I normally only write reviews when I LOVE something or when I'm ticked off. I believe this to be true of most people. Anyways... I have been coming to this spa since we moved to Airdrie in 2016. My main service is the pedicure which I do 6 months out of the year (great thing about living in Winter Wonderland is that no one sees my toes for the other 6 months and this saves me money lol, sorry, I digress). I also started shellac manicures last year and have been generally satisfied. I normally request Helen or Jesse. I would rate their skills as good - not stellar, or mind-blowing but good, solid and fairly consistent. Their prices are one of the main reasons I have consistently gone back - other than the fact that I am a creature of habit. Their prices are very competitive and I do appreciate this. As far as friendliness goes, no one has been rude but no one is outstandingly warm or inviting either. I have brought my family/friends here for services over the last couple of years, but I will not be going back. The reason? Last week I treated my baby brother to his first pedicure. He is a fitness buff who can run like no one's business and so his feet take a beating. The total service time was 15 minutes. That's right, a pedicure in 15 minutes. It was the shortest spa pedicure I've witnessed in 20 years. There were no others waiting, so there was no need to rush, and I had called in the appointment, so I was not a walk-in. Now I understand that my brother is not getting his toe nails painted, but then for heaven's sake, give him more massage time, or take extra care with his callouses, etc. The thing that really irked me is that the pedicure was done by the owner of the nail spa - someone who should go the extra mile for her clients - someone who knows I come in regularly - someone who knew this was my brother's first experience - but someone who rushed through the service and didn't care. If it was any other technician, I probably wouldn't be writing this review right now, but the owner of any business who is stingy/frugal will NOT be getting my business again. I manage a family-owned business and I work hard for my clients. I expect a similar level of service when I am the client. I believe in supporting businesses who have the same philosophy as I do: Be Grateful For Your Clients. Be Generous To Your Clients. Treat Your Clients Like The Gold They Are. I want to give this place only 2 stars, but their prices, along with Helen and Jesse's service bump them up to 3 stars, but not one inch higher. read more

I make the extra effort to drive to Airdrie to get my nails done here because it's totally worth it! Most of the time I make an appointment, but whenever I do a walk-in, I'm not waiting for more than 15 mins to get in. Most places I've been to, I usually stick to one nail tech and if/when they leave I have the challenge to find a new salon because I like my nails done a certain way. At Top Nails, all the techs are consistent and do an awesome job - which is why I like coming here! Staff are friendly and loves chatting (which I like, who wants to sit there for 30+ mins in complete silence?) and it's CLEAN (a must for me for nail salons!) Never had a problem with my nails whenever I them done - I totally recommend this place read more

I have been to at least 5 different nail salons and tried gel nails, shellac around Calgary. I have always done acrylic solar nails in California for the last decade. I finally found this place and Quincy is my gal. She is the BEST! And worth the 30 minute drive. I am very picky and look for precision, painless, no streaks, long lasting no lifting, thin natural looking nails. She does great designs and got me changing my look from pink and white to some sparkle powders. They last me anywhere from 4 to 5 weeks without lifting! read more

worst pedicure i have had in awhile !! didnt get any sort of foot massage, hot towel had to ask the girl to smooth my feet 3 more times after she was " finished" and feet are still rough!! went in a group with 3 other girls and all of them had the same thing happen would not return!! read more

I had a fantastic experience today in getting my very first set of UV gel nails. I was a walk in and only waited 10 minutes maximum. Helen was my technician and she was lovely. She answered all my questions and explained everything she was doing as she went along. As a newbie to the nail salon scene I was impressed. She even took the time to explain the different nails that the customers next to me were getting as she saw me curiously looking over at them. One was acrylic and the other was a gel fill. Again, this was all new to me. The salon itself was clean and tidy as were the instruments she used. I will definitely be returning here to maintain my new nails! read more

Don't ever buy a gift certificate from this nail salon because they will tell you that you can't use it. The "owner" said she just bought the business and the certificate was bought before she owned the business. I'm thinking "Not my problem" and I will do everything in my power to make sure she gets the advertising she deserves.One of my kids paid good money to get that gift card and she has rendered it useless Now on to facebook!! read more

Don't waste your time or money at all this place. I got my nails done here, and within the day almost all had lifted. All my nails had a big wave in them, from on corner(1mm) to the other(5mm). Horrible horrible work read more

I would never go here again. I thought I would give this place a chance because of the other great reviews. I went to get old shellac removed and new put on. The RIPPED the old shellac off which is a huge no no. I confirmed with my friend who's an esthetician to never rip shellac off. It must be sanded down then soaked in a strong remover. My nails are now super weak with even the new shellac on. The color looks blotchy and the surface is uneven because of my poor torn nails under it. Save yourself your, time, money and nails! DO NOT GO HERE! read more
