Thankfully Flat Creek was able to dispatch a driver quickly and help me out with their flat bed. They had a bunch of experience with Tesla's which made it even better because a lot of tow companies don't know how to deal with them or even want to touch them, so it was great to have some really professional drivers show up and help me out. My car was totaled (front end damage - nothing ejected from the vehicle) and Flat Creek showed up at the scene to take the car away. When I came a couple days later to get my belongings from their "secure lot" stuff was missing and the middle console had been cleaned out. No one would have had access to it but their employees. Nothing of significant value (phone charger, Bluetooth earpiece, etc) but after dealing with the accident it was incredibly violating to be robbed by the tow company too. That's a long weekend, the car wheel started shaking bad and getting worse after 800 plus miles on the road. We happened to see the store which was the only one that opens on sunday. We were lucky to be told the tires got bubbled and could've exploded on the road. All four tires got replaced and we were very happy. it's pretty pricy though. read more

This place claims to have the best price for tires in town. When I called to ask about how much two tires for my car would cost their price of 300 dollars was 50 bucks over the big o tires. And that price is 120 dollars over what a dealership In Los Angeles charged me for tires I bought while traveling. They claim that they can offer better prices because they have access to more suppliers. I imagine the tires are the same base cost. Which puts the cost for these tires well below 180 bucks. I would not trust these people. Update: the Los Angeles tire shops also were trying to sell the tire for 250 and 290 dollars, I was only able to get a fair price from a car dealerships service department. I imagine your markup on the tire is close to 100 percent how is that fair? I know I can get it for 180, the tire must cost less then that. read more

I waited 3 weeks and paid $700 to have a tire repaired on my plow truck. As you can see in the video the job is not finished. We decided to hire someone else to finish the job because the Owner, Paul, became very angry and began yelling over the phone degrading me and boasting about how big his company was when I demanded that he follow through on making this right. The part of the conversation which I decided to submit this as a review was when I said thank God someone wasn't hurt or killed because we caught the loose tire before it went on the road. Paul said in several different forms that he didn't care. When It's your time to go, it's your time to go. Think about that the next time you have this company change your tire, tow your car, or assist you in an emergency. BUYER BEWARE. read more

Having a hard time believing some of the really bad reviews. My wife and I were on 191 between Yellowstone and Jackson when a deer ran out in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and felt a pop. Turns out I blew a rusted out brake line. Next time I put the brakes on, the pedal went to the floor. Long story short, a couple hours later, Whitney came and put my Excursion on her flatbed (super nice young lady and very thorough) and drove us to Jackson. The tow was over 50 miles and cost only $200 (maybe because it was AAA, I don't know), but that's what Whitney told me before we left and that's what it was. Needed all new brake lines and 2 new front calipers. Whitney, Wes, Paul and Kirby couldn't have been better! This was the first day of our vacation (thankfully, wasn't pulling my 26' travel trailer at the time) and they took it right in, repaired it, and with only a minor issue with incorrect charges got it all corrected and got us back on the road. We were very satisfied with how we were treated, their professionalism, and the quality of the work. The rest of our time out West was fantastic, so we're very grateful for all that the folks at Flat Creek Towing did for us! read more

Kieth at Flat Creek told me specifically they would charge me one amount, then when it came time to pay that price was doubled. Use them as a AAA customer tow service, but have your car towed to another shop. Very dishonest untrustworthy business practices. read more

When we nailed a deer with our van the sheriff had to call these guys b/c no one else was available. They charged our insurance company in excess of $2800.00 for an 8 mile tow and 4 days storage (over the weekend). It took 3 phone calls from me, 3 from my agent, and me walking into their office to get a copy of the invoice out of them. Possibly criminal. Do. Not. Use!! read more

Do not use this service ever. I was charged $150 fee for two full days of "storage" when they had my car for barely over 12 hours. They will nickel and dime any opportunity they can take and are very evasive about their charges and why they charge you what they do. Pretty sketchy and I would take all their other reviews into consideration before giving them any business. read more

For the short story, JUST DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Because people there are not honest, they just want a quick cash crab from tourists. For the long story, here we go. Lets start with the conversation I had with them, I will use the simplified word to keep it short. "Could you tow my car?" "Yes, are you a tourist or a local?" "I am a tourist." "Ok, where are you we will get our tow truck right there." "I'm in Yellow stone..."(told her where we are) "Alright our truck will be right there." "Wait should you tell me the price of the towing first?" "Oh yes, it will be around 300 - 400 depend on the traffic condition, we will sent our truck right now, see you later." "Could you wait a second please, is there any good auto-shop that you could recommend in Jackson?" "We can also do auto repair, too if you want to, once your car got there we will start working on it." "Sounds good, see you later." Then I waited for two and half hour for the tow truck, which is understandable consider there might be a heavy traffic, but I check the map, it is 42,6 miles and should took an hour. Then the tow truck arrived, towed our car, during the ride I talked to the tow truck driver and he told me they are also do auto service, he told me once our car got there they will check the car right away and fix it as soon as possible, and there are mechanic in the shop 24 hours.. Everything works great till what happened next. I arrived at the workshop at 3:30 p.m. I said the front desk that is it possible for someone to take a look at my car, he said no, because the shop is closing soon (which is 4:00 pm) and the mechanic is going home, then I ask the truck driver that he said there are mechanic here 24 hours, then they said only if its an emergency they will have their mechanic working over night, and the mechanic have something important happened in his house so he have to go back. I ask that the lady I had telephone with said once our car got into your shop you are starting to working on it. Then the front desk guy started to lie in front of my face and says that he is the only guy taking the phone and he did not say that, he start to roll his eyes and lose his patience. I tried to tell him there is another lady talked to me on the phone but he insist he is the one on the phone. Then their boss shows up and says "I hear you on the phone with our girl, and we will take a look on your car now and get back to you tomorrow.". During that conversation, I can tell two things, first, there mechanic is still in the shop otherwise they can not work on my car, second, the front desk guy lied two times in front of a customer's face. But I still leave my car to them because I have no other solution. Later that day, I got a new friend through Uber and he told me he know another auto-shop and I should try my luck at that place. I said lets see what this will cost me first. Next day morning, I went to this auto shop again, and they said it will take three day and $2800 to fix my car because they have to order the part from somewhere else, the price they told me is that the parts will cost me $1400 and rest of it is labor and storage fee. I looked at their computer screen for the parts they need and I saw the price is $800, and the front desk start yelling "You should not look at the screen! mind your own business." And finally I gave up on this place, told them I will pay my towing fee and go to anther place. The final price is $680, including the price for checking whats wrong with the car, towing price is $480 rather than the $300-$400 I was told on the phone. At that time I was too tried to argue with them. Then they told me I have to pay in cash because their machine is broken, so I went to a bank can got the cash. When I got back from the bank I saw someone using card to pay them, but when I go in they said their machine is down. And again, I was too tried to argue with them. For people do not know, pay with cash can let shop skip the tax for that deal. Shame on you. Then I went to another auto service shop, cost my $700 and one night for them to fix my car. STAY AWAY!!!! Any positive reviews are fake. Was referred to this shop by another shop that had all positive reviews. Had brake problems that needed only minor work. I tried to inform them that I knew what I was talking about, but they insisted in trying to rip me off by saying I needed $1200 repair. I knew better and asked them to do just what I had asked for. They then charged me over $180 for topping of my brake fluid. They held my motorhome hostage until I paid them. Recently had an accident and Flat Creek Towing handled moving the vehicle to the impound lot. We received a quote before any action was taken. The workmen were unskilled and careless, as if they were indifferent to the possibility of salvaging the truck. They misinformed the owner of the events, stating the vehicle was in a ditch and difficult to remove when in fact, with an officer as a witness, the truck was on the shoulder of the road. Afterwards, the company tried to raise the price, disregarding the quote. The events took place at 1:30 a.m., and they demanded we pay them immediately. When we tried to pay them, they attempted to demand cash, although we later settled on a debit card. When we tried to remove the truck from the lot, workers watched, which we believed to be an attempt to tow the truck should we leave it nearby, the vehicle was unsafe to drive, but due to the predicament, we did not dare leave the truck nearby. I would not recommend this company nor would I trust their service again. read more
