It's a 30-35 minute drive for me, but I was told Edward is honest and trustworthy, so I decided to get a second opinion. I called on a Mon morning, and Edward mentioned he was pretty busy and suggested I come in on Tues January 6. He had a doctor's appointment that morning and asked us to arrive at 11:15 am, which we did. After explaining the issues, he diagnosed the problem by 12:30 pm and recommended four items to be fixed. The total quote came close to $2K which was more than I expected. His initial assessment aligned with what my former mechanic had said, but additional repairs--especially replacing the spark plugs. While that hurt the budget, I understood the necessity. I had afternoon commitments, so I asked if a loaner car was available. I truly appreciated Edward lending me his Toyota Camry so I could make it to my event. He promised my car would be ready by 5:30 pm and I returned to pick it up as scheduled. Unfortunately, within five minutes of driving, the engine light came on and the car began shaking slightly. I immediately returned, and Edward told me to keep the loaner car overnight and come back on Wednesday so he could run a more thorough diagnostic. On Wed around 11 am, he texted to say the car was ready. I picked it up at 1 pm, and I've been driving it for several days now with no issues.
