I walked in at 230pm on a Sat for a walk in with no appt and was able to get in within 20 min. Staff were all nice, eqpt was Clean and good selection of polish. Stacey was my nail tek and was very friendly and nice. She did an amazing job and took great care in giving me the best mani I've had in a really long time. Anyways before I could think I had shellac on hands and feet and surprise-$93! New owner and first day apparently so she was up and running around at least 20 times! Barely did my cuticles which was why I went there in the first place. Went back the next day to question the amount because it seemed high with even 15% off and was told about the prices and the shellac. I honestly feel that she played me and pretended not to understand but her grown daughter spoke perfect English so she didn't just arrive a few years ago! I tried to explain that shellac does not work well with my job, and sure enough, 2 weeks later it started to peel. Just my experience and will never return.

The service is always above the expectations, when I needed to get my nails done urgently before a wedding on the evening I had to work late, I phoned three other places, two of which were closed and one was booked. When I called Nancy, she got me in 30 min before closing and when I asked her that I wanted gel nails with a design and pedicure she stayed past closing time to make sure I was ready for the wedding and in her words, she made my nails "lovely!". The salon itself really does not look much different to other salons. Typical scent of nail polish, massage chairs for pedis, etc.. The parking lot here is a bit odd as the salon is on a strip mall right next to the gas station. Be careful when you are pulling in or out of the parking lot as both roads (mcknight and center street) are usually pretty busy. I only had a pedicure and my eyebrows threaded here, but was really happy with their job. I am picky about the details and I hate it when people think they can just get away with a sloppy job just because it's on my toenails :S They have a separate room for where they did my eyebrow threading, and I assume they would do waxing and etc. here. I noticed that they also do facials and lashes here but I didn't get it done so I can't comment on those services. The ladies here are very friendly - they really know their clients and even remembered my sister who had last visited almost two full years ago. Prices here are pretty average - it's definitely not the cheapest you can find in the city, but after some terrible horrific pedis and manis at the cheapest I could find, I am okay with paying an extra 5-10$ for toes and nails that I am 100% happy with. I hate being the picky customer and asking people to fix things, so I love that I don't have to ask them to redo anything here because they do suck a good job! I recommend calling ahead of time to make sure they can take you - they are pretty busy most of the time. You can make an appointment or you can call before you head in to make sure there is someone available to help you.

Services can be booked easily over the phone or from their website and they send a reminder text confirming your appointment which is super helpful!! My favourite type of nail service is with the Solar Powder line (see red / green nails in photos attached) which appear like literal glass on your hands, are super durable and are able to be formed to your nail bed into any desired shape. I used a nail extension as a tip then the solar powder on top and the gel colour for the top coat which has helped my otherwise weak nails to grow out while providing reliable beautiful strong nails that I can rely on working with various equipment/machinery/tools and cleaning supplies at my job. They are almost always right on schedule and cause clients to wait long, oftentimes even starting earlier than scheduled if their staff are free and have been willing to book on the same day which was very appreciated when I broke a nail while at work. Their bathroom, furniture, and all equipment/tools are kept super clean and the salon as a whole is tidy and well taken care of. Most times the space is accompanied by diverse music and lively conversations, though you're welcome to listen to your own music/audiobooks/other with your headphones. I personally prefer keeping my sunglasses on during my appointments as the lights and light coloured walls/tables are bright for me which has never been an issue to accommodate.
