Our vehicle was towed to Simba, they diagnosed the problem, the part was ordered and vehicle was done the next day... WAY earlier than expected! Staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. I'm not 100% sure on what would be charged for this particular issued I looked it up online and this fell within that range... towards the higher end of the range but within the range nonetheless. Excellent experience! Check engine light was on and I went to Autozone where they told me that it was the Oil Pressure Switch that need to be changed out. I contacted Simba Automotive and through Yelp for an estimate and Manar, the manager, responded very quickly. I explained what the issue was and he quoted me an estimate. He was very courteous when doing so, and even when speaking to him in person! Some mechanics that I spoke with were very condescending. Also, other places would not quote me without doing a full diagnostics at a price. Granted, I understand that some problems are more complex than what the check engine light tells, but it seems to me that Manar knows his stuff so he quoted me a very fair price and allowed me to bring my own replacement part. My car maintenance was long overdue and I wanted to avoid the brand name stores like NTB, Firestone, etc. After doing about a week of research and calling around, I got a quote from Simba Automotive and was pleased to see all the 5-star ratings. When you arrive, you may or may not find parking right away due to a full lot. I knew this was typical of an auto shop so I had no complaints there. When I walked in, I was surprised on how efficient and organized the crew was. My quote was bought up and they honored it 100% with no added costs or unnecessary add-ons. During my wait there, one of the employees even offered to buy me a drink and was very nice. After my car was done, I paid exactly what I was quoted for and runs a lot better! Yes, there is a big wait time if other cars are there. Yes, you may have to leave it overnight. Wait times like this are typical and should be expected. If I ever need maintenance done in the future, I'll definitely visit this shop again! The excellent customer service and good environment more than makes up for the wait. Very satisfied! read more

Had some concerns with the leak inspection, the general manager followed up with me quickly and addressed all my concerns.

Unfortunately, I can't leave less than one star. I took my car to Simba and August, and I was charged $2,500 for a new steering rack, which still didn't work after they replaced it. I had to wait 5 days to get my car back, during which time I had to Uber to work. I took it back and they claimed that the new part was defective and had to be replaced. I was promised one day of work. It still took two days. Who knows if this one will work. They also never call to update or let you know what's happening while you're waiting and waiting for your car. read more
