I would give them a zero if I could. We brought in our five-year-old and paid for a full Mani Pedi. The polish on a couple of the nails peeled off within a couple hours. I took my daughter to get the two nails fixed the next day. The woman I spoke to was rude and didn't want to help us. They didn't seem to care despite the fact that the salon wasn't busy. Totally ignorant. I will never step foot in this salon ever again. read more

quality of the nails depends a lot on who's doing them. Jason and Van are great, so is Lilly. Minh not so much, my daughters nails are chunky and uneven. Really annoying is also the wait time lately. I waited a full hour before getting started - and that was with an appointment! last time I had to wait in between the process of filling and new color for at least 39 mins. sorry to give this feedback, but I hope it helps the place to improve. read more

I absolutely love this place been going here for over a year they always give me exactly what I want. The employees are super nice and are there to make you feel comfortable. The only complaint I have (and this only happened once) was when I broke my nail and went to get it fixed and the girl who was fixing it was rushing, she dipped my entire nail in the powder over 3 times in a row and didn't do it the proper technique, and not taking her time my nail looked nothing like my other nails. I ended up telling her I didn't like it and I got a new girl and she completely redid it and took her time with it and it looked amazing. I was in there for over an hour just for one nail though which was a bit annoying but overall they gave me what I wanted! read more

I went here before a big family wedding in California a few weeks ago. I had a Shellac mani and pedi. Within 24 hours of getting this my fingers were bumpy and itchy. I left it alone because we were leaving for the wedding. Well, things got worse. I ended up scraping the shellac off with acetone the night before we flew because of the pain. Now, two weeks later, my fingers are totally cut up and peeling, I have bumps all over my hands and feet and cuts on the bottoms of my feet. It is so painful. I have never had this happen to me at a nail place before. I would never go back there and question what they are using on your nails, and the hygiene there. Appeared to be a decent place - not overly clean or overly great but OK. That is until today. I had a girl start my dipped fill. She cut and filed my nails short. I thought, well not the end of the world. However as she continued she clearly was not able to get them to be centred or even - so instead of asking help just continued to file - until the point when I looked down and realized I had NO nails left. What was left on my fingers were stubs of dipped powder product. (I should mention this entire process took her 2 hours). I asked to have them removed - as my nails literally looked horrific. The woman who owns the place continued to tell me that they were fine, and that it was going to take them some time to remove and fix. I was there for 3 hours and they barely could focus enough to remove the product - every other client was more important than dealing with the mess of my nails that was left. Absolutely horrific. On top of spending 3 hours there, having my nails literally destroyed there was not an apology or a solution - just time wasted. Just in case you may think Im over exaggerating, please look at the photos attached below- the nails have been filed short and down so that you can see the pinkness of my skin THROUGH the nail bed, and the product is still left on my nails. I will be reporting this business to the BBB, and forwarding a complaint to the health authorities for inspection. Worst salon in Calgary! I've tried to give this salon multiple tries. I tried them a couple times when they first opened, disappointed both times, and recently gave them another try because I was hopeful they had gotten better. My fill was so thin that a nail had broken within the first 2 hours of a "fill". Half of them were bending. I called my regular salon for them to fix them and 2 days later when I got in for my fix I only had 5 nails in tact. I didn't trust kikkos to fix them and wasted money and time getting that fill. Reading all of the reviews and experiencing all of my experiences there I'm shocked that they're still in business. I hate complaining and hate the fact that I need to leave a bad review but I'm hopeful that maybe they'll take a step back and improve the quality of work they're putting out there. read more

Very happy with this nail salon. Brought my son in with me for my apt and he helped me pick out my nail colours. We took for ever choosing and everyone was patient with us. They did a great job with my bio gel nails. Had no lift or chips in the 3 weeks I had my first set on for, went back this time around. Very happy and will continue to use these lovely lady's for my choice of nail salon. read more

I was in the salon picking up my wife when I witnessed a disturbing situation where the owner (a man) rudely, loudly and degradingly yelled at a child who had taken a couple sugar cubes from the coffee/tea tray. Surely a couple sugar cubes aren't worth chastising a young child who had been waiting patiently while a simple manicure for his mom took over 90 minutes. Nail salons are a dime a dozen in Calgary. We were the first 2 appts...empty salon, rush job on both pedicures. My daughter's toe nail was cut and my skin was cut. We called them the next day to voice our concerns and all we got was ...so sorry. This was the 2nd time there and the last time!! Stay away!!!better salons in the area! We recently moved to the West Springs area and since my shoulder surgery, it was hard for me to drive to my old nail place (Elite Nails and Spa) which was at least 10 minutes drive so I thought, I'd give this place a try since it's literally a minute away from my new house. The place was obviously NOT kept clean. There's boxes and piles of papers everywhere. The machines they use to dry your nails in were filthy. The counters were dirty and super dusty. Ivy was the one who did my Ombre white /pink for $52 plus tax. It was pretty. But, after only six days, my nails started lifting. I went back to have it done after only a week and a half. Again, the same thing happened. One nail completely came off (she fixed it for free). The third time I had solar french tip (my usual at my old nail place for $42). She charged me $52 plus tax because "it was two colors" WTH!!! Before a week after I had this done, the nails did the same thing. Needless to say, I didn't go back. I was told that the nails would only do that if they weren't prepared properly before the gel application. I've been going to my old place for 8 years and my nails never lifted. I usually have it done monthly but never after a few days or so. Ivy would always say, see you in two weeks. And I thought, two weeks is too soon. But now I realized, she was well aware that my nails would start lifting in a week or so and therefore I would have to go back and have it done again. I don't recommend this place at all. It's dirty, they over charge and cheat. If I could give it no star I would. Take your business somewhere else. read more

I got gel nails with extensions and the bio gel (it cost extra) I was thinking they would last me for longer than a week, sadly they did not. I paid almost 80$ for them. One nail broke and then 2 days after another one broke .. I was taking out clothes from the dryer and another one broke. When I went back to the nail salon to fix the nails they said it was because I wanted "long" nails and that my real nails were "too short" (which is not true , they are a normal length) anyways she kept trying to justify them breaking by me wanting long nails. I had them for about a week and a half before I decided to take them off because they kept breaking. Really disappointed in the service / quality of the nails. They were very frail and fragile. Which does not make sense for gel nails. Anyways , will not be coming here again. It was a waste of money unfortunately. read more
