Before you sign the contract with these guys review multiple times and ask questions. Also verify the measurements yourself do not take their word. Once the contract is signed you are on hook with them. In my case the backsplash was 5inch they measured it 4inch later it costed me $400 dollar more and 3-4 days of delay on the project. Do not sign completion work either till you are satisfied. Before contract signing they were very responsive after that only communication via text message phone calls ignored always in meeting or with customer. Lost my trust with them. I went to their store and left measurements, they said they would call me with an estimate by the end of the day. 2 days later I called and they said "I'm working on your account right now." We had a new vanity installed and Texas Granite came out to install counter tops. They left a huge mess in the bathroom and globs of epoxy on the vanity. I called and sent photos. They sent guys out to "fix" the issues. They picked the epoxy off and colored in the holes with a SHARPIE MARKER! I have called and called no response until we email the company. They send another guy out who covers one of the marks with brown paint and leaves... Be very cautious when using the company. The quality and craftsmanship is poor at best. read more

I am a big supporter of local businesses and would have loved to give them rave reviews but I have a policy of speaking the truth. Our sink became unglued two months ago and despite repeated requests, photos, and contacts, they have not resolved this issue. I live less that 10 minutes from their office, so had they chosen to fix their mistakes from an install months before, inside an hours time, it could have been done and the review could have been different. Instead, likely I will have to engage a different company to make the fix and wind up suing Texas Granite and it's employees for deceptive trade practices. If you are considering a contractor for your project, best to take a chance on someone who will possibly stand behind their work because I know know for certain, Texas Granite will not. read more

So I said ok it happens let's try again and this company is a joke. They send 2 installers that can't measure right. They are slow to fix problems incurred from installation once you've paid them. The downdraft was not centered on the granite and we tried to explain to the workers but no one spoke English. Also, unless you want to re-attach the sink, stove, and downdraft - don't use these people. Check out the BBB rating- they received an F. So disappointed, moved into a custom home in Van Alstyne TX mid Feb 2021 (during IceMageddon 2021). Then on Monther's Day 5/09/2021, while letting the dishes soak in our kitchen sink, the sink literally fell out of the granite full of water and dishes from breakfast, crashing to the bottom of the cabinet under the sink. The garbage disposal is all that kept the sink from completely touching the floor of the cabinet. To say it was a mess is an undrerstatement, and it absolutely put a damper (literally and physically) on the Mother's Day breakfast that my husband and children had made for me. It was very clear immediately why it fell out, there was zero silicone caulk on the sink's perimeter edge, adhering it to the granite. However, there were 4 large masking tape areas (1 torn off piecce on each side of the sink), with a glob of silicone caulk under each piece of tape, that was holding the entire sink to the granite. We had never seen anything like it. I have actually helped put in sinks, in previous homes, adhering the sink to the granite, so I even know how it's supposed to be done. The home builder advised us to contact Texas Tile and Granite as they had installed all the granite and sinks throughout the house. When they arrived to repair the sink, they attached the sink with silicone this time, but instead of the metal posts that go under each side of the sink normally, there is a piece of random wood holding each side of the sink up with 3 screws drilled into the sides of the cabinet wall. All I know is, I will tell everyone that I come in contact with moving forward in life, not to use this company. They should be ashamed that they do such incredibly poor and lazy work. They get a solid F rating from this household. read more

I shopped around and you cannot beat the great prices for granite countertops at Texas Granite. They sold me a beautiful exotic by the foot (I did not have to buy a whole 2nd slab). Installation was great and the whole experience purchasing from them exceeded my expectations. You would be better off to shop around. I had Texas Granite prepare estimate for me. When it came time to sign the 8 pages of waivers and conditions-I requested to speak to the technicians that would be preparing my vanity top. I was told this was not possible. On their website they say they have prices as low as $25/sq ft. I made a selection from a remnant and it came out to almost $100/sq ft. I went to Magicmarble.com and got a better piece for 1/2 the price and next day installation. read more

Numerous times we did not receive calls back. Installers were 3 1/2 hours late and we were not notified that they would be late until we called. They did not return the sink drain or disposal connections they removed. when we called and requested they be returned immediately; they promised to look into it and call back. we never heard from them and had to go and purchase new ($163). Price was good but every other aspect of this business is a total unprofessional joke. They broke one of my quartzite counter tops and tried to glue it, they did not have my remnant or hot pad on the truck and actually argued with me about it. They cut the stone on site with a hand tool when it did not fit and chipped an edge, they said it was no big deal because the backsplash would cover it. I had to use some creative tile laying and caulk placement to hide their obvious mistake.Then when I complained about an epoxy repair on the stone and refused to pay, Texas Granite and Tile got mad at me and refused to deliver the hot pad and remnant which they forgot the first time. I told them I would not pay and they could simply sue me so they agreed to deliver along with a replacement piece for the section they GLUED. When they finally showed up the replacement piece had more epoxy on it than the first repair... Apparently they don't know how to properly cut Quartzite. I suspect they refused to buy new sharp blades. .. Sasha/Maria in the office, was HORRIBLE, she argued, made excuses and flat out lied just about every time I spoke with her. These negative reviews are TOTALLY accurate, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TEXAS TILE AND GRANITE! You have been warned! Pay the few hundred extra for a real installer, CHOICE STONE in Haltom City did my bathrooms and was 300 more for my kitchen, I should have used them. read more

We had to spend $5400 for a different company to come fix what Texas Granite and Tile screwed up....granite cracked/chipped in several places, uneven mounting, and didn't know how to install the corbels (support mounts). We learned too late about the bbb F rating, they seem to be able to finagle an A rating at times but do not keep it long. read more
