For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. If you come across a clean, unmolested 1990 to 1993 Mustang convertible, give me a call!

There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

The buying experience started with Rocky Wall a little over a year ago. After I described exactly what I wanted, Mr. Wall did his due diligence and found 'our' truck on a freight car in Mesquite. Great buying experience. Fast forward to Jan, 2026, our truck developed a problem and would not leave our garage under its own power. I called the dealer and talked with Mr. Trey Russell, Mr. Garrett Tidman, and Mr. Will Miller. They, each one, reassured me that I would be taken care of! What an understatement! That team sent a wrecker, picked up my truck, fixed it, and returned my truck to me! I have never encountered customer service like Five Star Carrollton provided. First rate employees taking care of the customers! They earned my business! I will stay loyal to Five Star as they stayed loyal to me. Doug Plume

I was left stranded in Frisco after they said the recall wasnt that important, and shouldn't effect me. To make things worse, the service department argued with me every time about getting the loaner vehicle that was part of my warranty agreement. I purchased a car that had the engine light on & driver headlight needed replaced. He committed to repair was "worked on" after little over a week said it was repaired! Engine light was off & the headlight was replaced, He said needed to add additional 500 to price for the repairs he made, I asked if it passed inspection? "Yes" Produced a fraudulent inspection, never would have passed otherwise. Next day took vehicle to have the fluids checked, make sure oil was changed. On the report mechanic had written "Engine light on at arrival" He checked the code, said "it was an old code" (Catalytic Converter) I told him the dealer repaired it. He reset something to turn off the engine light & added sea foam to see if that would take care of it. I realized later the dealer had also just reset, for it to pass inspection. Within a week the car stopped as I was making a left turn, towed to shop battery needed to be replaced & the tension belt. Engine light still on the Catalytic Converter needs to be replaced! He is a scam, don't believe anything he says. The repairs that have been done & still needs in excess of 4500! He is in violation of "Texas Deceptive Trade Practice Act" all these items were known to him. Produced a fraudulent inspection. He has a mechanic on site that repairs the vehicles. Tried to work w/him to pay for the repairs, or take the vehicle back. 73, Disabled and was accompanied by person who knows what to look for initially, is why the car was left his commit to repair. He only replaced the headlight. I don't drive alot but I do need a reliable vehicle, I can't afford to to have it stop again in traffic at night without lights waiting for a tow truck. A police office parked behind my car until the tow truck came. The depth of his lies & unwilling to resolve is not worth the risk of injury to me. BEWARE

I don't usually leave reviews, but RPM Garage absolutely deserves it…read more I've bought a handful of cars over the years, and this was hands down the best experience I've had. From the first call to the moment I drove off, everything felt straightforward, honest, and actually enjoyable--which is rare when buying a car. The inventory is on a completely different level. You can tell these guys are true car enthusiasts, not just a typical dealership trying to push units. The car I purchased was exactly as described--no surprises, no games. They were transparent about everything and encouraged me to get a PPI, which gave me even more confidence in the purchase. The whole team was professional but still very laid back. No pressure at all, just good conversation and real knowledge about the cars they sell. Paperwork was quick and smooth, and they handled everything efficiently. What stood out the most is how much they actually care about the customer experience. You're not just another deal to them--they take pride in what they do, and it shows. If you're even thinking about buying a car from RPM Garage, just do it. I'll definitely be back for my next one.

After that fiasco I decided to visit RPM garage and look at their inventory, and they have some really nice cars! If you go here ask for Trinity, he was super helpful and communicative. He practically restored my faith in car dealerships. He even was kind enough to take the car to get a PPI (any dealership worth their salt should let you PPI a car), it underwent a full inspection including bore scoping, and he even paid to have the spark plugs changed out of his own pocket! RPM has a real nice showroom, if you're a car guy or just anyone who likes fast and good looking cars, you won't regret stopping by here! Super happy with my new (to me) Porsche! Edit: to the 0 start reviews, these are used cars and NOT certified pre-owned cars. The condition of the car is entirely dependent on how well it was maintained by the previous owners, that is why you pay the $200 and get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) so you're not left with thousands in repairs. Thought this was common knowledge...
