Not sure what the other guy's problem is, but I've been going to them for a long time (couple of decades) to have my personally owned commercial radios programmed and they have always accommodated me. I called just prior to going there to make sure someone would be there, then went there right then. That's all it takes.
Anyway, they are usually polite and helpful. Anytime I need to get my Motorola radios reprogrammed, I go there. Haven't had to go lately as the frequencies I use haven't changed at all, so I just go whenever I buy a new handheld. Sure beats having to find someone in Houston to program them and then drive there and possibly have to leave the radios and pick them up later. read more
