I spent 30 minutes with August looking for my car key after he mistakenly placed it in a customer's vehicle. He was extremely unprofessional and falsely accused me of having the key. In addition, August put the wrong engine oil in my vehicle, which caused the engine to fail. I had to replace the engine due to his negligence and incompetence. read more

I went in to get my tire checked because it kept losing pressure. We went in and they took our car back to check it, they let us know we had a small, patchable hole and told us they were going to work on the patching. Afterwards, when we went to pay, they told us not to worry about it. The service was quick and efficient, the job was done well and my tire pressure was filled and in good shape, and the workers were just flat out kind. Great place there!!! read more

I drove down to Pearland for work from Austin and one of my tires was leaking air. It was 4:15pm and everything seemed to be closing soon. I was in a total panic and far from home. I called and explained the situation and they told me to come straight in so they could put on the spare on and tell me what was wrong with the tire. They said they wouldn't be able to patch the tire (if that was even possible) tonight but could at least let me know what was wrong. Turns out there was some random steel debris from the highway. They recommended to follow up with Costco where I bought the tires because they were so new. He said he didn't want me to buy a tire from him if there was a possibility my tires were still covered under warranty. Truly cannot give enough stars for that level of kindness and honesty. 10/10. read more

Needed a state inspection, but for some reason it is against state law to make an appointment. So when I went in, the tech who does the service wasn't at work yet. The guy at the desk was very nice & said that if I come back he could work me in right away. He did- & I didn't even have time to finish my coffee! I drive from downtown to go to this store in Pearland. Unlike the dealer, who perpetually wants me to flush my powersteering, antifreeze, brake fluid, etc, every time, they actually look at it, and tell me it can wait a little more. I trust Israel and the other guys who work there. When Goodyear had a store downtown, Israel worked there as well, and I basically followed him once my dealer warranty expired. Horrible place. Do not go here. I scheduled an appointment online for 11am. When I get here they tell me that the 11am appointment has been tripled booked, that I booked a car inspection and not an oil change. When I clearly have proof on a damn email that says I scheduled an oil change. And now they won't get to my car until 12pm. At 1pm they tell me they need to order a part just to do an oil change. The most common service that they do here and they don't have the part in stock. They've told me twice that my car will be ready in a few mins and it's been well over 2 hours. read more

My first visit here was great, friendly staff and work was done fast. I only had an oil change and it was $27 with tax, which is not the best deal but it's fair. My next visit I was charged $35 for the same exact service! Makes total sense, I felt ripped off but the guy helping me assured me that that's what I paid last time, WRONG! I checked my records so thanks, jerk. Sadly, I did not communicate this to my husband and he took my car back here for a third time for an oil change and said they charged him $45! WTH!? Very honest and trustworthy. I had an alignment problem on a big truck and they tried to fix it. Didn't charge me for the work because it was not perfect, the machine was not able to fix it both ways. Got an oil change there and was very satisfied with the time and service I received. They returned my car to me with grease stains after a state inspection!! It was my first time there for a state inspection. I was quoted 30-40 minutes and it took over an hour. When my car was returned I had a huge, what I assume is oil, stain on my AC control! Why would anyone return a car in that condition?! I was there for a state inspection so there should not have been any dirt stains in my car AT ALL! When I asked them to clean it the worker came and put his dirty hand all over my cloth seats! It didn't help that they had my seat lowered to the max and I hurt my leg getting in my car because that is not how I had my seat. I'm short so it was a huge difference! They could have at least tried to leave it as I had it. They have no respect for your car! Stay away!! I also had a pear of broken sun glasses on the passenger seat floor (hidden under the seat). I found it on top of my seat when I received my car. I'm sure they didn't want it because it was broken and I haven't gotten around to fix it. BE CARFUL LEAVING YOUR STUFF IN THE CAR! It looks like they contemplated stealing it because they were designer sun glasses. read more

Worst oil change ever! Didn't refill washer fluid, didn't air my tires, not even sure if they changed my oil.

Usually I get very good service here however the last two times I've worked with the service manager Israel I've had anything better than 1 star service. I purchased 4 tires from Goodyear and one of the tire sensors didn't work even though the service manager was supposed to ensure everything was done properly. Then he was supposed to follow up with GM on a part for an alignment but never got back with me. When I spoke to the general manager he said Israel would get the information on the part needed for the alignment but again never got back with me. When I dropped the vehicle off today for an oil change and for them to fix the tire sensor I asked him about the part. He said he didn't know what happened and when I told him he was supposed to get back with me he seemed not to give a crap. When I said I wouldn't be bringing my vehicle back he said "Oh well". This is supposed to be a manger. Not how any manager that worked for me would have handled the situation. read more

If you want to wait forever please brimg your car here. When I came to leave this review I was not suprised at the low rating. I need my car inspected so I came to Goodyear while I shopped. I asked the man August how long it would be and stated that I only had three cars in front of me. When I came back three hours later my car had not been moved. They at first said the inspector was on a break..then they said there was a car being fixed. So which is it? I waited around a few minutes then went to the gas station for a drink. But this time. Total of 20 more minutes and they still have not moved my vehicle. I went back in and the girl at the desk, Monique was there. I was asked if they forgot about the car she said no. She went to check and came back with my keys and said it would be 30 more minutes. I told her I wanted my keys back and I did not want to wait another 30 minutes. She gave ny keys turned and and proceed to mumble "bitch" under her breath. I asked her if she called me a bitch and she smiled cause she knew she was caught. How is behavior acceptable?! Every time I've been here there's always the same excuse we only have one person working today. Since I've visited multiple times you would at some point the hiring manager would pull some applications and get more employees. I normally offer to wait (2hrs) for an oil change but this time they wouldn't even allow anyone to wait. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience, didn't greet me or anything just "are you dropping off, I'm only accepting drop offs" safe to say I've given them plenty of chances to redeem themselves off to the competitors read more

Worst costumer service!!! I took my car in first thing in the morning was even the first person in line. Asked for 2 new tires and a state inspection. I was told it would take 1.5 hours... 2.5 hours later my car still wasn't done!!! I am beyond upset. As a women I feel like I was put through the ringer because I don't know "man car" talk. This particular establishment has a past of doing this. Saying I need this and that when I came in for a simple oil change. Despite my hesitation from prior experiences I choose to have my tires replaced by Good Year because they said it would only take 1.5 on a Saturday. Rather it's an oil change, inspection sticker checking on an alignment that was purchased, but it was no one there smart enough to find it in their system! This is really rare for me to give a tire/auto place more than two stars. I have had very bad experiences with other companies around the Houston area and I am always going to be skeptical. Long story short, I was here early on a Saturday morning and it was already packed. I needed to come in for an oil change and tire rotation already, but also had an emergency with a blow out the night before. I wanted to get that taken care of as soon as possible. I still had to wait almost 3 hours, which is irritating, but there were already so many people ahead of me so I cannot really say how much of that is their "fault." There was one service guy who was quite rude and not very personable, but everyone else was. I will probably come back here again for my next oil change. read more

The sales manager informed me it would be a first come first serve situation since he double booked. Lastly, the mechanic quoted me a price of 13.98 for parts and labor to change my headlights. I went here because I had a small nail in my tire. I had previously taken my car to another Tire Place that also sells batteries. They tried to scam me into buying a tire. Anyway, when I came here they told me that it would be $20 to fix my tire, however, after fixing it, they said that it would be FREE. They said that it only took 5 minutes and it was super quick, so it was free. Everyone was very helpful and it only took 30 minutes or so. I would recommend Goodyear to everyone. read more

Do not get you vehicle worked on at this location! Long story short took my vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation. They didn't change the sticker on my window or reset my oil indicator. Makes me wonder if they changed the oil at all. Also, the car rode rough and pulled hard to the right. I called Goodyear, they said probably was because they didn't balance the tires. I then took my car to Discount Tire, they said one of my tires had been switched out for a very used tire, (also was a different manufacturer). Obviously, I had to purchase a new tire on top of what I'd already paid Goodyear. When I called Goodyear to question them about the tire, the guy simply told me that couldn't happen, he was very matter of fact! He was not concerned at all. This place sucks, I went in for 2 new tires, was there all day, got there around 11 & was there till around 5 pm, thats ridiculous, another lady was only getting an oil change & was there for 4 hrs! they also checked my car because it was shaking, they quoted me around $850, just got it fixed for $330. This is not a woman friendly place, & if your going be prepared to wait all day, take a lunch, snacks, drinks, or better yet go elsewhere. read more
