They told me my rotors were worn out and needed replacing -- even though my husband had just installed brand-new rotors two months ago. When I called my husband (who is a mechanic) and told him what they said, he immediately knew something was off. When confronted, the guy backpedaled and said his job was "just to give an estimate." That's not the point -- I trusted them to give me an honest assessment of my car, and they flat-out lied about work that didn't need to be done. Do not trust these people. They will make things up, replace parts and filters that don't need replacing, and take advantage of customers who don't know better. Thankfully, I had someone who could verify their dishonesty, but not everyone will. Stay far away.

Day 6 I check in after not hearing from them, get end of day call back that car had much more damage than anticipated and more parts had to be ordered. Again no communication about this until I called them. After a few weeks and more lack of communication I went by the shop only to have been gaslit by Tamara the woman handling my vehicle she then threatened to call the police on me for pushing back on her absurd timelines and delays. At that stage the owner Bobby stepped in to help facilitate a smoother process. Parts were ordered and job continued and took roughly 3 weeks. I had to press them every step of way to pick up after 3 weeks. Upon driving I noticed car had a pull to the right so I checked in to ensure an alignment was done. Sure enough no alignment, so they schedule and alignment along with some other clear protectant stickers that were left off the work that was completed. During the alignment they noticed several other parts that needed to be replaced suspension related. Keep in mind I was driving over the pass twice daily in a car not fit for driving. Upon replacing those parts I had come to town from Victor to pick up my car (Friday at 5pm) but lo and behold a few other parts were discovered to be faulty and needed replacement. Forcing me to get a last minute rental car memorial weekend. In total 30 days to complete the work. All this time paying for rental cars as max is $40 a day reimbursed but that's impossible to find in Jackson so I was covering anywhere from $30-60 a day. Overall I'm out over $500 on rental cars and they had me driving around in a dangerous car for a week with no remorse, no consideration for the delays and continued run around. AVOID AT ALL COSTS WHICH I KNOW IS HARD SINCE NOT MANY OPTIONS

Before I realized what the issue was I asked if I could pull into an empty field right next to where I was parked. He yelled at me that it was not his property and I must be hard of hearing. It looked like an empty field of weeds to me, but Jackson! A FedEx truck needed to turn around in the cramped lot. The truck had room if it were to make a 3 or 5 point turn, but by now I realized what was going on and that I would turn around and leave. Dave, clearly pissed off, continued staring at me and telling me I was not able to F'in listen when all I was doing was waiting for him to take a step back so I did not hit him turning around. I guess he expected me to back all the way out his long drive and then reverse into oncoming traffic on the highway because he was preventing me from actually moving any other way where he was standing and fuming. I asked if he would move and I would turn around (he was right next to my driver's side door) he returned to yelling at me and then refused me service to what I felt was a full meltdown. I apologized repeatedly, but he continued yelling at me to park the vehicle. He had a mechanic do the quick service (about 5 minutes total) at full price and then said nothing to me as I paid the bill. Our last stop was Mark's Foreign Auto. Although he was about to leave on vacation, he took the time to take a look and diagnose our problem-- a slipping transmission. Unfortunately, not a quick, easy or cheap problem to fix. He advised us that we would likely make it to our destination just fine even with the faulty transmission. So, he didn't actually do any work on our car, so I can't vouch for his abilities as a mechanic. What I can vouch for is that he is a great person who will go out of his way to help if he can and he didn't charge us anything even though he spent 30 mins looking at our car. We were scheduled to leave on Monday with RV reservations at West Yellowstone for that night. I arrived shortly after they opened and spoke to Race and told him of our situation, trying to leave that day to keep on track of our RV scheduled. He said he would do the best he could but was not sure he could complete the work on Monday. He scanned our Honda CRV computer and found the fault codes and identified the issues. Race drove me back to the RV campground and said he would try to get the parts and repairs completed that day. I called at 1:30 and he said they were working on the car. I called back at 3:30 to see if we should drive our RV to their shop so we would be ready to leave when the car was repaired. We got to the shop at 4:30 and the car was tested and ready for pick up. We were able to hitch up the car to our RV and be on the road at 5:00 on to West Yellowstone. I can't thank Race and Page and the mechanics for the work they did replacing the Coolant Temperature Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor. Great job!!!
