I have been going to this salon for years. The quality of the shellac mani/pedi is amazing. It lasts forever and always done very well from all individuals that work there. Reasonably priced and very good quality. I saw a few neg reviews on here and was quite surprised which is why I took some time to write this. I never write reviews however they truly deserve a good one. read more

I walked into this salon. They had prices on the wall. However, the ended up charging me twice more than the sign said. It was a French nail and the polish (white tip) wore off in a few days. read more

I highly recommend Hawaiian Nails. I've been going there for a couple of years and I won't go anywhere else now. Love the service, quality of work and the cleanliness!! The girls do a great job at this shop!!! read more

I went today for manicure and pedicure here today. My last experience at a different salon was so terrible, I was relieved and almost overjoyed at the level of service they provided me today. The ladies really make sure they know what you want. When they offer other services, they take no for an answer if that's what you say. I was so relieved not to feel pressure that I always feel in other salons. not to mention, my nails look fantastic! I will only come here from now on and so should you! read more

Great, convenient location on 17th Ave in a bright and clean location. Great massage chairs. Great colour selection. That said, the quality of polish in the pedicure was most definitely lacking. Right upon completion I could see bumps in the clear coat. Chipped within a couple days. One bad experience, perhaps? All else was great, pedicure wise. Massage was great! Tried addressing with manager and the tone was defensive. Pricing was different in store than posted online. read more

I couldn't be more thrilled with the service I get at this salon. I go like clockwork every 3 weeks for nails and 6 for a shellac pedicure (they never chip). Over 300 shellac colors and well over 100 powders. They're on top of all the latest trends and designs. I get compliments on my super cool nails everywhere I go. The owner has a heart of gold and treats you like family. Trin is an absolute rockstar on nails. I bring all my family in for pedicures when I'm from out of town. I'd never go anywhere else. I used to just get basic polish on my nails and now here I am, sporting the funkiest coffin ombré nails as they convinced me they would look great. 10/10 stars. read more

These ladies do a great job - excellent manis and pedis and tons of colours to choose from!! They also have those awesome massage chairs for the pedicures. I've been going here for years and they are the best. Highly recommend!! read more

Quality is great and attention to detail outstanding. The post service massage is my favorite part and it's surprising how many places don't have this as part of the service anymore. Friendly and professional. I'm surprised by the comments regarding fixes because once I was back at the salon a week after my mani for waxing and she noticed a chip in my nail and INSISTED they fix it. I honestly have to think it was a flies and honey situation. With a few exceptions, I have always found that one usually gets the service they deserve. I've been going there 4+ years. Anytime I stray I've been disappointed. read more

I got gift certificate to get pedicure at Hawaian Nail Salon for holidays. They very very friendly and knowledgeable treating my feet with such care, I felt relaxed and my feet felt rejuvenated like never before in my life. Definitively I want to go there again to wonderful feeling maybe every week. read more

I WOULD NOT recommend this nails salon even though the lady ( I believe is the owner) was friendly. The job done on my nails wasn't good at all. My nails were chunky, ugly and uneven. Both ladies that put the full nails set on rushed through all of it. They didn't care to do a good job even though I was a first time client. They kept accepting customers coming in without having enough staffs to look after them. The gel nails set didn't last too long. The nails that I have got in different salons look nicer and last at least 2 weeks. They should focus on providing a better service instead of just rushing up to making extra money!!!!! read more

I have been going to see Long and her staff for 4 years and am always so happy with the friendly service and excellent french manicure that they give me. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for a manicure. read more

Terrible! They charged me extra for an additional nail colour! The nail tech thought she was so clever but the only reason I went there was because it use to be Wendy's nail salon. I will never go back! I feel sorry for the young girl working there because I'm sure she has potential. You can't nickel and dime new customers with something like $5 for an extra colour on one nail? Don't go here! read more

First time, walked in and felt so welcome and comfortable. Awesome staff, definitely been telling friends of places. Thank you Tao( Tina) :) See you soon! read more

They don't cover the entire nail bed and argue over what colour you want. Plus the pricing is completely off. They charge you 15% more then they advertise read more

This doesn't even deserve the one Star. The job done on my nails wasn't good at all. The gentlemen that cut and prepped my toenails did an acceptable job (minus the chunk of skin missing from my big toe!!!!!!) but he was apologetic. The women (who i believe is the owner) however did a TERRIBLE job on the shellac. She rushed through it, only did one layer and didn't even take the time to cover the entire nail bed. When your paying $65 before tip (even though the advertised price is $15 cheaper) you expect it to better. Will never recommend or go back! read more

I've been going to this place for a couple months now. Each time I've told them that I had a wedding coming up to which they were excited for me! They genuinely did a great job every time - they are super friendly, warm women. I finally went in with my future sister in law for our pre-wedding full shellac mani/pedi that I had been looking forward to for months! They were happy to see us and were very accommodating. Brought us water bottles, gave us magazines. So it was much to my surprise that they rushed us out the door within the hour! They skipped out on many of the standard mani/pedi treatments and the girl I had ruined the shape of the nails I had painstakingly been growing for months prior to the wedding - who knew that a made up word (squoval??) is what you had to ask for in order not to get extremely pointy claws for nails (I asked for round). Yes, we were the last appointment of the night, but if they couldn't do a proper job they shouldn't have taken us on. I ended up being so disappointed with my nails that I had them completely re-done to salvage what I could from that appointment. I will never go back there again. read more

I booked an appointment to repair a cracked nail. The broken nail was my own fault, but they criticized the person that had previously done my nails (not respectful of me or the other technician). I'd had my nails done 4 days before and was complimented at my work, but these ladies asked me "did you file your nails they're crooked"...."you need a whole new set" (money grab and made me feel bad). It was embarrassing. It was awkward getting a repair and also getting my next fill. Every time they filed my skin with the filing machine they "humphed" at me like it was my fault. When done and it was time to tip, they seemed sweet as syrup. On the price list, gel fill was listed as $30 or more. I had a gel fill with no frills. Just clear gel, no colour, no design and they charged me $40. Will not go back. read more

I went there twice. The first time, was an okay experience. She seemed really annoyed that I wanted designs on my nails for this vacation I was going on, so I ended up feeling bad. I went again because the girl was nice, and the job was okay so I figured I'd give it another try. I WILL NOT/HAVE NOT GONE BACK SINCE THEN. The girl did my nails and asked if i wanted to put a cute bow or crown diamond on one finger. I said sure cause she seemed to know what she was doing and excited about it. She put it on, i cured my hand, and I take my hand out only to see that the diamond is crooked on my finger... so i tell her... and show her. I swear it was so crooked it was half on my nail and half on my skin! The owner or manager comes around, and tell me that it's not crooked, but that it's my finger, my bone, my nail that is crooked. I got so frustrated I didn't even speak afterwards, all I asked was for it to be taken off. She said it's an extra $10 for her to take it off, even after she messed it up. I said I didn't even care I just wanted it off (the crooked diamond). It was so painful, she was so rough, I was wincing in pain the whole time. I could not wait to get out of there. I have no gone back since and neither have my friends. Beware! read more

WORST SERVICE AND NAIL JOB I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I went to get my nails filled with my mom and we have been going there for a couple of months and never had an issue until recently, I wanted to get just a normal white tip with a fill and she rushed through all of it my nails are chunky and ugly and uneven and they are not even covering my whole nail and are starting to peel off after one day as well they are all crooked.. my mother wanted to get her tips a colour when she asked for the colour she was given a different colour when the lady doing them insisted it was the same one she always gets even tho it wasn't and refused to change them when they were done the owner gave nothing but attitude and said "well you shouldn't have said it was okay then. You can change the colour next time" it was not what she asked for and on top of the they look horrible and are so uneven and crooked. She still made my mom pay full price for something she did not want when she made it clear that it was the wrong colour and wasn't given the option of seeing the other colour before she started getting her nails done. I also got a toe infection when I got a pedicure there as well which was horrid and not clean at all. WORST COSTUMER SERVICE. The attitude and the service disgusted me I would never refer another person to go there. They are not good at doing nails and are clearly not very clean if it caused a toe infection from a bad pedicure. Never will I or anyone I know go there again they have absolutely lost customers and I hope that they never do that to anyone else because there's nothing worse then having bad nails that you have to pay full price for and not being given the option to fix them. So disappointed. read more
