I booked a shellac manicure here. My appointment was at 2:30. I was finished and paid by 2:50. This was without doubt one of the poorest experiences I have ever had. I didn't get the name of the the manicurist, she never told me her name. She was nice enough and my nails look pretty good but the whole experience was not enjoyable. The work station was not clean, it was gritty and hadn't been wiped between clients. They appear to use sterilized metal tools that are wrapped in a plastic autoclave package but then they use a grubby old nail file that's been used on dozens of clients. She used a little soft nail brush, used on many other clients, to wipe my nails after she clipped the cuticles and she was pretty rough doing that. Then she used a brush to apply oil on the cuticles, again used by many clients. And that was it. There was no hot towel, no cream applied with a nice hand massage. Nothing. I asked her if she was going to do a hand massage and she put some hand lotion on my hands and gave me the most tepid massage with no pressure that lasted about 10 seconds per hand. It was ridiculous. Other places I have had manicures have ALWAYS included a nice hand/arm massage, a hot towel, etc. This place is nothing but a conveyor belt, run them through as fast as possible kind of place. They didn't ask me how long I wanted them, messed up my design, the nails they put on me are too wide and are still hurting after 6 hours and i will probably have to remove a couple from the pain. They got glue on my fingerprint (how do they do that?!) and didn't even remove it even when i brought it up, had a fee for practically everything wouldn't recommend this place to a friend. read more

Have not been able to find a nail salon that does as thorough job on my nails as this salon, this is honestly the first place I've ever been satisfied with. They take all the extra stops to ensure the health of your nail bed and your nails always look natural. There is no request that these ladies will refuse and I have asked him for some crazy stuff but they aim to please. Everything about this nail salon is beyond reasonable including the price, and the staff pamper you! Definitely a cut above service! read more

Called here to see if they had any openings. They said they had one at 11, I arrived at 10:45. I got there and as soon as I arrived I was rushed through. Only seven minutes was spent on the maintenance of me feet, leaving lots of dead skin on my feet. Nails were also rushed through leaving the polish translucent. Very disappointed, I could have done a better job at home. By the time I sat down in the chair I was out of the salon in 25 minutes. June 26, 2020: Very friendly service. Professional and all the staff have been trained in COVID-19 Barbicide certification which signifies a safe and clean environment. Everyone wears masks and gloves and they clean between each client. With the manicures they have a plastic screen in place as an extra precaution for safety due to COVID-19. The place was clean and staff friendly . I had a nail fill which was good , my pedicure she cut one of my toes and my feet are rough on the edges . Worse of all she put the wax on my eyebrows it was too hot so now I have two burnt eyelids . i did call and express my concerns but the girl that did my services . Very upset . I've been a client of Tessa Nail & Spa for 2 years now. I have always felt welcome at all appointments and walk ins. Mary is a skilled nail tech with great attention to detail. Judy, owner, is always cheerful and welcoming. They recently had a renovation and abide by all (and more!) cleaning policies and procedures after COVID-19. All staff wear masks and have additional training certificates post-Covid. I feel very safe and clean returning to and visiting Tessa Nail! What a bunch of scammers!!! I bought a gift certificate for Christmas so, my daughter could get a set of uv gel nails done. I explained exactly what I wanted & they said it would be $55 + tax. I paid for the service, tax & a good tip. I asked a second time, just before I left that there would not be any extra costs. They assured me that was it. Then when she went in yesterday to get her nails done, they told her she had to pay another $10.50. So, she paid & when I asked why,they started giving me some bullshit reason. I know it was a lie bc, I was a nail tech and I know how it's done. When I said I wanted my $10.50 back, they started arguing with me. I was trying to resolve this quietly but, ended up having to cause a scene. I DO NOT recommend this chop shop!! read more

These ladies do a great job of your nails. Many of my friends go here and convinced me to drive out of my way to give them a try. Tessa has done a lovely job of my nails and I have now gone three times. No issues with lifting and she makes sure that your cuticles are cleaned up instead of just using the Dremmel. read more

I came to Tessa Nails to get my gelac manicure done last couple weeks ago. That was my first time,because my girl who used to do my nails for a years ,she was on vacation. When I came in,I saw dust everywhere, wasn't clean at all.The girl who did my nails,she was very fast but not effective. She also cut my nails while she was cutting my cuticle. I picked my gelac color that I liked,but she told me you should pick another one that would work better. When she finished my manicure,the color was very ugly. Has to agree, with other costumers when they say, some of the staff in this particular nail and spa saloon do have a bad attitude. They need to understand that if a costumer goes in for services, we expect a good efficient delivery for what we are paying for. a good advise is ok, coming from profesional staff, but when negative and derogative comments about the shape of your feet or nasty remarks about the hard work they has to put in, in doing your pedicure, because you didn't take care of your feet is abusive on their part coming from young girls who are left to work with out supervision....their job is to deliver the beauty care the costumer goes in to pay for, why should the costumer listen to derogative opinions about our bodies regarding services we are paying for. the girl who did my pedicure spent more time criticizing than performing or doing her job. for me was a sad experience. hopefully they will learn to become more profesional in what they are trying to sale. This place is great! Nice, clean and hygienic salon. Very respectful and friendly staff. Best pedicure I've ever had....my feet are still very soft a week later. Love the quality of my acrylic gel nails and the lady who did them was very gentle. They are relatively new at this location and this was our first visit but I will definitely be back! read more
