I'm not 100% sure on what would be charged for this particular issued I looked it up online and this fell within that range... towards the higher end of the range but within the range nonetheless. BONUS, I checked in on Yelp and there was a 10% off labor coupon. That saved us about $40! Like I said, no one LOVES having to service a vehicle but when we have to, we'll be returning Simba Automotive!

They told me one thing was wrong with it, but told my father another thing was wrong with it. So, I brought the car back for them to check and work on this new sound that started after they initially worked on my car, for the sound to still be present after spending another $2,000. They assured me the $2,000 would fix the new sound. So the last $2,000 I paid was a complete waste because I ended up having to get another car. I tried to speak with the manager/owner about this matter, but they ignored me. I requested a refund, whole or partially, and they completely ignored me. This felt like a situation of guess and fix. They blamed it on a faulty part. I wanted to trust these people, but when it came down to it, I paid them $5,000 to fix my car, which I ended up having to get rid of for safety reasons. I am still waiting on a reply to these messages, a month later.

So I asked Robert the technician to communicate with Patrick the owner that I am not satisfied with rebuilt transmission it was still slipping and making a loud noise inside of the car. Patrick then bought a rebuilt transmission I go back and pick up my car and it was worst than the first time. I talked with Robert the technician again and asked him to call Patrick and had him relate the issues with the car once again. The following week Patrick called me saying he ended up purchasing a new transmission since they could not fix my transmission. A few days later I received a call that the car was ready. I picked it up today I still hear the noise inside of the vehicle as if I had my windows down, I've asked about this issue getting fixed but I was told that they don't know what it could be or why it's doing that. The car drives better but this noise is very loud while I'm driving, I don't like it at all. I think that they focus more on American cars versus imports. I was given a year warranty but have not seen or received any documentation showing that I have a brand new transmission. When I asked about documentation it was taken as if I didn't trust him but I just paid over 5K for this work. They had the gall to say he needed a new carburetor because it wouldn't start. He told them the carb was almost brand new and nothing was wrong with it and they never mentioned it again. It was also a half tank of gas less than when it was dropped off. I won't even bring it back to have any of this corrected, I have no trust in this shop.
