From start to finish, the looking, test driving, and purchase was a FLAWLESS experience. From the minute my daughter and I walked into the showroom, (which is a BEAUTIFUL classic car museum...) we literally felt like we made new friends. Bryan, the GM, was incredibly welcoming and friendly...and the minute we told him we lived in Frisco, we got a history lesson that we'll never forget! Our salesman was Jack...well, I cannot say enough about this young man. What an ABSOLUTE GEM of a human. Lemme just say that all of these BIG pre-owned car dealerships (and we visited NO LESS than 8, maybe more...it was miserable) could learn a thing or two from him about selling a car. No one chased me around the lot, no one blew up my email or rang my phone off of the hook. He let us look around at OUR PACE, was VERY knowledgeable on the cars we were interested in, and there was ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE WHATSOEVER. None. Let me add- they have a refrigerator in their showroom full of different sodas and water...that was literally the coldest Dr Pepper I've ever had. I'm stopping by for another one next time I'm in that part of town- and will expect more on the history of Frisco from Bryan while I'm there! Anyway, the buying process.... A lovely lady by the name of Ms Parvin put all of our paperwork together last Friday evening. We walked into Texas Car One just before 2:00 Saturday and were driving away by 2:15, cold Dr Pepper in hand - she was SO kind and KNEW we were in a hurry to make my sons baseball game back in Frisco, so she explained things quickly but VERY THOROUGHLY. My daughter is THRILLED. She (WE) LOVE her "new" Volkswagon Tiguan!! WE WILL BE BACK! I look forward to doing business with these fine folks again, sooner than later! I'd give 10 stars of if I could! Thank you all! read more

Texas Car One - Car Dealers Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

Terrible place don't buy a car here they will sell you a lemon and be okay with it. This place is a joke

My niece came to this dealership needing a car. She found a really cute car but needed a co-signer. She called me and of course I agreed to it since she is a responsible hard working young woman, and I would do anything for her. I mean I helped raise her and she is like my own child. I emailed everything over to the dealership and she was approved with my credit as a cosigner. She signed her paperwork that night and then we both went back up there the following morning for me to sign my copies because I was at work when she went up there. I sat down with the finance manager and he had everything ready. He had already gone over everything with her and just needed my signatures. No problem....but one. I wasn't paying attention and didn't even notice I was signing as the borrower and she had signed as the co-signer the night before. She didn't even notice. In fact, I signed where she didn't and blindly signed the documents not even noticing they had switched me as the cosigner to the number one borrower and her as the cosigner. Ok. Well the finance manager did not go over a single document with me. Not one. He just said everything is already approved sign here and here and here. No problem. Except when it comes to the GAP insurance. The night before, she declined the insurance because it was going to raise her payment higher. She is young and not experienced so she just said no she didn't want it. It wasn't even mentioned to me and I am the borrower. I would have told the dealership I had to have the GAP insurance, and my niece would just have to pay for it if she wanted the car. But it wasn't even brought up to me. Now I have not financed a car since 1998, and I still have and drive that mustang. That is the last car I ever paid for. So its been awhile. However, GAP insurance is a must and should have been offered to me. Now all of this is my fault, I get that. Not noticing the finance man switch the financing to my name and my niece being young and not experienced at buy a car. So all of this is my fault I understand. Of course I feel stupid. That is not the point. It is the dealerships responsibility to go over everything and especially let the person signing the papers know hey YOU are the one buying this car, not your niece. In fact, she was on as a cosigner only so she could get the car insured. Why didn't the finance man go over everything with me including did I want the GAP insurance? I mean I AM the borrower and it would have been MY decision not my nieces. So, I did some research and the old bait and switch is very common with dealerships. They switch the financing to the strongest borrower. Why didn't the man tell my niece hey, your aunt is actually buying this car. She wanted to do everything on her own and hated to even ask me if I would cosign. But the underhanded way this dealership told me and my niece I was the cosigner and then switched it to me being the borrower is unacceptable. I know it is my fault. I work 55 hours a week and I am tired and that day was no exception. Car salesmen are the worst of the worst. Underhanded greedy misleading salesmen. This dealership is NO exception. Please if you are an inexperienced vehicle purchaser, take someone else with you that can catch this stuff. Don't go when you are tired. Have the finance man go over everything with you page by page. And do not just sit and sign while the salesman just shoves the papers in your face and says sign here and here and here. Don't blindly sign anything. And IF you buy a car always buy the GAP insurance. That's a no brainer. Do better salesmen, do better. The finance manager Brian should be ashamed of himself, but he isn't. Underhanded people never are. Sincerely, a tired, over worked not a lot of sleep aunt who would do anything for her niece. read more

Zero stars. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Not a single positive thing to say about this dealership. Yes, I am an actual customer and if you are on the fence-feel free to contact me and I will share my experience and help you find a better dealer elsewhere. There is no possible way to have a worse experience than we had buying this vehicle. I would NEVER recommend this dealership or any of the employees I dealt with-even to someone I dislike. If you still purchase a vehicle after this warning-you deserve what you get. You should expect no employee or manager to take any responsibility and you should not trust what they are telling you. They have proven time and time again that they do not care about the customer at all and are not reliable people or people who you should do business with. They're financing is not competitive, and if you use your own credit union (like I did), expect it to take around 3 weeks before you have your vehicle due to their self-serving policies. I love to write positive reviews for businesses that try hard and deliver a good product with good customer service. I rarely write a negative review but I do not want anyone else to have to go through the experience that I did. This dealership is incompetent, dishonest and overall extremely poorly run. I learned my lesson-only use established, trusted dealerships or individuals. I cannot recommend an establishment less than this one. read more

Our experience with Texas Car One was a very pleasant one. Really cool showroom full of neat old cars! We dealt with Jack and he was attentive and courteous. He is definitely our kind of salesman. He didn't pressure us one bit or hover over us while we inspected the vehicle. Very nice guy, that Jack! Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, they made the paperwork process smooth and efficient. The staff we encountered were friendly and personable. We would recommend Texas Car One to anyone in the market for another vehicle. read more

Very nice staff. Helpful and well versed in selling cars. Jack was the salesperson and was attentive, before I even showed up, he sent me a video he took of the car! Onie on site, he showed me the CarFax document on the car and an Experian report. Let me inspect the car inside and out. New tires on car, clean engine and not even a door ding outside, which impressed me. Besides the service, the price per the mileage could not be beat. BTW: Texas Car One is a no-haggle dealership. I was in and out in less that 2.5 hours. Thank you! read more

I would give less than a full star if it was offered. These people are awful. Pulled to by a VW Beetle that was represented as extremely nice. The entire care was a repaint! It still had overspray all over it. Its front right fender looked painted buy a maze head. Bondo and cut marks everywhere. Left rear bumber corner was viber patched and already cracking. I walked away. Funny thing, when leaving, I had to circle their facility. The back is a barn with the body shop in it. It was a bigger facility than their entire show room and sales facility. Buyers be ware. Sales staff are extremely friendly....by design, not sincerity. read more

I just want to make everyone aware my experience with texas car one dealership. I purchased a vehicle that had 42,000 miles on a 2012 in November of 2023. I went to trade this vehicle in for a newer car on August of 2024. When the dealership pulled up the carfax, it showed an odometer roll back, so the vehicle i purchased for 12,000$ with 42,000 miles, really had 142,000 miles on it. I am upset and hurt that they were so dishonest to make a few bucks. I have reached out to a lawyer to see what i can do about this situation, so everyone just be aware. read more

i bought a 2007 toyota fj cruiser, and they sold me a toyota lemon! they didn't tell me that there was rust that was decaying underneath the car. so far i've had to invest out of my own pocket close to $10,000 out of my own pocket on top of the 26,000 i paid for it. dont ever go to these people unless you know what youre getting into with them! they should be reported to the bbb for fraudulence in their selling of vehicles! read more

I drove from Granbury to check out a Jeep in their inventory that was suppose to be ready to go and in good shape. Upon arrival I found a Jeep completely rusted out underneath and I could actually poke my finger through the rusted out rock shields. Additionally, I found that there wasn't even a front drive shaft from the transfer case to the front differential. Lots of lipstick on this pig, but still smelled. Run away!!! read more

Great experience at this dealership. Very friendly staff. The financing process was quick and easy and I got a better rate than at my local bank. I was in an out of this dealership in no time with the car I was looking for. I'll definitely be back and I recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a great used car. read more

If we could rate Texas Car One any higher than five stars, we would heartily! We bought a 2007 Jeep from JJ who was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. A couple days after the purchase we had a problem starting the engine. We called Austin and he told us to let him handle it. After going over everything under the hood, it turned out to be my error, not a problem with the car! They went above and beyond any expectations and even replaced a couple things that didn't need it. We recommend them to anyone looking for a good used Jeep! read more

***UPDATE 2**** Just talked to Austin, the owner. Apparently, it's our responsibility as the customers to fix his reputation on the internet before he will do anything to make this right. He lectured me on how to buy a used car and said that this happens frequently when people drive a car off his lot. I am not going to post a five star review just to get my vehicle fixed, not that I think he would live up to his end of the deal anyways. Hopefully this helps someone out there not get taken advantage of the way my family was taken advantage of. ***UPDATE*** Now they are saying they won't even fix the wiper fluid motor they said they would fix (and shook on) as a result of this review. Direct quote from Jason, "you called us crooks in the review and so we're going to act like crooks." We have reported them to the better business bureau and are exploring our legal options. Seriously, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. We wish we had. Terrible, unprofessional customer service. We are appalled. *** Buyer Beware! We recently bought a 2012 Honda Odyssey from these people and once home found a plethora of issues. The power seat on the passenger side would not move forward or backwards, the heated seat on the driver's side would not work, one of the sunshades in the back was broken, and the windshield wiper fluid motor was broken. All of these were things we didn't think to check ahead of time. We called to have it fixed and the day we were supposed to take it in, the battery died.... Once we finally got it started and were able to take it back, their mechanics looked at it and were apparently unable to fix it. The ONLY thing they would fix was the wiper fluid motor. UM WE CAN'T MOVE THE PASSENGER SEAT! That's a pretty big deal... They don't care. They refused to give us any money back to fix the car. We feel so screwed. We have bought used cars before and never had anything like this happen. These people are CROOKS! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! read more

5 star service! From start to almost finish with these gentlemen, they were fantastic. They ended up not having the color that we were looking for, but if they did, we would have been extremely happy to purchase with them. They offered to move mountains for us (not literally) but in the end, it came down to the color. Ed was fantastic, a true professional and we will definitely be looking you up for our next purchase. Thanks again guys! read more

Our experience here was not the best. We called about two different jeeps, then specified which one we wanted to look at. After arranging child care, withdrawing nearly 19k in cash, taking off work early and then driving 90 minutes one way, we get to the dealer only to find that the jeep we drove to look at was not there. Keep in mind, I communicated which jeep I wanted to look at, and kept the confused salesman Dennis informed of my travel status. Further, I called prior to driving there to verify that the jeep was still there. I was assured that it was still there and confused Dennis stated he did double check to make sure. Dennis also pressured me to place a non-refundable $500 deposit to "hold" the jeep, which I declined. After arrival, he showed us a jeep that was similar, but not the jeep requested. Of course we wanted to see the jeep we came to look at, so they had us walk around in the lot (over 100 degrees outside) looking for it with the confused salesman Dennis. We spent about 15 minutes looking for the jeep, when finally he figured out it wasn't even there. The owner got involved at that point, and tried some high pressure sales tactics to get me to buy a different jeep that had mechanical issues (brakes were dragging hard), wanting me to buy it, and then make another trip tp pick it up after he repaired it (three hour round trip). I asked him to deliver it, he refused saying that I could set up transport on my own, he did not want to be liable. Keep in mind, these guys have over 40 jeeps for sale, I feel like they should know what is going on with all things jeep. They don't even know the difference between a 6 speed and a 5 speed (confused Edward). Needless to say, we left empty handed and I will never ever buy anything from them, this was a pretty bad experience. Also, they are a "no haggle" dealer, which means they price their stuff too high and will not bargain even a little with you. Save yourself some trouble and skip shopping here. read more
