I had been coming for around a year, the rudeness of the staff never really bothered me. But today, I had booked my teenage daughter an appointment for her birthday, and she was so excited. She walked in and the owner told her she was an hour late and started being rude to her, I booked my appointment for 3:30 and I said it multiple times and they put me down for 2:30. So hit or miss with this place! IF you get a good nail tech and IF they stay with you for the whole session, you lucked out! I for one find it incredibly rude when a tech is doing my nails and sees their 'friend' or regular come in and ditches me to some random other nail tech even though I had an appointment!. The sub-in did a crappy job on my nails, and when I told her I didn't like it, she scolded me 'well it's already done now!' and then proceeded to talk in her native tongue, clearly mad at me! Ended up going to a different nail place to get my nails done right! next time I'll save my $$ and go elsewhere. read more

Ok so I've pretty much had nothing but bad experiences when going to get acrylic sets done but I decided to try this place out. The place is really clean and modern and they were all very professional and nice. I made an appointment for the same day and they got me in right away when I arrived. I had mindy and she did an amazing job on my nails, she did them just like the picture I provided and I can't believe how affordable it was! I will definitely be going back for my next appointment and will be asking for mindy again :) read more

Never again. The two stars are for how nice the nail tech was, and that's it. After moving, I've been on the search for a nail salon that is closer to our new home. I tried them two weeks ago, and I'm regretting it now that I have to try to remove these nails and go get a new set done. Let me start by saying that I am in no way new to the world of false nails. I've been getting them done consistently for 7 years. At my old salon, I've never had a nail lift or break. Not. Even. Once. Thanks to superior technique and product. When I arrived, I asked specifically for UV gels. The tech told me that I should try solar gel. Much better she said. Stronger. I said, no, I would prefer uv, because it's what I'm used to. She insisted that I try, so I figured, why not? She pulled out the little jar of powder and one of liquid, and I said, "wait, that's acrylic. I don't want acrylic. I want gel." She says "yes! This gel. This powder turn into gel". Ohhhhkay... We'll see. She begins. And damn if it's not obviously acrylic. The technique, smell, and look. Acrylic. But when she was done, the looked fabulous. I hadn't had acrylic in years, maybe not so bad? When I got home, I took to google to research 'solar gel'. Guess what? It's a brand of ACRYLIC nails by cnd. Now, if I had been one of many people who have adverse reactions to acrylic, and I had ended up with issues after specifically asking for no acrylic, there would be a much bigger issue here. 2 weeks later, and 3.... THREE nails have broken clean off. The topcoat on one is gritty and flaked off. For not having one single nail break in years and years, and to have 3 break in 2 weeks, not good news. Maybe their uv gel nails, shellac, or pedi's are better, but I won't be going back to try. read more

Made my wife feel bad about her feet so she stopped going. I forgot and got her a manipedi gift certificate from there. After realizing my error the next day, I went back to politely request a refund. The MANAGER pretended she did not know how to do a refund....riiiight. She couldn't even make eye contact after that whopper. Ladies getting their nails done looked at me knowingly and sympathetically, knowing what was happening. That kind of place. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I called the day before to book and appointment and confirmed twice with the person on the phone the price for gel nails-- when we got there it was 20$ more expensive than they originally told us. When we argued that they didn't say that on the phone they were extremely rude and said we were lying on the phone about what we wanted. We ended up leaving and will NOT ever go back. Horrible customer service, definitely scammers. Beware and take your business elsewhere!!!! read more

This is a small, family run business and they take their customer service very seriously. I have been going to this wonderful shop for well over three years. I followed one nail tech from Sunridge Mall (I live in Bridgeland!) to Ruby Nails. I have, over the years, when my favourite tech (Mindy) has been away had my nails done by pretty much every tech there. They are kind, professional and conscientious about their work. If there is a problem they remedy it immediately. If you want a quiet, warm and reasonably priced salon service, you can't do better than Ruby Nails. read more

FANTASTIC little nail shop. They have very comfortable massage chairs, they are clean, cheap, and cheerful. They do a great job on calluses and make my toes look fab on a regular basis. I've been happier with the end product at Ruby's than I have at some fancy spas. Go to Ruby's. It's a local gem. read more

Terrible Terrible!! Do not waste your money going to this salon. The do such a terrible job. It is not clean and the staff spend most of their time talking to each other in their language which is rude. You know that they are talking about you. There are a million better places you can go to where you will get better service. read more
