an FYI to anyone who needs work on their vehicle; DO NOT GO TO CLEAR LAKE AUTO SERVICE located at 15710 Galveston Rd in Webster !! Clear Lake Auto Service TRIPLE J's AUTO REPAIR IS THE BEST! Saved me thousands of dollars and so much time and stress. Long story short, I brought my truck to Clear Lake Auto shop, and they quoted me $2600 for a problem that "might not work" and I would be "gambling" this money. The alternative was to replace my entire transmission, which was quoted around $5700 for a used one, or $7200 for an also used transmission. I never received a clear answer on what was going on with my vehicle. I was also initially quoted $330 to drop the transmission and go inside (including the 2 hours of labor) + $165 diagnostic fee. When I saw the total for that was closer to $800 versus the $500 I was originally quoted, I knew something wasn't right. When I called about this pricing, they changed it back to $500 with no questions asked. Due to the lack of trust from this shop, I towed my vehicle to Triple J's Auto Repair in Pasadena and received a quote in less than 24 hours for $1100 to fix my truck. They were so responsive and explained everything to me. Had my truck ready for me quickly and couldn't have asked for an easier process better people, and better shop. SO THANKFUL. So, if you need any work done on your vehicle, I HIGHLY RECOMEND TRIPLE J's AUTO REPAIR @ 3005 Westside Dr in Pasadena !!!! read more

I used Triple J for a Previous State Inspection and thought it was a good but just routine job as is. Last week my Car died on me and I remembered I used them before and gave them a call. They were able to put me in contact with a fast and affordable tow that got the car within the day. When I got to the shop and had the problem figured out, they made quick work of the matter. Before I picked it up , Justin called and asked if I wanted to do my state inspection and it would be done when I arrived and save some time. I definitely recommend Justin and his father Jorge for the work they do. read more

I had a ticking noise coming from inside the engine. Jorge diagnosed the issue and offered 3 alternatives for repair. Triple J completed the repairs by the promised time at the price quoted. They have done a quality repair at an affordable price. I would definitely use Triple J's Auto Repair again. read more

My vehicle was stuck on park I was unable to turn my car on & when I was able to turn it on I pulled up this mechanic shop. They have a $95 diagnostic fee but it is waived if you get it fixed there. It ended up being my sensors on my 2016 Mazda needed some fixing for a total of $245 with the diagnostic fee waived. A week later my car is running smooth. read more

I had an appointment booked for today at 10 am and I was there since 9:30 am until 10:30 am and no one showed up and I've tried calling several times and no answer. I really do not recommend this place at all . A big waste of time. read more

Owner a rat!! Fix shit half way so you can come back more. Jorge also lie about filling up my oil to the require amount. Y'all be careful he started changing the price last minute, adding an extra 5- 8 bucks. read more

This business is convenient for people who don't have a lot of time during the weekdays. Been needing my inspection to renew my registration sticker and this was the fastest service I've had yet. The gentleman was very polite and patient. Didn't have to wait outside the building, so I saved myself from the awful Texas heat and I said I will come get my car inspected here next year. read more

Went in with an AC blower problem and talked to Jorge. He diagnosed the problem swiftly and thoroughly to make sure that it was the source of the problem. Got the part in, repaired, and drove out the same day. Easy process and fair prices. Overall good experience. read more

The a/c in my wife's Forerunner was blowing hot air. I took it to Pepboys and after waiting for over 2 weeks to get the part needed , they ordered the wrong part, so we waited another 4 days, we took the truck to another garage when they finally got the part. The mechanics at Pepboys couldn't believe the run around from the Manager (Richard) plus the fact that he was rude to my wife and told her if she didn't want to wait for the part, she could leave! We drove across the street after we found out they honored our Ext. Maintenance contract (Omega Auto Care). Thank God we found them. They were so considerate about our situation that we felt more then comfortable leaving the truck there for repair. Ethel Bell (service advisor) was so accomodating and went out of her way to help with the claim by making phone calls for us and monitoring the case over those 4 days, it was ready at the exact time she quoted us. I will recommend Triple J Automotive in Coral Springs, Florida to every I know who needs a trusting, helpful, compassionate mechanic that won't rip you off as Pepboys attempted to do. We ended up paying nothing (per contract) and Triple J's quote was half of their's. Thank you Triple J's for a great experience and we'll be seeing you again. Diane and Richard Wise. read more

I'm extremely sorry I took my car to this place. I've now heard several people talk about how bad they are. Will never use them or recommend them again. They also found my bad review and jumped on me about it by phone. I am a senior citizen, and I am not able to fight young strong people, so I was very scared that they might harm me, so I took my earlier review down. I decided that I should put my review back up and not be afraid of these people. read more

I've never felt more comfortable taking my car to a mechanic and knowing that they're there to help me and not steal people's money like other repair shops. I learned about Triple J's Auto repair through Intoxalock. They did an awesome job at installing my device and I will not be going anywhere else from now on. Thank you so much for all this business does read more

Great service! Easy access from Spencer. Super nice and family owned and operated. Always available if you have car questions. Highly recommended! read more

I bought a car from this shop after they had replaced the engine. Soon found out what shoddy work these people do. They actually cut both power steering lines (yes, the pressure line too) instead of disconnecting them properly, and spliced them back together using a piece of rubber hose and clamps. After 2 weeks driving the car, the pressure line separated at their splice. I was told that if it had happened in the first day or two that I had the car, they would have helped me. Now, though, I have to hire a wrecker to get it there... Found several other small problems too that should have been taken care of during the motor replacement, but were not. I did agree to an 'as is/no warranty' sale of the car, so I understand that they're 'not obligated' to help me here, but come on! Seeing what kind of work this shop puts out. I must recommend that everyone stay away from this place! read more

If you want to be treated with respect and dignity, don't go to this place. Jorge is always too "busy" to answer the phone or return messages. He quotes one price and completes work resulting in a HIGHER price. When questioned about it he'll belittle you and make you feel like you're the one in the wrong. read more

Jorge was great! I've been taking my car to him for many years and he always makes sure to get right on it without wasting any time! Last week my car was making really weird noises so I took it to him and he was able to tell me the problem with a very reasonable price and had my car back to me in no time! Recommend this place read more
