Took my vehicle in for a tire rotate, balance, alignment, and oil change. Dropped my car off at 7:45am. Waited all day to get a call just for them to tell me my car has a list of repairs that need to be serviced. Told me my tires need to be replaced, tires have 20k miles on them. Told me all my air filters needed to be replaced. I replaced them myself 3 months ago. Along with an insane list of of issues. Telling me all 4 brakes rotors and pads were going to cost $1200. Finally picked my car up at the end of the day. No oil change, nothing done to the tires AT ALL. Charged me $11 to top off my oil. Teton Motors Subaru, thanks but no thanks. Insane rip off. Nothing completed that I requested. Waste of a day and my time. read more

Although I arrived on time for appointment with salesman after driving 140 miles of mountainous terrain on two lane state highways with heavy traffic I asked if we could do business the following day as I was very tired. Very disappointed. They were completely unwilling to negotiate ANYTHING. Wouldn't budge on price or add anything. Surprisingly according to them, the salesman is not allowed to do anything without owner approval and of course owner is never available even by phone. Finance person was super unfriendly and not helpful at all even though we didn't even need a loan. Yes, we paid cash and still got treated like we didn't matter at all. This was the 5th vehicle we have bought in 2 years (between personal, business and family), and it will be the one and only from this dealership. If we weren't so short on time for this purchase, we would definitely have gone to Rexburg or Idaho Falls. They definitely could have gotten a lot of business from us, but they didn't care. I was traveling through Jackson hole and I had mistakenly blown both of my 12v accessory ports. Upon stopping in the parts area, the manager had Dalton come out and check my fuses. Two fuses were checked and replaced with extras in the car free of charge. The technician Dalton was speedy and professional. Can't recommend this dealership enough. Good people! There are 3 I's in team - Dav(i)d, R(i)ck and Maur(i)n Ever since I got taken for a ride when I bought my first car out of college, I have made it a point to pay in cash, trade nothing in to the dealer and increasingly rely on the internet to make my car acquisitions. Unfortunately, the lack of any competing dealerships within 2 and a half hours, supposedly nearby dealers whose directions to their stores include how and when to traverse mountain passes, and my need to lease (and through my company at that), forced me into uncomfortable territory. Hence I found myself crossing the threshold of Teton Motors Subaru. To my surprise, the experience was significantly less painful and expensive than I expected. The salesperson David was informative. He went through his inventory and found the basic Outback I wanted to buy instead of the loaded Outback he preferred to sell. He went through the credit process quickly. When there was a problem about my company being on the title, he spent the time to make it happen instead of spending the time explaining how company ownership was possible but that would cost me thousands extra. The sales manager Rick was straightforward. He did not require that I trap myself in the dealership for hours. More important, he did not give me confusing numbers that generally lead to a higher lease price. Instead he sent a couple of emails that broke down the lease payments and answered a few questions. When he knew that I knew Subaru was advertising incentives, he gave me the incentives rather than represent that the incentives were misprints, outdated, or just not something he was willing to give. The finance manager Maurin was honest and patient. She had to upsell me to the usual insurance programs that add to the dealership bottom line. However, she at least tried to match my specific needs to the benefits of her products. She did not subject me to hard sell when I clearly had no need to insure my tires. Moreover, when I questioned a payment item (turned out I was wrong), she tried to understand my query and use resources available to her to give me a satisfactory answer. Mind you, this is a car dealership and not a charity. I am sure Teton Motors Subaru made a fair profit on me. Nevertheless, they made me feel my experience was just as close to fair as it was to profit. read more

Shaun was extremely helpful and professional, gave me a great price on the car, and arranged for shipping to my office in San Francisco. We were traveling from California and had issues with our Ford truck. We made an appointment and even though things were booked, the mechanic looked at the truck, made an assessment, and ordered the parts. We were expecting to have to stay longer due to his schedule, but he rearranged his schedule and made the fixes. We had previously had someone work on it in Idaho which did not fix the problem. I cannot say enough about how accommodating, professional, and competent that the staff were. If I ever were to pass through there again, I would go there for some reason just to give them the business.
