I've been coming to this place for many years now. I first found it when I had to get a my nails redone because another salon pretty much butchered my nails. Kevin is my go to person as he's attentive to details and he's careful. I highly recommend this place! Reasonably priced and they do a good job! read more

Victoria Nails & Spa - CND "Winter Glow" Shellac nails by Cindy - Nail Salons Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Victoria Nails took me in without an appointment (although I would recommend making one because they look packed!), and gave an excellent manicure. My biggest pet peeve is leaving the salon and there being spaces between your nail and cuticle when it's fresh. There are no spaces on mine (see red polish pics). They also give awesome hand massages at the end! On top of it all Kensington is my favourite part of the city and there are tons of cute pubs and coffee shops around to make a perfect girls day out of it. I will definitely keep going! read more

This is my go to nail salon. Cindy does the very best shellac manicures, every time. I return every two weeks. Their pedicures are also great. There is no shortage of color choices, and the ladies are very helpful if you can't decide. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. read more

The best! I'm a regular customer. They always do my mani & pedi exactly how I want it. read more

Victoria Nails & Spa - This is regular white polish. - Nail Salons Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

I won't go back to Victoria since I got an infection under my thumb gel nail. When I went back to this salon, the owner seemed preturbed and gave me 'medicine' to put on it. She drew on a flower over the gel nail, trying to hide the green fungus under my nail. She made me feel like it was my fault. When I was getting the last set of gel nails done, the technician was doing someone else at the same time. I was horrified and should have said something. Definitely goes against all hygiene rules. Will never... EVER go back here. read more

Let me first say that the ladies at this spa do a mean pedicure (if your willing to pay 70.00), however, I had the most horrific waxing experience there ever. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I'm used to a little tenderness here and there after a thorough waxing, but I was missing so much skin that I was bleeding when I got home! I DO NOT recommend any women go to this salon for a Brazilian EVER. The amount of bruising and missing skin was outrageous and the worst part was that she missed half the hair! Ladies be warned. Take your waxing needs somewhere else, or risk meeting the same fate as I did. read more

I have been getting my nails done by Cindy and Diana for two years (Shellac mani every two weeks & pedi every 4 weeks). I also get Diana to do my brows (wax & tint) every few weeks. My cuticles are always perfectly trimmed & they use this great machine on the feet that makes them so soft. I did find that because I get my nails done so frequently, my cuticles get a bit too much attention - I had to ask Cindy to be a little easier on them, but she listened to me & always remembers this request when I come in. I'm a perfectionist and I have literally NEVER been disappointed. These women are amazing. Honestly - I don't understand how the review below is even possible. I used to pay top salon prices to get my nails done & now I get better quality for half the price. Definitely my favourite! read more

Let me tell you about my experience at Victoria's ... So they were full when I got there so while I was grabbing nail polish for my sister who was getting her nails done for her wedding since she couldn't decide, they started talking about me in Vietnamese thinking that I couldn't understand. If you're going to talk about your customers while they're in front of you in a different language, then at least make sure they can't understand. Calling your customer names and cursing them will make sure that I don't come back and that I won't be recommending anyone to come here. Do NOT come here if you want to be treated with respect. There are lots of other nail salons in Calgary that give way better service! read more

This place is a gem! This is my go-to pedicure spot. They pay close attention to detail and I always leave with very pretty feet. I haven't gotten a shellac manicure in a while but they always did a good job on that as well. I've been going there for 1 1/2 years now (most recently last Tuesday) and do not have any complaints. read more

My go to place to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed as well as shellac mani and pedi! These girls are good at what they do and are friendly and fairly quick and efficient. I pay about 23 for eyebrow and lip waxing. 60-70 for shellac mani and pedi. read more

This place is great! The price is fair and their service is very good. It is not a fancy salon but they do a good job!

I took my girlfriend and I for manis and pedis for her birthday at Victoria nails and spa and the service was pretty good. There was very little wait time, they did a nice job, we were happy with our colors and it took a really long time for my nails to chip! The only reason I docked stars is because the guy that used the dremel on my feet was incredibly rough.. he ran it across the tips of my little toes (which I found odd, and I have never had done before) and he went too low.. and now I have a sore on my toe .. I dont think this would discourage me from going again, but next time I would have a discussion before they used the dremel! read more

Filthy, unprofessional, and rude. It was disgusting in there, the staff was constantly talking over the clients, checking their phones, and lounging in the pedicure chairs while they left their clients to sit and wait until the staff felt ready to continue. Not worth $53 for a pedicure. Please don't go here. You will be disappointed. read more

I love this place, I usually always manage to get in as a walk-in. They pay outstanding attention to detail. The atmosphere is very chill and I like the way that they read if you're a chatty person or not, nothing better than getting a pedicure and just zoning out for a good long time. Highly recommend this places for pedi's read more

The most amazing shellac manicure I have ever gotten. Cuticles were trimmed with precision and care... no unfortunate aftermath (i.e. peeling, infection, pain) and polish was applied immaculately. I frequented another salon in Calgary bi-weekly for a regular shellac manicure that usually chipped 1.5 weeks in, but this manicure has lasted me through moving houses: lifting/heaving boxes, setting up bed frames and dressers, etc. and not even the tiniest chip or scratch can be found. I want to say I paid around ~$46 after tip which I can totally justify... seeing how I was paying ~$20 for a shellac polish change twice a month previously. A friend who recommended this salon has shellac manicures that last up to a month and so far, it's looking like mine will be lasting that long too! read more

Dianna gives the best spa pedicure in the city! I have tried many places but she is hands down my favorite. Prices are reasonable and my feet are in fantastic shape every time I leave there! A truly relaxing treat for your feet! read more

I would go back. A Basic mani was $20 and well done. Efficient & friendly. This is a no frills kind of place, bit cluttered but pretty decent. read more

If I could give my experience a 0/5 I would. Posted some photos to show you the terrible quality of my manicure. I went in for a UV gel fill. It had been a while since I had gotten them done and so I had painted over them with regular nail polish. When she was sanding them she saw the two colours layers and started yelling at her co workers to come and look at my nails and about 4 employees came over to look and gossiped in Vietnamese and I was so embarrassed and stopped her and put my hands under the table. Then she told me my natural nails were 'strong enough ' and she said I didn't need a fill and I should just do shellac. I agreed under the impression it would be cheaper in price and rolled with it. Worst decision. She put one layer of base coat and my nails are so thin and bendy. I ended up getting charged $50! For the worst quality shellac I've ever seen! Didn't even last 3 days (refer to photos I posted). I even had to go home and fix the angles of the tips because she made them extremely uneven. I told her a couple of my nails were too long and she said they weren't and refused to file them down. It took about an hour and 20 minutes, while my friend got a UV gel fill in under an hour from their male technician (they were flawless btw) and she got charged less!! read more

NOT happy with this place. Me and my friend went to get fake nails and pedicures before our trip to Mexico. I made an appointment for acrylic on the phone and when I showed up they said they only do gel. I asked for the coffin style nail which they have on a fake hand with the exact shape I wanted and the guy doing my nails did they WAY too pointy (not anything like it showed) and not to mention I kept saying shorter, shorter and he seemed to be getting mad about that and ended up doing them way longer then I wanted. The nails were so thin three of them ended up breaking the next day. I've had this happen so many times that they do what they want and not what you are asking for, for this price that is ridiculous. The pedicure wasn't too bad other than the fact that the girl cut them so short I now have little stubs on my toes. I will NEVER go back here and if I wasn't in Mexico the next day would have gone back and made them redo them. read more
