I went to DFW Flooring and met Mike Spitzbeg. He is a nice man who has lots of personality. Mike…read morelistened when I told him what I wanted and he showed me many options. He answered all of my questions. Picking the flooring was painless... I went with tile, new carpeting and new baseboards. The next step was Mike coming to my house and taking measurements and walking through the current flooring. This was a quick process, and he wrote the cost sheet up. In my opinion, the pricing was fair and I paid the required half up front. The job was quoted at 3 days but took more like 11 days. The crew was ran by Terrance Brooks. One thing I will say is important is who is in your home. You will be spending a lot of time with the contractors. Terrance and his crew were punctual and communicated with me well the time they were here. I had a great experience with DFW Flooring and Mike Spitzbeg! They really took the time to listen to my needs and provided a personalized, thoughtful approach. Even though the project took longer than originally estimated, Terrance Brooks and his crew did a great job!! The floors look Amazing and I am happy with my purchase and the experience I had with DFW Flooring.

I feel like there were several miscommunications and untruths…read more When we had our sales rep out one of the selling tactics that was give from her boss is that they said there was an abundance amount of the High Ball flooring in stock so they gave us an extra discount, and another discount for this and another discount for that. I didn't really like all those selling tactics. Just give the customer straight up facts and honest estimate. Not all these selling tactics. This will improve your customer experience. The day before we were told they didn't have enough product for our job so they were not going to be able to do our job in one day as promised. What do you mean??? This is why you gave us one of those 500 discounts..... Then they called and said they could do the job but it was going to take 2 days not one as promised in the original agreement. David and Juan, the installers, arrived. They did an amazing job. They relived all my frustrations and ended my experience from a bad to an amazing experience. I'm hoping you will truly that my advice seriously because all the estimates I received all the companies and these selling/discount tactics. This doesn't make for a great customer experience. I would highly suggest changing the way the sell your product if you want to become known as the best.

WARNING: Stay far away from 50Floor unless you want a nightmare on your hands…read more I spent nearly $15,000 directly with 50Floor for flooring installation that was sold to me as a lifetime warranty job on both materials and labor. Including damages and repairs caused by their poor work, my total out-of-pocket cost has approached $20,000. From the start, this was a disaster. The original contractor--who is supposedly part of 50Floor--brought in random workers from his personal company to rush what was supposed to be a 5-day job into 3 days. Why? Because they wanted to bail early and get to a higher-paying job. These workers openly admitted to me that 50Floor rips off both customers and installers, and that most of the money I paid went straight into the salesperson's pocket, not into quality work or service. During installation, regional leadership and even someone from another market showed up to inspect. But after that day, the installers threatened me personally, handing me their cell phone and telling me not to call corporate because they don't like interference. If that isn't a massive red flag, I don't know what is. The floors were laid over chunks of leftover ceramic tile that were never removed properly. On top of that, the leveling compound they poured leaked out and stained my entire back patio concrete, a costly repair I had to cover myself. Their shoddy work caused additional damage to my home--sheetrock cracks, baseboard damage, and patio damage that have added thousands more in repair costs beyond the floor. The flooring itself started failing immediately. I reported this well within the warranty period: planks were lifting, cracking, and separating everywhere due to poor prep and installation. The "best technician" 50Floor sent out inspected the floor on his hands and knees, literally laughed, and said the entire floor needed to be completely redone. If that expert's opinion doesn't tell you how bad this was, nothing will. I have had multiple serious back procedures, making it physically impossible for me to rip up my entire house to fix this mess immediately. Because of the massive effort and expense of moving all my belongings twice, I delayed repairs on their recommendation. Fast forward to four months after my warranty expired, I reached out to request repairs on just two small, easily accessible problem areas--literally spots no bigger than a half-dollar coin. Instead of help, I was met with cold dismissal and told I had to pay hundreds of dollars for materials that were supposed to be under a lifetime warranty, plus even more for labor. This is not just poor service--it's a blatant betrayal. They lied about the warranty, ignored their responsibilities, and treated me like a cash cow. The entire experience has been a financial and emotional nightmare. If you value your money, your home, and your sanity, do not use 50Floor. They sell you a dream and deliver a disaster. Their customer service is dismissive and unprofessional, and their installers are borderline threatening. I have comprehensive documentation--emails, photos, videos--to prove every word. Take my advice: look elsewhere. You'll save yourself thousands and countless headaches.
