the service wait. Eric offered to have complimentary air put in my tires to get me to my next destination. It was such an exhausting day so I don't remember the gentleman's name who put air in my tires. Shame on me, I even asked for his name too :( They got me in and out. Unfortunately, I still have to get my tires looked at to see why there was a slow leak. This awesome customer service experience definitely highlighted my crappy day! read more

Let's start with the positive: I receive my service and my tires in a reasonable and timely manner and fair price. Now let's get to the unforgivable: I am relatively young and suffer from moderate tremors. For some reason, the staff there took it upon themselves to start making comments about drug use and abuse within earshot, specifically concerning cocaine, crack, and meth use. They made comments that I looked dirty, (it was laundry day), and that I looked like a drug addict. I spoke with management, to no avail, with an impressive display of gaslighting by the store manager there, William Galloway. Clearly, I will never go there again, and neither should you. I'll be filing an official complaint with the applicable government agencies. Thank you for your time. read more

This place is overbooked and your appointment is pointless. Had a very minor leak (low pressure would show every 5-6 days) and DT wouldn't even look at the tire due to the tread depth given by its scanner. Turns out I had a nail and got a $20 patch. Take your car to a place that will actually inspect your tires, not scan them in restaurant strip next door. read more

Discount Tire - Service bay - Tires Near Me - Pearland, Texas

So grateful for the guys working at this location. If I could rate higher I would. My tire blew on my way home from work and I thought I'd ride on it to this location to be serviced the next day as it was 6 minutes until their closing time. Marcus went over and beyond and told me they could fix my tire before I went home for the night. This took so much stress off of me because I wouldn't have to worry about finding a place for my toddler to go and find a way to work the next morning. The staff here accommodated me and I'm so gracious because they could have turned me away. The service was great, the quality was also great but their customer service really makes them stand out. The closing supervisor also waited for me to get back to the store which was so much appreciated as I had to take my toddler to my moms house to pee (she is potty training and was in underwear). I can't say it enough that this place deserves these stars. Thank you guys read more

I brought my car here yesterday to do TPMS transfer from my OEM wheels into my aftermarket wheels and when they finished doing everything and putting my wheels back on my car, they broke 2 lug nuts, they snapped it in half and they kept insisting that the lug nuts that I have wasn't meant for my car, but when I went to the mechanic that one of their employees told me to go to, not the manager that I talked to that he said he doesn't any shop that I can go to, that you're not supposed to put too much torque on the lug nuts. I myself has taken my aftermarket wheels off many times and didn't had anything like this. I'm just thankful that the mechanic from Cruz N Carz really helpful and customer service is really. My car is gonna be with them till Monday. read more

I stopped in on a super busy Friday morning. I was greeted and register in to edit to speak with an advisor. It didn't take very long. He listened to my request. I have been a customer of Discount Tire for decades. The beautiful thing about DT is that there are literally 1000 locations around the United States that can help you or stand behind their warranty. Chandler is one of the Assistant Managers at this location and was extremely knowledgeable. He gave me several options with pros/cons without being overly pushy. I appreciated his customer service. As a long time customer of Discount Tire, I can tell you that there are times when you wait longer. They are closed on Sunday so naturally, Monday is going to be a very busy day. Naturally, Saturday is also a busy day. They can set appointments and I personally think they try their best to honor the appointment time. However, the world isn't perfect and sometimes you just have to wait. As I mentioned above, Chandler was a big help to me so I would suggest you ask for him. Bottom line - A national chain with 1000 locations. They can stand behind their warranty at any location around the country. Same customer service at every location. I highly recommend them. read more

Excellent and honest service. I wanted to have my tires checked in case I needed to one or more of my tires replaced. I and the service man checked each tire with a hand held tire monitor. I have used Discount Tire several times to replace tires on my cars, and it has always done an excellent job for me. But today, I had a different experience. Yesterday, I ordered a tire by phone to pick up at the store when it came in. This morning, I received a call telling me it was ready for pickup. When I went in to pick up the tire, the clerk asked if the salesman had told me that if Discount Tire didn't install the tire, I would have to pay for the tire in cash. Of course, my salesman never said that to me. They told me that this was a "company-wide policy" because of fraudulent purchases by people using numbers that they had stolen. Since tires that aren't installed can't be associated with a specific person's car, it's easier for crooks to defraud the store. Of course, that won't happen if the store used best practices to identify those using credit cards with photo ID. I don't use cash, especially for large transactions, because carrying cash around is an invitation to robbery, and credit card transactions give a level of protection to the consumer that he doesn't have when paying with cash. I asked them to make an exception. "Nope." I asked them to contact some higher up in the company to make a connection. "Nope." That's poor service in my mind. I'll be using other tire dealers in the future. read more

I gotta say the wait is pretty long but I really appreciate the guys here working so hard in the heat to get my tire service done and running around to find the cars in the parking lot. Yes we did wait for a long time. And I would recommend that even though there is a check in sign outside, it does not count as u being in line until you got to check in with the computer. They do have to look up your information and u have to pay for the service first before u get in line. Save yourself hours and park, the go inside to check in at the line with the computers.
