I had a fabulous experience with The Shop. As a woman I tend to be very cautious when choosing a mechanic but Anthony, the shop manager was amazing and went above and beyond to listen to me and do the FREE engine diagnostics and 16 point inspection letting me know all that was needed and in order or importance. They could have pushed for bunch of non imperative repairs but they did not. Cannot say enough good about this shop and the great people who work there. My car's timing belt broke and I coasted to a stop across from The Shop. The mechanics said the new timing belt broke because a part had not been replaced. I spent $1,024.00 for major engine repair and picked it up 10/07/11 with a one year/12,000 mile warranty on their work. On 02/13/12, the timing belt breaks and I have it towed to the shop for $140. The General Manager says the car is still under warranty. Two days later, the General Manager wants me to authorize work and refuses to honor the warranty. Blames a past fired employee for failing to replace the idler arm. My wife and I go to The Shop and the General Manager refuses to negotiate with us. Had car towed to A+ Auto Performance in Alvin for repairs. As a Senior Citizen, I feel that The Shop has taken me for a ride. Now I have to pay again for repairs. read more

I had a complete a/c overhaul done by this organization in the summer of 2011, on my 1992 Honda Accord which was, and still is, in pristine condition. This included the compressor, drier, expansion valve, and all seals etc...A few months after that, I noticed that the belts were squeaking pretty bad, and noticed that the compressor pulley was warped. I was told by another shop that this may have been because it was a remanufactured compressor and not a brand new one, and that it could last another few months, or a few years. It is now March 2014, about 2.5 years later, and the compressor went out, due to bad bearings and seals. Keep in mind that the original Honda compressor lasted 19 years. This time, I bought a brand new compressor, along with another new drier, and had it installed by a certified Honda mechanic. What he discovered just disgusted me. The 2 year old compressor had been either dropped, or hit with something, making a big dent in the pulley, thus causing it to become warped, and wear out very fast. The seals were not properly installed on the drier, the mechanic was able to unscrew the drier connectors by hand (he said that it's a wonder it even worked at all), and they left a bolt each off of the power steering pump, and the alternator when reassembling the parts. This car only had 80,000 miles on it when this was done, so the engine had not been touched, other than routine fluid maintenance up until that point. They also left off a brand new 134 conversion fitting from the high pressure line that I had just purchased. There is nothing that I can do about it now, since I just discovered all of this (you can't see these things hardly at all without pulling the parts, and I had no reason to look, since everything worked at the time). I wasted $1100 with this sham shop, and will NEVER use them again, or recommend them to ANYONE!!! read more
