Left a review Nov 11, 2022 Took my car in for an inspection, and they BROKE my emergency brake handle! Then, did not even have the guts to let me know they had broken it. I was so angry to find this out a week later. I wouldn't recommend them to touch a little kid's wagon! AND, the owner is just now responding four years later? WELL, that alone should tell you what a lousy business this is. Still cannot believe they broke something and had the cojones to tell me what they did. When confronted, the guy in charge finally admitted to it. Said he would fix it but not pay to have it fixed. I WOULDN'T LET THEM TOUCH MY BICYCLE! Went in for an oil change and State inspection. at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. He explained that they would also do a free 32 point inspection that also had photos of concerns of possible issues with my vehicle that I could address immediately or in the near future. They identified rear brakes needing replaced I had already known I had an issue with my brakes, but I thought it was an issue with my front brakes instead . I was impressed that they could quickly identify and show me photos off the worn brake pads. I am very satisfied with their services and will be returning in the future. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My experience with Genesis Auto Repair has been nothing short of a nightmare. I brought my 2013 Dodge Challenger in for a check engine light, and they misdiagnosed the issue, botched the repair, and ultimately caused more damage to my vehicle--all while lying to me and demanding more money. I initially paid $1,800 for what they claimed was a timing chain issue. They couldn't even properly seal the oil pan, which led to my car running without oil and sustaining additional damage. After they supposedly "fixed" it, I picked up my car only to find the engine light still on and a disturbing knocking noise. When I called them, they told me not to drive it and had it towed back. From there, the situation spiraled out of control. They kept my car for months, constantly giving me the runaround, making excuse after excuse, and refusing to provide clear estimates or updates. At one point, they claimed they were sending my car to an engine specialist, Roland's Precision Machine, only for me to find out that was a complete lie--Roland's had never even touched my engine. Went to Roland's in person and spoke with the owner in person to clarify he never received my engine to work on. If they lied about that, what else were they dishonest about? Repeated Delays and Broken Promises. What made this experience even more frustrating was the number of times they promised my vehicle would be ready, only to push the date back again and again. Every week, I was told, "It should be done in a few days," or, "We figured out the issue and just need to finalize a couple of things." But then, when I checked in, it was always another excuse--they still couldn't figure out the noise, they were waiting on parts, or they needed more time. This happened over and over for two months. I was left completely in the dark with no clear answers. Finally, after replacing parts without my approval and keeping my car hostage for two months, they hit me with an outrageous $2,800 bill for repairs that were entirely their fault. To make things worse, they refused to release my vehicle until I paid in full--and in cash. When I confronted them, the manager, Mike, conveniently washed his hands of the situation, claiming it was "out of his control." Not surprisingly, Mike and other employees quit or were fired during this time period. Genesis Auto Repair is the definition of unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent. They take advantage of customers, perform shady business practices, and have zero accountability. I had trusted them for minor repairs before, but this experience exposed their true colors. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss--take your car anywhere else but here! read more

I hit a pot hole in my 2020 Ram 1500. Bent the rim just enough to mess up the ride. They had me in to do a quick tire rotation + inspection of my suspension/braking system. They did a great job and my truck rides great. Awesome dudes to talk to and very professional. I will be back. read more

STAY AWAY!!! Bad business practices all around...Mike the Mgr is a snail oil salesman who knows how to tell you exactly what you want to hear. Took my vehicle in for a minor taillight repair and they lost the keys to my vehicle. After 6 months of me being understanding and trying to work through all the mistruths and lies I was told they couldn't get keys for my vehicle and I need to pick it up they were done. After towing a perfectly good vehicle with no keys to a more reputable shop down the road is when I discovered this type of treatment is common at this place of business. I brought my car in for inspection and someone greeted me right away, was very professional and said they would have in done in about 15 minutes. They finished with my car quickly, checked me out and didn't try to up charge or say I needed anything fixed to complete the inspection. Highly recommend. read more

After a really bad experience at three different auto shops in town, Genesis is the only place I'll go. They don't try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge and always give me fair prices. At one point everyone had been telling me my car had a $1500 AC issue and Genesis informed me it was a $400 issue that had nothing to do with what everyone else had said. Fixed it quickly and it has worked like a charm for months. They never try to convince me other issues are present just to upsell, but come off as genuine and honest when I ask. I appreciate the speedy service, fair prices, treatment, and honesty. They've also always been polite and the waiting area is quite nice. read more

Misdiagnosed my car many times. Mike would never call back. It had to be towed twice after it was supposed to be repaired. Put the wrong trim piece on after they failed to secure it and it blowed off while driving. Blocked my calls. Mike said if I come back I'm trespassing. He said he would void my warranty on the work I paid for. The engine light came back on less than 1/4 mile down the road after I picked it up the last time. read more

My 2000 F150 was wobbling all over the place and I was in dire need of "something" Since I had Genesis do my inspection the previous year, and they treated me very well, I decided to call on them again. Setting up an appointment online was very simple. I received an email confirmation in a matter of minutes. I showed up a few minutes early and Zeke met me in the driveway. I explained to him what my old girl was suffering and we went for a test drive. Once we got back to the shop he said he would go over it with a fine tooth comb and NOT do anything until we discussed priority. He even drove me home! The guys in the shop worked their magick, and I received a call telling me that my suspension was just fine. All I really needed was back shocks, new rotors and brake pads on the front and new tires. (that's another story). Within a few hours she was ready to go. Zeke told me when I get new tires, he'd do the alignment for free! I took my old girl home, limping along on a very worn front tire. New tires the next day, and true to his word, got the alignment done in less than an hour. Now she's running smooth as silk, no shimmy or wobble.
