My tire sensor light was on during a trip awqay from home. Without an appointment, they checked all tires and figured that it was a sensor issue. Dishonest and Untrustworthy I went to this shop expecting an honest evaluation, but instead they tried to rip me off. They told me my rotors were worn out and needed replacing -- even though my husband had just installed brand-new rotors two months ago. When I called my husband (who is a mechanic) and told him what they said, he immediately knew something was off. When confronted, the guy backpedaled and said his job was "just to give an estimate." That's not the point -- I trusted them to give me an honest assessment of my car, and they flat-out lied about work that didn't need to be done. Do not trust these people. They will make things up, replace parts and filters that don't need replacing, and take advantage of customers who don't know better. Thankfully, I had someone who could verify their dishonesty, but not everyone will. Stay far away. read more

AVOID!!!! I had a tire that was slowly losing air so I took it into the shop, thinking it was reputable and asked for an estimate as to why it was leaking, and how much the cost would be... After several days of not receiving a call, I called to check on the status and they told me it was fixed and the cost was $37 for valve stem only... Had I known this I would never have had it repaired... When I came in to pick it up and paid , I asked for it to be inflated to the maximum allowed on the sidewall, 44 pounds they had told me they had inflated it to 80 pounds... It had been that way for several days. They deflated it to 44 and then sent me on my way within a week the tire separated, due to the over inflation at double the pressure causing the tire to separate and make driving dangerous... I had to put the spare on and now I have to buy a whole new set of tires as well as paying for the one that was destroyed and the $37 valve fee... Definitely do not recommend you use these people. They are too busy to do the work properly and follow through with estimates. read more

AAA recommended Levi's to have my tire repaired. I called to see if they were busy. They said about 45 minutes We got there in 15 minutes and they put my car in the bay and repaired the tire. I asked if they plugged or patched and the Hispanic guy said patched. Just what I had hoped for. We walked down the street to Whole Foods and Maverick's while they repaired my tire that had a screw in it. $45 seemed steep but what do you expect in Jackson, WY. I tipped the guy $5. I am almost a local, more than 30 years here, so I have had the chance to try several mechanics. I am also old and clueless about vehicles. I am so incredibly relieved I found Levi and Jimmy. It would be so easy for me to not know what is actually needed when I have a problem with my truck (I keep my vehicles as long as I possibly can) I completely trust Levi and Jimmy with an honest assessment of the issue and a safe and economic remedy. I have never had a problem, ever, with timeliness, incorrect diagnosis, over charging, or failure of a repair. If I feel something might not have worked I know I can go right back in and they will check it out immediately and put my mind at rest. Levi, Jimmy and the whole crew are always competent and caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Lastly, I have a furry best friend who goes everywhere with me. Sometimes my windows are a mosaic of dog nose prints! Called and spoke to a Spanish man about changing the differential fluid in my truck. A simple, 10-minute job for any mechanic. He gave me the run around saying it was a hard job that required parts, time and know how. That's BS that's just not true. If I hadn't done the exact same job myself, I might have believed him. I was traveling through from Spokane, WA after graduating from college. The starter on my car went bad at our campsite. After calling AAA and every repair shop near us, Levi's told us they would do everything to try to squeeze us in. They fixed the problem within a couple of hours. Like everyone said in the review they really take advantage of the situation and charge you more for something that is super cheap. Our tire pressure was low while on vacation so we went to get it checked just in case there's nail in our tire. Sure enough there was. For just putting air pressure and fixing tire they charge us over $30! When we did ours in Cali...it only cost us $10 for that service. Some places even offer to do it for free. read more

On a cross country road trip in my daughters VW Beetle and had a wheel start to vibrate badly (wheel bearing went bad) while visiting Yellowstone. Jimmie and his team got us in first thing in the morning and did a great job figuring out the problem. He sent us to their other location where Brian and his team found the scarce part in Idaho, managed to get it to their shop in Jackson and got us back on the road. These guys were life savers. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO LEVI'S. I received a routine oil change from Levi's. Drove a few miles the following day and the check engine light came on. The light was related to oil pressure. I cleared the code initially thinking maybe it would right itself since I just had the oil changed, but the light came back on the next day. I brought the vehicle back to Levi's and talked to Levi himself. I was hoping they could take a look and see what the issue was as it seemed correlated with the oil change. Levi was super unprofessional right off the bat. He was clearly mad we brought the vehicle back, he told me he wasn't going to help me for free (I wasn't looking for a hand out). He barely checked the oil. My husband and I tried to talk to him about the oil level as we had had issues with over filling before. He refused to acknowledge what we were saying and was argumentative. He finally brought a technician over to check the code, the technician offered some sound advice that seemed reasonable and we were going to let him clear the code and be on our way. However, Levi refuted his own technician, told us we had a bad sensor and that by even being there we were accusing him of providing "bad" service. We did no such thing, we were super nice and polite despite his pervasive rude behavior. We simply took our vehicle back to the shop where the oil changed was performed to see if they could offer some help because the code from the check engine light seemed related to the oil change. Clearly they must provide sketchy service if his initial reaction was so unprofessional. He said he "gets this all the time"...I now understand why. If someone really stands behind their work they would be willing to talk to people if issues arise, not just act like a jerk. Clearly not the case here. The technician even apologized to us for Levi's behavior! Ultimately, Levi escalated the situation into a shouting match and told us to get out of his shop (at this point I was at the end of my rope and had a few choice words for him). How appalling. DO NOT GO THERE!! We immediately took the vehicle to Big O Tire who were incredibly friendly, looked at the vehicle right away despite being super busy. read more

Our Volvo wagon died unexpectedly on vacation and we left it dead in the parking lot next door on a Sunday, got a rental car, then showed up on their doorstep Monday morning right after they opened. They were so warm and helpful! They got us in right away, tested the old battery, installed a new battery quickly and got us back on the road! Levi listened to us and Zack was very service-oriented. Not knowing anything about local car shops, and with a sign that just said "Tire and Auto" and a non-descript building, we weren't sure what quality to expect. We realized we must have a slow leak, and we wanted to get it fixed. We went to Big O Tires because an employee at a gas station told us to go there. We were going to have to wait for 2-3 hours to have it looked at there. I asked them if they could recommend another place to go, and they said to come here to Levi's. I called ahead and they said we could be in and out in 20 minutes. We immediately went there. They found a screw in the tire and patched it right up for us. I am in the middle of a solo cross-country road trip. My tire light came on while in Jackson, and I took my car to Big O tires. They told me I needed to replace all four tires, that one of my tires could blow out at any second, and that the replacements were urgent. As a single lady on the road, I freaked out - particularly when they told me they didn't have the right size to complete the replacement. Luckily, they called Levi and Levi's tires and sent me over to his shop. I am SO GLAD they did. Levi was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He could see that I was panicking, and he took the time to explain what was happening with my tires. He was a straight shooter and clearly cared most about doing right by me, rather than making a sale. Instead of selling me four tires, he recommended replacing one and moving them all around. His goal was simply to get me home safely. The tire gods were in my favor when Big O couldn't help me and sent me to Levi. I feel genuinely taken care of.
