So glad I found this little gem! My hands are closing and nails are impossible to trim myself. Ben is an answer to prayer . He is efficient, respectful and calm and meticulous. I've also had a pedicure or two. Always a lovely treat here and reasonably priced. read more

Visiting relatives in Calgary and went online to book an appt at a shop in the SW. As there were two of us seeking services I followed up with a phone call and we were both in at the same time the next day. We both had basic manicures and pedicures and were very impressed with the service and staff. Usually my manicures don't last because my hands are very busy and in and out of water constantly but today is day 3 and they are still fantastic! The shop was very busy so I would recommend one make an appointment to not be disappointed. read more

I'm sorry to say that this isn't my favourite of nail salons in the city. I used to go a lot when I was in high school, since it was so close, but recently went back to see if it was the same. It seems that in the gap in between high school and now has changed the employees and atmosphere. The people in the place aren't as nice and talkative as they used to be and actually seem to be a little rude while working on your nails. The interior of the place hasn't changed much and is still pretty standard of a nail salon. It's got the chairs with foot stools and the seats with tables. As well, the prices haven't changed that much and are actually pretty good. A full acrylic set (white tip extra though) for only $30. This is one of the reasons I went so much in high school. The prices are something a student can afford. I was sad that I didn't have the same experiences at this place, but not too heartbroken. There are still better nail salons elsewhere in the city. read more

Diamond Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

It's a hit or a miss with this place it's either you get someone good to do your nails that won't shave off your first layer of skin and nail or you don't and get someone that does. I mean I went to this place every 2 weeks for a year in 2017 and I still got treated like garbage stopped tipping after awhile because the customer service sucked and I kept getting the people that well shaved off some skin or almost took off my nail but yeah great place kind of... read more

Absolutely AMAZING ! My family and I have been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. They will give you exactly what you want and it's so worth the price. So happy every time!!!! Thank you Diamond Nails! read more

my friend invite me to this place and love to come because always you feel welcome there with smile and respect

What a deal! Following my previous review and experience at Canadian Hippy Nails, Diamond Nails was where we went next to get a cheap mani/pedi. DN charges $40 dollars for a mani/pedi, They UV their tool sets and I saw them scrubbing those foot baths like nobodies business after each use. I was asked to go wash my hands in between the grooming and polish phases for my manicure, so my end results looked immaculate. DN does get points because I always enjoy nail salons with posters right out of the 80s with garish Asian women with blood red nails as long as Lo Pan's in Big Trouble in Little China. It looks a little older in here, smells of bleach, but I know they are clean and I was attended to very well. Head's up that if you do go on a Sunday, DN is cash only for some unexplained reason. We had to shuffle across the parking lot in our paper slippers to go get some paper money from the 7-Eleven. This place is A-OK by me. read more

My nails look good but around them is awful. I have flaking skin and two bloody cuts. The service was okay, she kept telling me to put my hands further into the light but they couldn't go further so I burned my hand twice. The part around my nails hurts right now. Not impressed. I have been cut at salons before but never had flaking skin like this (I uploaded some pictures of the "damage", check them out to see I'm not exaggerating!) read more

Love this place. Clean, friendly staff, and great nails. The only con is they can rush at times but I'm always happy with my nails. read more

I wasn't sure if I should go here after reading some reviews, but as you can see they did a great job with my fake nails. However, definitely don't come here if you want to feel pampered. They give of a vibe of being rushed and I had to wait quite a while. The lady who was doing my nails kept hurting my cuticles and bending my fingers too much. I would say overall good prices and good nails, but they really need to work on being more gentle. read more

Love Diamond nails! Always fit me in. Friendly place. Nails last longer than anywhere else I have gone. They moved in the same complex to a bigger space so much better. read more

My friend and I went in as walk-ins. The salon is so clean. There isn't much for art on the walls, but the light fixtures are modern and overall everything looks sharp. The chairs are very comfortable and the staff are pleasant. I got a gel mani-pedi, and my nails are so wonderful. It was really well done. Definitely a great place to go. My only problems were that the staff are very quiet when they spoke and I was cut during the pedicure. It wasn't too big of a deal. It was unpleasant, but accidents happen. Anyway, it's a great place to go and reasonably priced. read more

They were very efficient and friendly! They fit me in on short notice. I had a manicure with regular nail polish on Sat. and the polish is still on and has not chipped! The manicure was good. read more

Diamond nails is probably one of the most reasonably priced salons in Calgary. The estheticians are all friendly and try to make conversation. After getting my acrylic nails done there for about six months I knew exactly what to ask for. I find with any esthetician you need to tell them what you want, whether it be thickness or length you need to be vocal. This is the same at Diamond Nails. They will fix your nails however you want to as long as you're vocal. The place can get busy, but they do their best to accommodate. Overall, this salon keeps their prices low and the staff is pleasant. They're a great place to go when you're a little short on cash, but want to keep your nails in good shape. I should note that they do not take credit cards on Sundays which can be a little bit of a hassle. read more

I have been going to Diamond Nails for over 6 years, and find the service to usually be friendly, they deliver exactly what I want every time, do a great pedicure, and are quite clean. The only issue I have ever encountered is trying to understand some of the staff as their accents can be quite thick. I find their prices to be great, and I will typically get a fill, shellac, pedicure and waxing done. Their game could improve a bit in the waxing department (they usually rush as there is always clients waiting to get in) and I have had to take the tweezers to it when I get home. But I really like what I get whenever I go there and if I don't, they will always fix it until I am happy. read more

I have been here a couple times for pedicures. The staff is always welcoming, can usually fit me in same day with an appointment or as a walk-in without an appointment and the place is always clean and sanitary! The pedicure service is very nice- gentle hands, hot stones, massage and tons of colours (both polish and shellac) to choose from. read more

Amazing nail salon! Very clean and sanitary as well. I have never had someone spend so much time on my manicure and pedicure, they ensure that everything is perfect. They have very reasonable prices for all services. I would recommend Diamond to anyone. Will for sure be returning! read more

The only place I go for pedicures. Their prices are competitive, and my nails stay in great shape for weeks afterward. Plenty of colours to choose from, and the staff are incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. They are very respectful, and their supplies are always kept incredibly clean. If you pay attention to their workplace behaviour, you can tell just how much their salon values its sanitary habits. read more

One of the worst nail experiences! If you want cheap and fast as well as uncaring- then this is the place- I went in looking to have a mani-pedi and relax- went with friends and the two who were treated by the men were very pleased- myself and another lady were manhandled by two women-her heel was left gouged from her pedi and toes even bled- I was treated like fast food- the grabbing and pulling and grunting from the woman was ridiculous- I tried to make small talk to warm her up but that went no where! She grabbed and twisted at my feet and was sanding like a deranged carpenter- even telling her she was hurting was ignored- then came the mani- pointing, grunting and one word directions were unappreciated- it was like an aggressive 'Gorilla meets 'Nell'- my nails were filed different lengths, the nail polish is missing on the edges and before the nails were even dry she demanded payment- hustled out the door after the lack of care was so unprofessional- I tried it state the flaws but only told-'I know' and then promptly ignored- Just like fast food- Disappointing and you wish you went to a better place and paid the extra money- Would not return and will warn others- my friends and I won't be back! read more

Well we decided to get our man nails cleaned up for a wedding we were attending and zipped into Diamond Nails first thing Saturday morning. I feel compared to excellent nail places in Mexico were service is amazing friendly and professional Diamond Nails fell down. We felt the woman rushed us through spending little time with us. I actually had to ask her to CUT the nails,,,sheesh. The rush job for 2 guys cost $40 with tip. I guess they thought any old thing would do and we would not be as critical as women clients. Usually we are not because at other nail places there is nothing to be critical about. I would probably not go to Diamond Nails again. There are probably more friendly spots that do more thorough work. read more

Unfortunetly there is no option for no stars, this place is the worst to get your nails done!! the woman did NOT listen to how I wanted my nails done. The finished product looks like someone gooped gel on my fingers, and did not smooth them out. no artistry put into painting your nails, I would never go back here! read more

Do not go here unless you want to feel like a burden. I've been here a couple times, and I always feel super rushed while choosing colors and deciding what I want. The employees are very unfriendly and are extremely irritated if you ask them to do things a certain way (ex: one girl was annoyed that I wanted my nails shorter).. They also have a VERY limited selection of gel colors. I literally left the salon today and repainted my nails the second i got home, because she hadn't done what I wanted. I should have had her redo my nails, but everyone was so hostile and impatient I didn't even bother. A huge waste of money and time. Go elsewhere if you want your nails done the way YOU like them. read more
